Feeling pregnant but no bfp yet

Hi ladies,
I've been pregnant before and feeling similar symptoms but AF not due for a few more days. I have tested a few times with different tests, all came back negative. AF is due in 5 days so I tried a clearblue digital but came back negative. I know it might still be early or I might just be imagining my symptoms. Anyone have a similar experience? Did you end up being pregnant or not?

@mum637k I may do on wednesday too then ill be 11dpo (ish) feel a bit nauseous again and have cramps in my right side and along lower stomach, just like pms cramps but lighter as i get them bad.

Louise392 · 18/02/2019 18:12

@Katy85 Fingers crossed its not an official AF, 5 days early is very early to have af isnt it? I am always bang on the date 23rd of each month.
They say if its not usual for you that it could be because you are pregnant :)

Mum637k · 18/02/2019 18:15

@Katy85 that sounds promising since something so unusual is happening- I too would take that as a pretty good sign. We can't know for sure yet but maybe ☺️

@Louise392 do you usually get cramps at this stage in your cycle? If not then same as above, I would take t as a good sign ☺️

I know @Mum637k I should take my own advice, easy to give to others, not so easy to listen to yourself is it :)
I never used to get sore boobs before i was on the pill 5 years ago and since coming off it in October i have them every month, usually only for a few days though not right up till my af is due.
They feel sorer as the days go on and bigger as they are popping out of the top of my bra lol.

Katy85 · 18/02/2019 18:28

@Mum637k @Louise392 it is very unusual if it is, last two AF were 30th Dec and 26th Jan, I started cramping and light spotting yesterday so actually that would make it 6 days early. Just a waiting game now I suppose, I really wish I could remember what happened during the first 5-6 weeks of my last pregnancy where I has no clue I was pregnant, no symptoms whatsoever and obviously didn't miss an AF at the start

Mum637k · 18/02/2019 18:37

@Katy85 have you considered jotting down your symptoms this month? In case it does to turn out to be a bfp you can keep a journal and know for next time!😁

Me too @Katy85 I had my DD 6 years ago and didnt know until i was feeling just wierd and not right as we had given up trying and then all of a sudden got an unexpected bfp. Dont even know what the signs and symptoms were apart from feeling not myself.

Katy85 · 18/02/2019 18:47

@Mum637k yes i am noting it all down this time, last time it was all such a blur, we we're mid way selling our house and buying a new one, we had a holiday and I started a new job. I actually found out at the end of my first week, only because no AF and I burst in tears at work for no reason!

@Louise392 I had zero symptoms, no morning sickness whatsoever etc, as I said above it was only really bursting into tears at work and I was a little tired, that made me think something was up

Louise392 · 18/02/2019 19:28

That is why this is worse in a way planning as we get so in tune with our bodies and monitor every little sign and feel all the cramps etc whereas if we weren't planning to conceive we probably wouldn't notice them all until something major like you @katy85 crying for no reason happened that prompts a test.

Katy85 · 18/02/2019 19:54

@Louise392 that's so spot on, I'm hyper aware this month, I know I need to relax a bit, it's just so hard when you want it so much! See now I'm feeling a weird pulling sensation, just above and to the right of the pubic bone area. This month is driving me nuts!

Louise392 · 18/02/2019 19:56

Its so hard, i am the same, just want a baby :(
I felt something like that a couple days ago @Katy85 above my pubic bone. I have full on pms aches tonight.

Katy85 · 18/02/2019 20:01

When are you going to test @Louise392?

Louise392 · 18/02/2019 20:22

@katy85 I am going to order some FRER off amazon tomorrow so when they come ill do one of them. I have some one step cheapies but ive had a false positive off them last month and reading reviews for them people say dont buy them.

When are you going to test?

Katy85 · 18/02/2019 20:31

@Louise392 not sure yet, I might give it another day or two and see if this bleeding situation gets any better, a real AF would last about 6 days, so if this stops sooner then that's another positive sign that's it's not that. Update us tomorrow! X

Louise392 · 18/02/2019 20:50

Ive just ordered a 2 pack of FRER from boots to click and collect on Wednesday, had £12 worth of points saved up on my advantage card so thought may aswell spend them on something i need :)

I am on here all the time on laptop or phone so will defo keep you updated :) x

Mum637k · 18/02/2019 21:32

@Louise392 I just ordered them too online fordelivery 🤣 also will get them Wednesday! Fingers crossed Wednesday gives us both positive results! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

@mum637k great minds think alike :)
I really hope so, having pms backache and stomache all this evening off and on and i feel so tired and hungry, just had some toast as felt starved!

Eslteacher06 · 18/02/2019 21:48

I hated this waiting period... it's horrible. And every month I'd think I was pregnant... Then get the good ole AF. I'm now 24 weeks pregnant with my second but the symptoms were so different with both. With the first, there were no symptoms apart from the feeling I had a tablet stuck in my throat all the time. The second time I had no symptoms apart from spotting which when I did do a pregnancy test for the hell of it, made me think I was miscarrying. I was in absolute shock when it was true. Basically...I was looking for signs that weren't there and it was torture!

Good luck though! :) Hope you get a BFP soon :)

Louise392 · 18/02/2019 21:53

Aww Congrats @Elsteacher06 Thanks for sharing, good to hear from pregnant mummies aswell as TTC mummies :)

Mum637k · 19/02/2019 15:27

Unfortunately my internet cheapies arrived today so naturally I had to test... bfn 😞 i am going insane. Never been so impatient in my life. Any tips on how to skip a day of testing?😆

OP posts:
Louise392 · 19/02/2019 19:34

Aww @mum637k may be too early still for the cheapies to work :)
I've not tested for 2 days now and that's good for me Lol, I really want to wait til Thursday morning as I've had some spotting this morning and a banging headache all day and if it's implantation bleeding they say hgc rises 2-4 days after.

Mum637k · 19/02/2019 19:43

@Louise392 ohhh I hope it's implantation for you!! ☺️ i got a frer today, i am truly going crazy. I swear i see a very very faint line on this but as I said I might very well be imagining lines at this point 🙈 help! What do you guys think? I'm still only 10ish dpo I think so i know early but i had to 🤣 i need your help haha ugh it won't let me upload the image I think I need to wait a bit because I'm a new user

OP posts:
Louise392 · 19/02/2019 19:51

Thanks @mum637k me too!
Oh why won't it let you post a pic?
I want to do some line spotting, have not done any for a while :)

Mum637k · 19/02/2019 20:01

@Louise392 because I'm a new member and have to wait 48 hours. That should be up in about 45 minutes though. In the meantime I sent to my friend and she said she doesn't see a line :( I'm truly going crazy

Pop1234 · 19/02/2019 20:08
