Hi ladies,
I've been pregnant before and feeling similar symptoms but AF not due for a few more days. I have tested a few times with different tests, all came back negative. AF is due in 5 days so I tried a clearblue digital but came back negative. I know it might still be early or I might just be imagining my symptoms. Anyone have a similar experience? Did you end up being pregnant or not?

@Pop1234 yes all good, but irritating, signs that everything's ticking along normally, no spotting or cramping etc just the normal first trimester stuff. I don't get a scan until after I've seen the midwife for the "booking appointment" where they run through all your medical history. I'll be 7weeks, and presume they'll book me in 5weeks later for the first scan. If eveything goes ok, then we'll tell our 5year old that he's going to be a big brother.

Mum637k · 05/04/2019 19:46

@Katy85 @Pop1234 glad you are doing good! I hope the scans go perfect for both of you ❤️ We have not tried this month and only dtd once around ovulation. I decided to put ttc on hold as it was driving me crazy and perhaps I wasn't ready for that after the mc. I do hope we fall soon but won't be tracking or really trying for a bit until I feel I can take on that kind of pressure. I already feel more calm this month

@Mum637k I'm glad you are taking a step back if it is making you feel so anxious. They always say it happens when you least expect it.

Got my first scan this afternoon. I am soooo nervous 😩

Inthesky42 · 10/04/2019 11:00

Hey guys

Hope i can join? Im 16DPO. AF due 3 days ago. Just been to hospital as I sprained my ankle... Was going to hold out testing until Friday as wanted to have greatest chance of BFP... Ive been having so many symptoms. Boobs are huge and painful, really gassy and bloated, and got this feeling like AF isn't going to come but they tested me today as I had to have an xray and it was BFN... Feel so depressed (this is 9th cycle)... Do you think I have any chance of BFP in next few days and it was just a bit too early? Are NHS tests as sensitive as FRER?

Mum637k · 10/04/2019 15:58

@Pop1234 oh of course, I would be nervous too but I have everything crossed for you!!!! let us know it went okay

@Inthesky42 helloo! You do still have a chance, tons of women only find out days after AF is due. You'll inly know for sure if AF arrives or if you get a positive test. Fingers crossed for you!!

Inthesky42 · 10/04/2019 16:06

Thanks @mum637k :)

Need all the positive waves right now! Been worrying I've got PCOS - cycles vary between 24 and 35 days and I definitely think I have to pluck more chin hairs than the average 33 Yr old!

We were on hol during fertile week this month and DTD loads plus were super relaxed so I'm really really hoping we managed it this month. We have such stressful jobs that we don't manage to DTD much during the week so it can be tricky to hit the right days!

Katy85 · 11/04/2019 08:58

@Inthesky42 Hi, you're not out til AF arrives! It could just be that, if you are pregnant, it's not kicking out enough hcg to be detected yet

Inthesky42 · 11/04/2019 09:36

Thanks! Still nothing on the AF front. I'll be testing with a FRER tomorrow.. Fingers crossed!

Mum637k · 11/04/2019 17:28

@Pop1234 I hope all went well yesterday!
@Katy85 are you havingg a scan anytime soon?

@Mum637k yes it did thank you. Just over 6 weeks with a heartbeat. Very happy but don't feel out of the woods just yet.

Hey, can I join? New to all this and driving myself and DH a wee bit crazy.

I’m 21 DPO and expected AF a whole week ago but getting BFN. I am symptom spotting like crazy and have been feeling really nauseous the last few days but now convinced it’s all in my head.

Is it possible to just skip a period if you’re overthinking it?!

Mum637k · 13/04/2019 17:58

@Inthesky42 congratulations!!!😊

@Katy85 @Pop1234 ladies I don't want to jinx anything and feeling a but nervous that it's all just a dream but I got this just now!!!! AF is still 7 days away so I'm really really really hoping this line just gets darker by the day and doesnt fade for the next 8-9 months!😊

@mum637k that's a definite positive - congratulations to you too!! Dec babies for us all being well :) xx

Mum637k · 13/04/2019 18:25

@Inthesky42 thanks so much!!! I am still shocked 😂 How many dpo are you? What were your symptoms?

OP posts:
Katy85 · 13/04/2019 19:39

@Mum637k oh my god oh my god!!! Yaaaay, and the month you decided to take it a little easier too. That's incredible! Thats a strong positive if AF is still 7days away, thats a strong bean! I cant tell you how made up i am for you. How are you feeling??
@Inthesky42 congrats girl! Again that's a strong positive!

I'm getting my arse well and truly kicked today, really bad nausea all day. We took our little boy to pizza hut and I couldn't eat anything except the fries and a non-alcoholic ginger beer! No scan yet, went to the midwife on Tuesday, has my bloods taken (6 tubes) for screening, I'll be sent an appointment for the first scan somewhere between 14th-28th may (12-14 weeks)

Katy85 · 13/04/2019 19:40

@MoltenLasagne stress can definitely affect your cycle, but a week is really long, have you been to your doctors yet?

Pop1234 · 13/04/2019 19:58

@Mum637k I told you!!! I'm so happy to see this. Yayyyy congratulations ❤️

Mum637k · 13/04/2019 20:20

@Katy85 thanks!!! I am feeling pretty good but I did test on suspicions because I was feeling borderline nauseous for a few days and had some other symptoms that made me wonder. Do you really think it's a strong line?? I'm about 10 dpo I think. I wonder if nausea will be worse this time if I'm feeling it sooner. It's all very exciting, but I suppose I won't fully relax till we are past the 6 week mark and know everything is going as should. First milestone is missing AF! Have you been sick as well or lingering nausea all day with no sickness?

@Pinkcat231 thank youuu😊 how are you feeling nowadays?

OP posts:
Katy85 · 13/04/2019 20:53

@Mum637k yeah I think that's strong, that looks like my 13dpo test. I know you'll be nervous for the next few weeks, we're here for you though. How did your partner take the news?
I've not been sick yet, but today has definitely been the worst day of it, from as soon as I woke up at 6am up to about 6pm. I tried some new ginger tea in the afternoon and had a glass of vimto (that stuff cures all, trust me) and it's eased off a lot.

Mum637k · 13/04/2019 21:01

@Katy85 thanks so much, it's nice to have this support when not being able to discuss with anyone else yet! oh yes I am a bit nervous, I really hope AF doesn't show and all goes well 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 gosh yeah all day nausea is the worst! Really, vimto? I'll have to keep that in mind 😂 hubby was really happy, we've been talking about it since 😂

MoltenLasagne · 13/04/2019 22:16

@Katy85 - thanks, I haven’t been to the doctors about it. May wait a week and see what happens!
