Can someone please help me out?
Is this a positive pregnancy test or an evaporation line? Test taken an hour ago (didn’t check it straight away)
Praying for our Christmas miracle! 🙏

Hi 70sbaubles ... can u explain how ur chemical was? Like how many days late were u, were u testing positive before and after or what?

OP posts:
70sbaubles · 31/12/2018 18:10

I was 14 days late. Had a positive test, felt bloated, sick, the works. Sore breasts. Then nothing. One day I came on. From nowhere, and I couldn't believe it, I was pregnant as far as I was concerned. Then did a test was negative.

Is that normal for you Vickster? Mine is full blown period no doubting it.
Did u or anyone see what RoseBromley wrote that was deleted by MNHQ?
Obviously it’ll have to be worded differently but I’m curious to know what was wrong that had to be deleted???

TTCVickster · 01/01/2019 15:29

No it’s not but also this is very different to the last chemical. I have no idea what she wrote I didn’t get a notification for it.

Broodyaf · 01/01/2019 16:25

And do u think it’s a chemical or maybe just a v late period??

Felisha · 01/01/2019 17:33

Hi Girls,
Same thing happened to me in july,
I was soooo exited, had bfp just before our holiday heading home. I tested with frer and also cheap ones, they were all positive.
I was late couple days and then my period arrived, it was very heavy, but other than that same as always.
Until this day I'm not sure, but I think it was chemical pregnancy.

Thank good I didn't tell my husband straight away, he would be heartbroken.

I'm still not pregnant, we are on our cycle 9 now, but we are trying for 13 months, my periods wouldn't be regular.

Its very depressing.
Sorry for your losses. Confused

Felisha · 01/01/2019 17:35

I also felt sick for about 2 weeks when I had bfp and it all stopped and I had period next day

Broodyaf · 01/01/2019 17:47

Yep all my “pregnancy symptoms” disappeared yday. Maybe I was just imagining them. I don’t know. All I know is i am gutted, not pregnant and feel like giving up!! 21 cycles later I’m mentally exhausted

OP posts:
Felisha · 01/01/2019 18:01

I do get it Hun, I feel like giving up too, I hate my cycles cos they are so irregular 33-48 days.
Have u tried anything like different supplements or accupuncture. This month I tried fertility accupuncture, so far I had it twice.. I also started taking, magnesium, zinc and b6. Trying to relax more, having glass of vine and trying not to think about TTC.

Broodyaf · 01/01/2019 21:56

Your cycles are so long and mine so short. (20-21days!) I don’t seem to be lifting clear positives on OPKs so I stopped using those. I’ve had reflexology the last 2 cycles. I’ve heard positive responses about “pre-seed” so I ordered it today. So many people tell you to relax and it’ll happen naturally. I can never relax, not just about his, but anything. So it’s in my mind constantly to the point where dtd is a chore, I just want the end product from my fiancé. 🙈

OP posts:
Felisha · 01/01/2019 22:59

I know, it's not easy to relax especially when u want something that much. I can't stand all my friends asking me when are we having baby, I'm glad that all this thime I'm been saying that I don't want any or not in near future. Confused
Opks are never clear positive for me either.
IV been using Preeti seed nearly every time we dtd for last 4months, I don't see difference yet, but I bought it after reading lots of good reviews.
I'm trying to push hubby to dtd every 2nd day, I feel the same..that I'm doing it for the result most of the time. My cycles use to be around 30 days but since chemical it's all over the place. I feel like I have tried everything that I can and its hard not to give up. 😣

lucy2204 · 01/01/2019 23:15

Broodyaf · 01/01/2019 23:54

Thanks Lucy. I seen them online earlier and wasn’t sure. But after reading your comment I’ve decided why not. So I ordered them. Thanks for the advice.
This month I’m not stressing with OPKs or anything. Just dtd every other day with preseed and take those tablets and give it another 2 cycles and after that I may go to the GP or just give up! That’ll be 23 cycles x

lucy2204 · 02/01/2019 00:05

Good luck will have my fingers crossed for you!
We took these and done the "deed"every 3 days up untill cycle week (always make sure you have sex 3 days start leading up to the cycle as the eggs travels down it will make sure it has the sperm waiting for it gives it more chance they live for 72hrs🙈sorry for the TMI🙈) they can be quicker and then have sex every 2 days!,it's hard work and gets a little boring but it works 😍 pray you get your little blessing! You prob know all that tho 🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈x

Straight not start

Sshsecretenclosed · 02/01/2019 10:33

@Broodyaf what you said really resonated with me. I can't relax about anything so I really can't relax about TTC'ing!! I just want it to happen. I struggle to get my dh to take vitamins Confused I like the idea of taking vits magnesium, zinc and b6. Tried conceive plus last month for first time. No BFP and we have been trying a long while. At the moment I don't feel ready for medical intervention and getting super stressed but don't know if I'm hiding from my fears.

Broodyaf · 02/01/2019 15:04

@lucy2204 I don’t know EXACTLY when I’m ovulating as the OPKs never give me a proper clear positive and I wreck my head taking them and thinking “am I even ovulating at all?”
Because my cycles are so short (20-24days) I’m assuming I ovulate pretty quickly after AF finishes.

@sshsecretenclosed how long have youse been trying and what age are u? I don’t feel ready for medical intervention either but I’m 36 so maybe my bioliogical clock is telling me otherwise!
They say under 35 be trying for 1 year before going to GP, over 35 it’s after 6 months. This will be our 22nd cycle 😫

Does anyone else ever get sooo down and think “maybe I’m just not meant to be a mum” even thou I’m sure we’ve all read endless stories about couples trying for far longer than us go on to have multiple babies! Aaaaahhh it’s just so stressful and hard and is taking over my life!

glutten4punishment · 02/01/2019 15:26

@Broodyaf - just came across this thread. Sorry you've not had the results you've wanted.

I felt I should say something when I read how short your cycles are. This was me when TTC no.2. Found out I was ovulating but not strong enough to hold a pregnancy as my luteal phase was too short. Just wondering if this might be the same for you. It's very easily corrected so felt I should mention it just in case.

Broodyaf · 02/01/2019 18:19

@glutten4punishment thank you so much for your comment.
Can you go into a wee bit a detail please about what they done to rectify it? We’re u TTC for a while before u went to GP? X

OP posts:
glutten4punishment · 02/01/2019 21:09

We were trying for a little while, not too long, but as I was fortunate to fall pregnant almost immediately with my first (and I had faultless 28 day cycles then) I knew something wasn't right when TTC no.2. My cycles changed to only about 24/25 days after I had DC1 after being so regular for all my life.

I decided to track them. I was ovulating but a bit later than normal (around day 17/18) and then AF would arrive a week later. So 1) my ovulation wasn't strong and 2) my luteal phase wasn't long enough - should be 12-14 days at least.

We opted to pay to see a gynaecologist privately who checked my progesterone levels and declared there was not a chance of me getting pregnant as prog levels were crap. (Hormone levels were clearly put off balance after DC1!)

To 'fix' this, I was offered progesterone suppositories or Clomid. The first the easier option with few side effects but can take time. The second has a fair few side effects, high risk of multiples but has a higher success rate.

I opted for Clomid and fell pregnant the first month. It wasn't pleasant side effects wise but obviously worth it.
