Faint line??

Hi everyone

I’m 2 weeks post ovulation according to my opks but not sure when my period is due as it’s vwry irregular. Last month was 39 days so if it’s the same I’ll be due AF in next few days.

I did a boots pregnancy test today (results up to 5 days early) and there’s definitely a second line but it’s faint? Also the whole screen went purple at first so I was worried I’d broken it.

My friend who has had a few chemical pregnancies ha deflated me a bit saying her positive results when it was chemical was faint like mine and after 2 weeks it should be darker.
Anyone else had a line like mine and it all been fine??? Desperate for some hope! I’ll do another test tomorrow but any support in the next 24 hours would be much appreciated :-)

They don't look faint to me, more like clear positives. Congratulations!

Really?? Oh wow, maybe I can relax a little then! I’ve always had negatives so no idea what to expect and thought they should be very dark! Eek, fingers crossed!!!

The screen went purple, because that’s the dye running across the screen. You don’t have a faint line. It’s incredibly clear. That’s a definite positive without any doubt. I’ve had positives much fainter and have resulted in babies.

that's not faint at all, it's screams BFP! Congrats!!

The second line isn’t usually exactly the same as the first line. The second line has reacted with the hcg hormone in your wee ( if you are pregnant) whereas the first line turns pink just from the dye passing over it first.

Congratulations. I bet if you do another test tomorrow you’ll get another positive, or even do a digital. It literally spells it out for you

That's not faint at all! Faint is squint your eyes, hold it up to light, can't be seen much on a photo. Yours is clear as day. Congratulations x

Thanks everyone for your reassurance! I did 2 more today including a clear blue one which says I am 2-3 weeks.
SO excited but trying to stay calm and not get too ahead of myself yet!

Weird timing too....I’ve got an appointment at the fertility clinic next week! Better cancel that! Maybe the HSG test I had done in November helped!

That looks like a defo positive...im due my period tomorrow & have done 2 tests yesterday & today (so 2 & 1 day early) and mine are sooo faint i dont know if im imagining them...congratulations...i would have no doubt looking at your tests!

My3boys990 - I can definitely see lines on both so you’re not imagining them! Can’t help other than that though but I’m sure others can reassure you. Hope you get darker lines over the next few days!
