Anybody starting their tww?
Mine starts today, my app says test on the 25th so I'm challenging myself not to test early this time!

Come join me for 14 days of symptom spotting and a healthy dose of moaning about mean AF.

I had a glass of wine last night. I think it’s fine! My first pregnancy was a surprise and I definitely had a few glasses before I found out. Of course he was fine.

tedsy · 13/01/2019 20:33

Hi there. Can I join the post. Ttc #1 and just heading into the Tww. AF due around 27th which feels like a long time alway. Now I just need to keep myself busy (distracted) for a few weeks. my husband seems so calm about the whole ttc thing, much more than me at least Smile

Gumball54 · 13/01/2019 20:35

That sounds good @ShortandSweet96! I’m going to try and keep busy too.

Gumball54 · 13/01/2019 20:35

Welcome @tedsy

tedsy · 13/01/2019 20:36

Thanks @Gumball54

HeartvsHead · 13/01/2019 20:52

@tedsy I'm about then too! Going to be a long couple of weeks.

@ShortandSweet96 I'm trying to teach myself to crochet to keep myself busy! Not very successfully...

ShortandSweet96 · 13/01/2019 20:58

@heartvshead
I desperately wanted to crochet but just couldn't get the jist of it! I find knitting much easier but crochet is prettier!

Hopefully in a couple of weeks we'll all.be posting out BFP'S! We're all due to test around the same time this is looking like a lucky thread!

I had a glass of wine on Friday night and enjoyed it very much lol! Have any of you been weeing a lot? I've lost count the amount of times I've been the toilet today, also noticed boobs have been bit sore today, can that be normal after ovulation?. X

ShortandSweet96 · 13/01/2019 21:04

Oh and welcome @tedsy! My OH is also very calm, weirdly so. He's never really shown a lot of outward mention, except when he stubbed his toe earlier, it as hilarious! But I can't imagine what his reaction will be when I get a BFP!

OP posts:
ShortandSweet96 · 13/01/2019 21:06

@lauraliverpool.
I've wee'd a lot today but I've also drank a lot too, I've never been very good with water intake even though I do enjoy water, birthday I've been so thirsty so that probably why I'm weeing so much. Had a shower earlier and my boobs seemed to be a bit tender and my one nipple is a little.. itchy? Or sensitive I can't tell!

I think it's way too early to have symptoms though:(

OP posts:
tedsy · 13/01/2019 21:08

@ShortandSweet96 I can't wait to see my OHs reaction to a BFP, I've been thinking of fun ways I could tell him .. but prob I wouldn't be able to keep it quiet long enough to plan anything.

tedsy · 13/01/2019 21:09

I've never managed to crochet or knit successfully unfortunately! But sewing machine will be out this week as a way to spend some time

ShortandSweet96 · 13/01/2019 21:21

@tedsy.
My OH takes a little bit longer to catch onto things, either that or he's playing dumb. So my thought was to put a bum of some sort I'm the oven, ask him to put the oven on and put a tray in to pre-heat. When he asks me why it's in there I'm just going to say "you put that in there" when he starts arguing that he never outfit in there, which he will because he get a defensive about being accused lol, I will say " No DP, you put that hun in the oven.."

And bloody hope he realises what I'm talking about. Thicko.

That my plan, it's a little cliche I think but the only thing I can thinking other than coming out the loo post-POAS shouting "WE'RE PREGNANT"

Lauraliverpool · 13/01/2019 21:22

Probably way too early for symptoms, my nipples are quite sensitive just read it can be a good sign you've ovulated, this has happened these past few months.

Lauraliverpool · 13/01/2019 21:25

@ShortandSweet96 I like that idea! ☺️

Peaky1 · 13/01/2019 21:30

Hi all!

I'm pretty sure that I ovulated yesterday (static smiley on Friday night) and dtd yesterday, day before and then every other day before that because of the clear blue flashing smiley driving me mad for 6 days 😅! So, that should make me 1dpo 😁.

I'm 39
TTC #3 (have 6 and 3 year old boys)
CD14 and period is due Jan 26/27

Pika88 · 13/01/2019 21:39

Hey All,

Hope you don't mind me joining, already 1 week into my tww and I am just sooo desperate to know. AF due on 20th. This is only my first cycle but a baby is all I can think about at the moment. Im driving myself crazy! Not on any prenatals, folic acid etc but had a panic today after lots of reading and ordered some on amazon.

Age - 30
TTC - #1
CD - 23
Cycle - 1

ShortandSweet96 · 13/01/2019 21:41

@peaky1 Welcome! Due on the same time as me! I ovulated between the 11th and 12th. We've tried Sperm Meets The Egg this month as read really positive things about it!

This is out month ladies!!

ShortandSweet96 · 13/01/2019 21:43

Welcome @pika88

I also have baby brain! Can't stop thinking about names or how I'm going to decorate the nursery. We've decided when i get my BFP we're going to celebrate by having the stairs, landing and bedrooms re'carpeted ready to make the nursery lovely for baba!

Have you had any symptoms yet?

OP posts:
HeartvsHead · 13/01/2019 21:43

Pretty sure with my little girl I woke hubby up by shoving the pee stick in his face. Romance!

Mooey89 · 13/01/2019 21:45

Yup! 3-4DPO here and boobs are rock hard and painful, which I know is TOTALLY psychosomatic but symptom spotting is fun 😂

ShortandSweet96 · 13/01/2019 21:45

That will be me @heartvshead I won't be able to help myself!

OP posts:
ShortandSweet96 · 13/01/2019 21:47

@mooey89 I know, I quite enjoy symptoms spotting but it also drives me crazy!

I'm looking forward to getting into work this week so the days will fly by, we have a really busy tough week on at work so I know that will keep me too busy to do too much reading into symptoms!
