Hi ladies,

I suffered a silent miscarriage end of October and was just looking to start a thread for ladies in a similar position to me, who are trying to conceive at the moment. Would be lovely to have some support and guidance.

xx

Me too! I'll keep you posted and please keep me posted with how you get on. Still no cramps or bleeding! I'll test again next week if I still haven't had any MC symptoms but for now I'm going to try and put it to the back of my head, Iv got collage on Friday and I'm working all weekend so hopefully that will distract me. Iv got my mum coming for a sleepover tonight so that will be nice x

Dianebz1 · 16/01/2019 17:40

@Em39ma thanks and yeah he does, hopefully I'll get to the bottom of it ..hope you do to xx

Em39ma · 16/01/2019 18:02

I hoping the doctor will have some answhen he calls tomorrow.

chocolatecake08 · 16/01/2019 18:33

Im struggling not to do a test now🤔

pandaobsessed · 16/01/2019 18:33

@ale2992 I'd try a pregnancy test. When I was pregnant with my son, to find out if I was indeed pregnant, I took an ovulation test to see if it would show up positive (as I'd heard they can sometimes detect pregnancy) and it was positive! I then followed it straight up with a pregnancy test which confirmed things x

@Dianebz1 @Em39ma

Im even more lost..

How long does it take for a strong positive?

I couldn't resist and did a first response test which was positive but faint.

Thats now 2 clear blue positives 2 tesco negatives and 1 first response positive????

Em39ma · 16/01/2019 19:01

@chocolatecake
I would stop testing. Give it a couple of days then try again.
I think sometimes all the testing make us a little crazy.
You got a good couple of positive , so I would say yes you are, now just give it some time

ale2992 · 16/01/2019 19:05

@pandaobsessed I did a pregnancy test this morning and it was negative

chocolatecake08 · 16/01/2019 19:14

@Em39ma Its now a dark positive on the first response. Im planning on going to the doctors tomorrow and i will ask for a blood test x

Em39ma · 16/01/2019 19:34

That a good idea, I think you are.
So bad congratulations. Let us know what the doctor says

Em39ma · 16/01/2019 19:35

Sorry that was big congratulations, not bad😂
@chocolatecake

chocolatecake08 · 16/01/2019 19:43

@Em39ma 🤣🤣🤣,

Will do, thankyou x

do you use one of them apps to track your periods etc?

Em39ma · 16/01/2019 20:28

Yes, I’ve had one for about 6 years.
Only met my partner last year, but I’m AF have been getting closer and closer together so need to know when the would appear.

chocolatecake08 · 16/01/2019 20:36

Do you find dates etc are accurate?

My app claims im 6 weeks surely not🤔x

HayzCo · 16/01/2019 21:01

Hi all, really glad to have found this thread. I had a missed miscarriage with d&c end of November, it is comforting to just feel less alone! Thank you so much for everyone that has shared here.

I had my first period on Christmas Day and I ovulated on Monday according to my natural cycles app (though it hasn’t fully confirmed it yet), I think it could have been slightly earlier. Anyway today I have had such sharp stabbing pains in my lower abdomen and a bit of back pain. I’m also so incredibly tired. Anyone else experienced this? I am really scared there’s something wrong. Did we try again too soon?

Thanks for any thoughts guys, if I can help anyone else here too I will. Great to be in the thread x

chocolatecake08 · 16/01/2019 21:11

@HayzCo

Hi, im glad you thought we have helped and sorry for your loss❤️

I was advised my midwife i could try again once i had stopped bleeding if i felt ready.

Em39ma · 16/01/2019 21:13

@Hayzco
I got bad pains the first time I ovulated, so could just be that.
I would keep an eye on it, if you get more concerned phone your doctor.
I became rather poorly after my miscarriage, but by what I know my reaction is very rare.
@chocolatecake
You could be, but when did you start with the app.
Takes about 3/4 month to build up a pattern.

chocolatecake08 · 16/01/2019 21:55

@Em39ma

Ive been using it 3/4 years now x

glowingtwigs · 16/01/2019 22:04

Argh I'm so down guys. Late AF and negative on FRER 😔

This is my last go before turning 38...not sure why this matters so much to me but I feel bad about it. Cycle 6 after mc coming up then and cycle 8 in total.

Em39ma · 16/01/2019 22:04

Then I would say then, that is about right for your cycle.
@chocolatecake

Em39ma · 16/01/2019 22:11

This might be TMI, but my boobs and chest are almost completely blue. The veins are going crazy, is this normal pregnancy sign.

chocolatecake08 · 16/01/2019 22:13

@Em39ma

My boobs were absolute agony i was sobbing in pain at the weekend and they turned how your describing, so fingers crossed!!! X

Em39ma · 16/01/2019 22:24

There sore, but mine are always quite sore. There rather large.
Hopefully it’s a good sign, if I could now just get a positive test

chocolatecake08 · 16/01/2019 22:32

My only sign has been a missed period and sore boobs and ive got positives now so im hoping that you get the same results xx

@Em39ma

StarryEyed88 · 16/01/2019 22:47

Am I going mad or is there a faint 2nd line on the top one? I put it next to an unused one to compare. That was a test I did right now. AF due today but never showed. I have a CB early results one but want to save that for morning!
