Feeling pregnant but no bfp yet

Hi ladies,
I've been pregnant before and feeling similar symptoms but AF not due for a few more days. I have tested a few times with different tests, all came back negative. AF is due in 5 days so I tried a clearblue digital but came back negative. I know it might still be early or I might just be imagining my symptoms. Anyone have a similar experience? Did you end up being pregnant or not?

What symptoms are you having. I'm currently 9dpo, light cramping yesterday and a bit stronger today, AF isn't due til Saturday though. TMI alert! Very light brown when wiping yesterday, again today, although there does seem to be more of it today, but defintly not red (so far). Just hoping AF isn't being cruel and deciding to come 5 days earlier!!

Pop1234 · 18/02/2019 09:42

Hi ladies

Try a FRER Smile

Katy85 · 18/02/2019 10:15

I have bought a FRER two test pack this morning. But i think I'll try the first one tomorrow so I can use first wee of the day, as it's still quite early and I only started lightly cramping yesterday, if that was implantation then I'd like to give it a couple of days for the hormone to kick in. I'm just really keeping an eye on this spotting business, but then again when I found out I was pregnant with my first child five years ago, I didn't find out til I was nearly 6weeks gone, I'd somehow missed the first missed AF, possibly because of mistaking implantation bleeding for AF

Mum637k · 18/02/2019 11:07

Hi ladies,
Silly question but which one is FRER?

@Katy85 I'm having brief moments of nausea, really long dreams ( I never dream really), diet changes, and weeing a lot. Same as first time around where I'm noticing some things but not sure if im imagining or actually happening Grin I hope AF doesn't come for you this month!!

@Mum637k first response 6 days earlier. Superdrug have them Smile

Let us know how you get on!!

Katy85 · 18/02/2019 11:21

@Mum647k

I'm the same, I don't know whether I'm imagining some symptoms because I'm hyper aware this month. Definitely not imagining the spotting and cramping though, as long as it doesn't get heavier or start turning red by the end of the day then I'll take it as a positive sign and take the first response test first thing tomorrow morning. Cramping is easing off a little I think, but I think I feel like little spasms or pulls now, not as painful as it was this morning on the way to work.

Katy85 · 18/02/2019 11:23

Tagged the wrong person @Mum637k lol

Pop1234 · 18/02/2019 11:25

@Katy85 I'm also 9dpo and not sure if I'm imaging the cramping or not. I've got some FRER coming later but feel to nervous to test!!

Mum637k · 18/02/2019 11:26

@Katy85 ohhh I hope so much for you to get a positive test in he morning!!!! Fingers crossed Grin

@Pop1234 @Katy85 I worked something out here - so I ovulated 4 dayslater than last time. Do you thi k that mean AF is also due 4 days later?
I had MC earlier this year and so I'm not sure about my cycle lengths now as I haven't had a complete one yet since mc. They used to be spot on 27 days.

Pop1234 · 18/02/2019 11:30

@Mum637k yes it is very possible. Miscarriages can make your cycles longer. I've had 3 in the last 8 months and my previous cycle after my last miscarriage was longer x

Mum637k · 18/02/2019 11:35

@Pop1234 ah thank you. The number of tests I've wasted thinking I was further along in my cycle Confused wishing you luck too this monthSmile

Just resisting the urge to take a test today, I know there's no point as it can take a couple of days after implantation (if that's what I'm experiencing today and yesterday) for enough hormones to be produced and detected. I told my fiance I was cramping and he just assumed that AF was visiting, I said I'm not due til Saturday, he just went "oh", i think he'll be more nervous than me for the rest of the day!

Mum637k · 18/02/2019 14:12

@Katy85 fingers crossed for you guys!!

@Katy85 I know I'll be POAS later even though I'm only 9DPO 🤦🏼‍♀️

Pop1234 · 18/02/2019 15:38

@Mum637k thank you and to you too. Keep me updated 😁

Louise392 · 18/02/2019 16:32

Hi Ladies,
I am 9dpo today, due af on saturday and having so many symptoms!

Ive done some temps the last few days too to stop me poas lol and they have ranged from 98 to 97.7.

Having cramps, nausea, pms stomache today and backache, had flu symptoms fri and sat that have gone away today.
Why does it take so long to find out lol

Mum637k · 18/02/2019 16:43

Hi @Louise392 ! I am struggling too, these 2 weeks feel like MONTHS it's driving me crazy. I would be due on Saturday too but now I think it might be 4 days later as previous posts suggest urrrghh. Grin

Louise392 · 18/02/2019 16:52

I know, it just seems to drag and go on forever!
I am going by 9th as my ov date as i had 2 sets of positive 2 lines on cheapies one around 7th and one around 9th so i may be a couple days more or a couple days less, going to use the smiley ones next time least they are clearer, hopefully wont need to :)

When are you planning on testing? I am scared to, had too many BFN's last month just dont want any more :(

Mum637k · 18/02/2019 17:24

@Louise392 I had positive ovulation test in the evening on the 8th and in the morning on the 9th. I've taken a clearblue digital this morning, second wee of the day and it said not pregnant. After this I think I will test on Wednesday probably because I can't help myself Grin when are you going to test?

OP posts:
Pop1234 · 18/02/2019 17:34

I have just done a FRER and it was a BFN. But I am only 8/9dpo so I guess early days yet but not holding out much hope ☹️

Mum637k · 18/02/2019 17:37

@Pop1234 Oh no :( but it is really early so I am still hoping for you Smile I'm in the same boat I'm trying to keep in mind that most women seem to get the first bfp around 2-3 days before AF(if before AF at all) so let's go with that. Fingers crossed for all of us ladies!

Katy85 · 18/02/2019 17:39

My spotting suddenly went very heavy at around 3pm, if it is AF then it's 5 days early, literally never happened to me!
The only shred I'm clinging to is that I didn't know I was pregnant with my first child five years ago until around 5 weeks. There's no way I didn't notice not having AF at the start of that pregnancy, so i must have had something very similar to AF, I'm hoping this is the same deal, but feeling very disheartened right now

Mum637k · 18/02/2019 18:02

@Katy85 i hope it's same as what you had first time around! Do you know for certain when you ovulated?

OP posts:
Katy85 · 18/02/2019 18:08

@Mum637k not for sure, I guessed it was around the 9th as my cycle is always 28 days and starts on a Saturday, last AF was the 26th Jan. At most I'm only ever one day early or late, 5 days is unheard of for me.
