Feeling pregnant but no bfp yet

Hi ladies,
I've been pregnant before and feeling similar symptoms but AF not due for a few more days. I have tested a few times with different tests, all came back negative. AF is due in 5 days so I tried a clearblue digital but came back negative. I know it might still be early or I might just be imagining my symptoms. Anyone have a similar experience? Did you end up being pregnant or not?

@Katy85 I had positive ovulation tests on the 6th and 7th so I think Monday would be about 11 dpo depending on when I actually ovulated. I won't be testing with frer unless I have reason to, but I definitely will test Monday and update you guys 😊 I just have no idea what to expect but I hope I get a bfp soonx

@Mum637k got everything crossed for you. Did you resist testing this morning??

Mum637k · 17/03/2019 12:49

@Pop1234 no I didn't 😂 bfn of course. I don't expect a positive yet for sure be ause AF is still 8 days away. I can really only use frer from Tuesday or Wednesday. I don't know I don't expect any good news this month but it sure would be great 😆

@Mum637k I think a FRER would show up before IC wouldnt it? But like you say don't waste your money unless you have a reason to. Really hoping for you. Were you trying for long with your first pregnancy?

@Katy85 thank you. I'm really nervous already. How are you doing?

@Pinksunset1 let us know how you get on tomorrow.

Mum637k · 17/03/2019 21:49

@Pop1234 Yes I would expect the frer to show before an ic I'm just trying not to waste so much money like last month 🙈 first pregnancy was first cycle so unfortunately that set really high expectations 😂 we are on cycle 2 now. I know it can take a while and I think I have come to terms with that but the wait is still hard. I hope for the best too! Thank you💗

Pop1234 · 17/03/2019 21:57

@Mum637k I don't blame you I didn't want to waste any either. That was the same as us we got caught first try with all 3 MC so last month when we didn't I was gutted. I know how you feel but this month could still be your month x

Pop1234 · 18/03/2019 07:47

@Mum637k did you test? My line seems to be fainter this morning. I'm not holding out much hope 😔

Mum637k · 18/03/2019 07:57

@Pop1234 I did not test this morning believe it or not. I did last night and there wasn't even an imaginary line so I figured no point in testing today. I will try to hold out as long as I can. I wouldn't worry just yet, 1 test difference doesn't necessarily mean anything :) this could just be your fear talking from past experience but this is a new experience 💗 urine could have been more diluted, just check in 2-3 days maybe. My fingers are crossed for you🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

@Mum637k I am very proud of you! Well now it's dried it doesn't look much difference, just not any darker. But I don't think I get great lines with fmu anyway and this was. I'm 12dpo today and the test that was 10dpo was second mu.

Top is 10dpo
Bottom 12 dpo

Mum637k · 18/03/2019 08:10

@Pop1234 thank you!😂
Well I am no expert but I don't see anything to worry about as of now☺️ You might try the same sort of time of day for the tests. I know it's hard because of previous experience but those tests both look like nice strong lines for pre AF due date tests! I'm happy for you! Give yourself the day to just be ecstatic x

@Mum637k ah I am such a worrier!! Drive myself insane. I'm wondering now if my letter will come in the post 🤦🏼‍♀️

Katy85 · 18/03/2019 09:46

@Pop1234 are you 'late' yet? Those are strong lines, stronger than mine at 12dpo! I'm officially maybe two days late today, I took my last FRER yesterday at 15dpo and it was darker than my last test at 13dpo. I won't take anymore now, just trying to get a gp appointment, none available this week 🙄 so I'll have to ring up one morning for one of the 'on the day' ones they do, probably Friday as I work from home that day anyway. Symptom wise I'm not really nauseous, only a tiny bit when I first wake up along with a lovely headache, both disappear within an hour, reflux in the evenings, and that's about it. So so far the mirror image of my last pregnancy with my son

Progression lines wed-sun

Feeling pregnant but no bfp yet
Pop1234 · 18/03/2019 11:00

@Katy85 no I won't be 'late' until Friday. Could that be why I haven't seen much progression over two days? I'm still getting a bit of cramping and a bit of nausea.

@Mum637k my letter has come!! It's a letter to say that the chromosome tests were never performed as they no longer do them routinely as part of recurrent miscarriage. So now my option is to look forward and be positive!!

Katy85 · 18/03/2019 11:57

@Pop1234 would you call it cramping, whatever I'm feeling isn't quite that, it's pressure/tingly sensation, still get it occasionally in that very specific spot an inch or two diagonally down and left of my belly button (possibly that's where the egg implanted and is growing), and then I now get an occasional pulling/pressure much further down and more to the right.

Mum637k · 18/03/2019 13:44

@Pop1234 oh that's great!!!! I'm so happy there is nothing for you to worry about now and can just enjoy 😊

@Katy85 I'm so glad you are doing so well!😊 did you suspect you were pregnant before your bfp?

Retrieversandredwine · 18/03/2019 14:50

Can I join? TTC following miscarriage in January which held on in there for far too long!

Got my BFN on 1st March so back on the waggon, no idea where in my cycle I am although I feel as though I've just ovulated as I get quite strong ovulation symptoms since having my first baby.

I feel so in limbo not knowing where I am with anything 😂

Pop1234 · 18/03/2019 16:50

@Mum637k @Katy85 I've bought some more FRERS 😂 going to do one later! I'm insane!

Mum637k · 18/03/2019 17:42

@Pop1234 haha it's okay! Don't be disheartened though, it might be quite diluted now,no? Have you or @Katy85 felt extra tired before bfp? Had a nap this afternoon I just couldn't stay awake! I am a little hopeful now even thiugh I immediately tested with an ic after the nap and it was bfn 😂

OP posts:
Pop1234 · 18/03/2019 18:46

@Mum637k exhausted!! And I still feel it now. I had a nap on Friday before by BFP on Saturday! I think you should get a FRER 😂

I've just done another test. It's darker, so I can relax a bit now thank god x

Katy85 · 18/03/2019 19:41

@Mum637k i was a little more tired than normal, my eyes were just heavy, I think I napped last weekend at 8dpo which I don't normally do. For me it was the heartburn/reflux thing more than anything. Towards the end of the day on 8/9/10dpo I got a burning feeling all down my throat, like I'd just eaten masses of food, but I'd had nothing.
@Pop1234 yay for darker lines!

Pop1234 · 19/03/2019 11:05

@Mum637k any sign of AF?

Mum637k · 19/03/2019 11:27

@Pop1234 @Katy85 AF is due Monday the 25th so too early for pms I think. You're right I'll try with a frer,but I think on Friday or Saturday as that will be close enough to AF due date for a positive. Still too early as of now. How are you both doing?☺️ I want to hear the good stuff!💗

OP posts:
Katy85 · 19/03/2019 14:26

@Mum637k yeah if AF isn't due til Monday then wait til fri/sat at the earliest, I got that super super faint at 4days before AF due date. I'm surviving off lemon and ginger tea and ritz crackers today, I do not feel great, but i have had a really stressful morning in work which isn't helping how I feel. At least I finish at 3 and once I've picked my little man from school it'll be straight home and pjs on by 4pm
