Hi ladies. So on the 7th and 8th I had these opks pictured they're positive right? Anyway so I assumed I ovulated on the 9th or 10th and last night I had one opk left and thought what the hell.... And it was ridiculously dark. Darkest opk I've ever seen. It was late and I didn't have my phone and fell asleep super quick so no picture 🙁 but I have no hpts. Should I buy one? How can I have positive opks then a super dark one this long after?

Well I used the clearblue dual hormone ov tests for the second month running, last and we DTD the day before peak (didn't know it was the day before, just got lucky), on peak and the day after, so 2 days before ovulation and ov day itself. DH started going to the gym from previously being quite sedentary- I hear this can increase sperm count! I was eating quite a lot of protein and working out 3x a week. My cycles had been alternating between 28 day and longer ones recently which I heard can mean one ovary is 'lazy', and this was a 28 day one with ovulation on day 14 so I would've ovulated from my good one. I went to 4 social occasions involving alcohol which is usually how many I have in a year Blush but maybe that relaxed me? There are loads of factors overall that have changed over the 18 months including weight loss and having a supposedly long expired implant removed but I think that's everything from this cycle specifically :)

I don't know why it says 'last' after running, I was obviously going to say something about last month but said it lower down instead Grin

@Triskaidekaphilia sounds like you hit the nail on the head with timing and it all did the trick! I am going to give exercise a go in Jan if this one is another bfn. Good luck with your pregnancy hun. Hope it all runs smoothly. X

Yeah I think it was mostly down to timing! I hope so too, I'm already a bit anxious about the cramping I'm having but trying to stay positive and realistic at the same time!
