Darkest opk I've ever had 10dpo?

Hi ladies. So on the 7th and 8th I had these opks pictured they're positive right? Anyway so I assumed I ovulated on the 9th or 10th and last night I had one opk left and thought what the hell.... And it was ridiculously dark. Darkest opk I've ever seen. It was late and I didn't have my phone and fell asleep super quick so no picture 🙁 but I have no hpts. Should I buy one? How can I have positive opks then a super dark one this long after?

If its 10 days PO maybe you are pregnant? Take a pregnancy test.

I have read that an opk can be really dark if your pregnant, guess I'm going out to buy a hpt. Really don't want to get my hopes up incase it's bfn but I'm actually quite shocked how dark it was, I've only ever had light or same as the control. And it came up pretty much straight away. Only thing I've really felt lately is an achy back not like my before af back pain because that's usually around the middle but this pain feels different and it's lower back.

Hi @Donnawoo09 sorry if this doesn't help but I had the exact same thing - AF turned up the day after. It's normal to get a big surge the day before AF! Fx this is pg for you - if it is and the OPK is that dark, you should get a positive FRER straight away x

Thanks, I know I shouldn't get my hopes up. It could be anything. Maybe the other tests might not have been positive and this is my actual positive and maybe I'm going to ovulate 🤷‍♀️ but I'll test anyway and we shall see

Hi @Donnawoo09 I'm confused.... I was on a thread you started 2 weeks ago where you were taking pregnancy tests and you were on cd28? If that's the case I assume that you would naturally be ovulating now??

I made a thread on the 12th about the positive opks. Before that I had done pregnancy tests which were obviously Evap lines because I wasnt pregnant. But with having pcos I really have no way of knowing what's going on with my body after the Evap lines I started doing opks and got the positives on the 7th and 8th of this month. Sorry to confuse you, but my body confuses me on a daily basis ☹️ maybe just constant hopeful thinking x

Oh and that was Cd28, my last period was the 8th of October and nothing since. But I can go months in between periods anyway so I can ovulate at any time. Which by the tests I'm assuming was the 9th or 10th.

God, how confusing for you! Definitely get a preg test in that case. Fingers crossed, let us know! X

I got one, I'll do it in the morning. Not getting my hopes up though, if its negative then maybe I'm gonna ovulate 🤷‍♀️ and if I am then I better tell hubby to get ready for round two of baby making 😂 ah well, I don't think he'll mind 😁 x

Congrats! I had bad period-type pain at the start of my first pregnancy. Scared me so much but she's 2.5years old now so I guess it was all fine 😁

I had back ache and cramps for a few weeks at the start of both of my pregnancies and my son is 2.5yo and I'm currently 29 weeks. Congratulations xxx

I started a thread about this yesterday as I didn't see this one- I had the same last night at 15dpo, two very strong positive opks, taking a preg test tonight! Had cramping for the past few days as well! Congrats to you and I'm although I'm trying not to read too much into it, I really hope I get the same result!

Oooooh do a test and let us know 🤗 that's what had me wondering. I had never seen an opk that dark in my life. And I've done alot of them lol hopefully not just a surge before your af turns up! Fingers crossed for you hugs

Yeah someone told me on my thread yesterday that it could just be surge before AF, so I'm not too sure. Mine were very dark although the control was very light (hadn't weed that long before/between them), think they were darker than the one I had at ovulation! My shopping delivery is coming in the next hour, then I'll test!

18 MONTHS AND I'VE FINALLY GOT MY BFP!
The second line started coming up after a minute and I started shaking! Wanted to tell DH in a special way but I literally walked in in shock and told him! I'm getting some clearblue tests tomorrow to make sure. It still hasn't really sunk in yet!
