Can I have a hand hold please?...AF 2 days ‘late’

I’ve been ttc 2.5 years. We have confirmed MFI. In the process of applying for IVF. Have sacked off opks and temping and trying just to enjoy sex before IVF starts but with a focus around the essential week as it were. According to FF AF is 2 days ‘late’ now I could have ovulated late causing a lengthy cycle. If I ovulated around the same time as I do normally I would be around 14dpo ish. Normally I would be spotting by now with first day of AF on CD29. Its CD31 with no spotting and white CM. I keep getting a crampy type feeling like AF will come but it hasn’t yet. And my boobs hurt.

I need a hand hold not to get my hopes up or excited. I don’t want to test and get my hopes up in case it is just a case of late ovulation until I am officially late like CD36 or something. My DH is working away for a while so I’m in this on my own as I don’t want to get his hopes up either.

Please hold my hand??!

Test not text although if it's positive a text before feb is probably a good plan...

TEST!!! I know how horrible the negatives are, been there, but if this has never happened before it could well be your month. Got everything crossed for you!

I’m thinking if no AF I’ll test Friday morning. Then I would definitely be a decent amount of late even if I did ovulate late if you see what I mean?

Hi OP, I ovulated late on my last cycle. I got my positive two weeks after I "should" have been late. I reached a point where I didn't think I was and just did the last test because DP said rule it out before we see the doctor for testing.

It turns out I ovulated 3 weeks late, because when I took the test, it was only 9 DPO.

How long do you think I should wait @tokenginger? FF reckons I ovulated on 4th November but then last lot of egg white Cm was 6th November? 🤷‍♀️

I personally wouldn't be able to hold off testing but if you get a negative, I'd say don't count yourself out too soon as it's possible your ovulation could have been out. Xx

I think I’m going to wait until Friday if no show. That way if I did ovulate on 6th (last day of ewcm) it would put me at 16dpo or if I did ovulate as ‘normal’ 18dpo in which case if I am pregnant it should show up by then. Does this sound reasonable? I’m trying not to go out if my mind. Still very crampy but not like AF cramps.

If you ovulated on the 6th you should get an accurate result either way now.

Nothing this morning. No spotting but also no Cm just dry. I don’t think this is a good sign. I see lots of people increase in Cm before BFP. Think this just could be some cruel trick my body is playing on me

Good luck! I wouldn't be able to wait. Do you wear a heart rate fitbit or anything? Often your resting heart rate can be a giveaway

@meoldchina I don’t wear a Fitbit al the time so I don’t think it would be accurate. I’ll have to stick to frantically checking my pants instead! 🙈

I wouldn't worry about cm too much 😉 I had soooo much the other day during my tww and I thought to myself "YES, that's a good sign" but then AF arrived haha.

And when I was pregnant I didn't notice any more cm this early either 😊

Ignore the CM!

I had a BFP and CM by the bloody bucket load earlier this year. I had an early miscarriage at 5/6 weeks.

I got another BFP on my next cycle and nada. Dry as a bone, I’m now 31 weeks and distinctly whale like in size.

When I was pregnant I had hardly any cm early on.. when AF due I leak like a broken tap for two days before. FX for you xx

Caved this morning and tested and a BFN. Gutted. It’s not looking good is it? Still no sign of period 😫

Is your cycle usually regular?

Yep pretty regular. Usually around 29 days. Sometimes up to 30. Longest 31 but only once in two years. Now CD35.

What did you use to test? FRER or regular test?
