Hi ladies,

I suffered a silent miscarriage end of October and was just looking to start a thread for ladies in a similar position to me, who are trying to conceive at the moment. Would be lovely to have some support and guidance.

xx

@Dianebz1

I feel so sad for you😞😞,
Dont write everything off yet tho❤️

Newbie21 · 18/01/2019 01:03

I have my fingers crossed for you all.

This journey is just so hard. After spotting since Sunday night, AF arrived this morning. My boss also announced she is pregnant with her second due in June - when my baby from my MC2 would have been due had I gone full term. I'm happy for her but it is the first time I've heard baby news and felt my heart sink. This is just becoming so overwhelmingly tough. I'd say I'm not sure I am strong enough to keep trying but I know that I will, I don't think I know what else to do. To give up would be devastating. Sorry for the depressing post. It's just getting so hard. Been trying for #2 for over a year now.

chocolatecake08 · 18/01/2019 07:00

@Newbie21

It is really hard. Dont give up yet.

Have you been for tests etc at the doctors? X

I can really relate to you and how you feel when you hear baby news it will be your turn soon❤️

Random2468 · 18/01/2019 07:13

Hi ladies
Can I join?
Age 28, cycle 3, 6 DPO. MMC in October with an ERPC. Took 9.5 weeks to get my first period back. Desperately wanting that bfp more than anything... it seems it's the only thing that's going to make me feel OK again after whats happened. Sad so many of us on this thread but everyone seems super supportive so looking forward to this journey with you all!

chocolatecake08 · 18/01/2019 07:16

@Dianebz1 any change this morning? X

chocolatecake08 · 18/01/2019 07:28

@Random2468

Seems you had a long road after MC.

I had a missed miscarriage and had infections after wards and had to get my fallopian tube removed. They told me it was going to be hard to conceive. I got my BFP this week and i am 7 weeks, so dont give up you will get there❤️

The best advice is stop trying. I know its easier said than done but i found the more i tried and the more i kept testing etc it just never happened but when i stopped trying and just enjoyed the time with my partner and put it to the back of my head i fell pregnant❤️❤️

Dianebz1 · 18/01/2019 07:50

@chocolatecake08 im bleeding pretty heavy also got a few tiny clots coming away (sorry tmi) ..guess I'll have to keep trying 🤞🏻 hopefully it will happen soon! Iv got a big exam today in collage so i really can't take it off ..I feel so heavy and cramping xx

chocolatecake08 · 18/01/2019 07:55

@Dianebz1

Focus on your exam.

Have you had some pain killers x

Dianebz1 · 18/01/2019 08:08

@chocolatecake08 Iv just took some paracetamol so hopefully that will help, Iv no notion of going but I really need to do this ..I wouldn't be able to resist as it's not a written exam ..I'm doing my hnd to become a chef so it's a cooking exam xx

chocolatecake08 · 18/01/2019 08:17

@Dianebz1

Dianebz1 · 18/01/2019 08:20

Dianebz1 · 18/01/2019 08:22

chocolatecake08 · 18/01/2019 08:24

@Dianebz1

Yeah go have some rest tonight, but dont give up on the exam.

I feel abit crampy this morning and awfully sick. Xx

Dianebz1 · 18/01/2019 08:27

@chocolatecake08 take it easy then, don't do to much xx

Newbie21 · 18/01/2019 08:43

@chocolatecake08 thank you. And congratulations. I have my fingers crossed that you have a healthy pregnancy. I've only had a thyroid test which was fine and I seem to ovulate normally and have regular periods plus I have a DS (2 and a half) so my gynecologist is pretty convinced it is just bad luck and given my age (just turned 38) the journey will be a bit tougher. I fall pregnant relatively easily to date but it's staying pregnant that is my issue. I'll keep buggering on I suppose - I find cycle pre-fertile week the hardest.

Em39ma · 18/01/2019 08:46

@DIanebz1
You go smash your exam. Sorry it’s not your month, but I’m sure it will happen soon.
I’m lying off testing until I get my blood results, if that’s negative then not sure what I’m going to do.

chocolatecake08 · 18/01/2019 08:51

@Newbie21 thankyou ❤️❤️❤️

Your time will come, its good tests have came back fine though xx

Noopey · 18/01/2019 09:37

Hello lovely ladies.
So sorry to hear about all your losses. I have to admit I’ve not read the whole thread. Found it too hard. I’m currently going through my first miscarriage. Been bleeding for a week. The pain was so bad earlier in week I went to A&E then was in hospital on morphine for 3 days. Home now. Pains is manageable but I just want it all to finish.

I’m trying to keep my focus on other things. Which is almost impossible. But does include thinking about trying again. What’s the recommended wait? How long did it take for your cycles to get back to normal so you could try again? I just want to mentally prepare myself for the extra delay in trying to conceive.

chocolatecake08 · 18/01/2019 10:52

@Noopey

I had a missed miscarriage end of October, had Surgical management of miscarriage 2nd of November and bled for a few days, i then had a period in December. I decided to 'stop trying' and now i am pregnant and baby is doing fine. I was advised to try when i wanted if i felt fine emotionally and had stopped bleeding. Xx

Em39ma · 18/01/2019 11:01

@noopey
I was told best to have one normal period in between, but reall once you’ve stopped bleeding and ready in yourself

chocolatecake08 · 18/01/2019 11:05

@Noopey personally i waited until my period. I also had an infection so i felt i wanted to wait xx

Thumbellini · 18/01/2019 15:17

Hi everyone, I am a longtime lurker on this thread but have come on because I am in a horrific limbo situation. Been TTC 2 years, 2 CP last year and think I am about to have another Sad
I had a faint IC on Tuesday morning and a faint but clear line on a FRER, however today at lunchtime I took another FRER and the line while there was definitely fainter than Tues. Period due today. This doesn't look good does it? Tempted to use my private GP and see if they will give me progesterone but is this silly?? Sorry head is all over the place atm. This is so tough!!

Em39ma · 18/01/2019 15:37

@thumbellini
I not sure they would give a progesterone shot if they think it’s a chemical pregnancy.
They reason for chemical is that the quality isn’t good enough to be a full pregnancy.
I’m waiting on bloods as I’m 10 days late now, and still getting negative results.

chocolatecake08 · 18/01/2019 17:15

I started bleeding today😞xx

Frillyfarmer · 18/01/2019 17:31

@Noopey I'm in the same situation - miscarried this week and although I've had an ectopic it was under different circumstances, this is my first miscarriage and I'm utterly heart broken.

I think I'm going to keep chatting my temps as I have before and checking CM and go from there - the scan today confirmed everything has expelled naturally so it's just a case of getting back to it, I think that will be a distraction from the grief of it. Look after yourself xx
