@cupcakesandglitter I'm sorry 🙁 how many days was this cycle?

@CookieWaffle pretend you have a headache or migraine (if you get those) and say you don't want to get dehydrated because it'll get worse if you drink alcohol? If it'll all be the same people every time, the diet suggestion might be better.

@FlapJackered don't poas! Stay strong. What DPO are you? This thread is changing so fast, I can't keep track.

cupcakesandglitter · 27/11/2018 12:09

Thankyou @MrsAW2018 @SophiePie @FlapJackered doctor says nothing to worry about and just to wait for my scan 🙄 @KatBeCool 31 days - it's not the length of my cycle that's worried me, it's the fact I'm only 5 DPO x

@cupcakesandglitter sorry af has arrived so early 😞 I thought the luteal phase didn’t change by more than a day or so, so did your doctor explain what could cause it?

cupcakesandglitter · 27/11/2018 12:34

Nothing at all @stormtrooperjulian I did say to him my LP is usually 14 days, this time it's five but he said it can change and just to wait for the scan. I'm not sure I'm convinced but at the same time I literally can't do anything right now x

@cupcakesandglitter that's good! Maybe you're body geared up to ovulate but didn't for some reason this cycle? Apparently it happens to everyone at least once a year?
Hopefully your doc will have some answers when you see him/her. I hope your feeling ok about it. X

Thanks @KatBeCool 10dpo now and the struggle is real to not poas! DH said he would hide the tests but left for work and has forgotten. As long as I get past fmu I think I am safe, as I only have first response ones and cb digital which I don't want to waste on diluted pee! I do have a one step one, but I once got a false positive from one of them so don't want to go through that heartbreak again! I might just chuck it now before I get that desperate!
Feeling seriously nauseous like I might throw up but looking back at charts before I have marked nausea every cycle.
How are you doing? What cd are you on now?

CookieWaffle · 27/11/2018 12:43

@cupcakesandglitter if it helps I had a freak cycle in Sept-Oct where my cycle was 23 days instead of the usual 27-28. I totally freaked out and was thinking that's it, it's the menopause coming. Next month was perfectly fine and then this month happened. May not be anything wrong xxx

Thanks ladies for the help, I knew you'd come up with something. @FlapJackered I love how you have all this planned out Grin One of the parties is a work one and I don't really want the biggest gossip (my boss) to know!

DayDreamer1707 · 27/11/2018 13:12

@FlapJackered stay strong and testing day will soon be here! I'm dreading the next couple of weeks. Least you know your body is in some sort of routine, hopefully the nausea won't pass which could then be a good sign. Not that I want you to feel sick 😂

@cupcakesandglitter I hope your doctor and scan help you figure things out.

@CookieWaffle I would do the pretend your drinking thing at your works do. Nothing worse than everyone questioning you, especially if they will be looking for something to gossip about x

SullyWifey · 27/11/2018 13:34

Ladies on here who have had CP...2 positive tests in as many days but just went to loo and lots of brown tinted discharge. If this normal? Or is this how chemical pregnancy starts?

Was due AF this Thursday. Worried.

MrsEG · 27/11/2018 13:41

Hi @SullyWifey - please try not to worry. I had an early MC at 4+5 (I didn’t get a positive til my missed period) and it started all at once, literally woken with cramp/pain and gush of red blood. Bright red blood and small clots from then on. Brown discharge before you have missed your period could just be implantation. FX for you.

SullyWifey · 27/11/2018 13:55

@MrsEG thanks darling. God. Nervous now. Starting to wish I never tested early! I though you only got a positive after implantation. But ok I'll try and not worry xxxx

purplefig · 27/11/2018 14:23

@Sullywifey I've just done a bit of digging and it seems like this is a fairly common occurance e.g. "In the early weeks of pregnancy, a little spotting or bleeding is very common. As many as one mum-to-be in four with a continuing pregnancy has some sort of bleeding in the first trimester"

^ that link says that if it was to signal a MC you'd like have stomach cramps and heavier bleeding too.

It's understandable you are anxious and worried though - why don't you call your drs? xx

DayDreamer1707 · 27/11/2018 14:34

@SullyWifey I can agree with @purplefig. I had spotting/ pinkish brownish discharge after DTD. I didn't know I was pregnant at the time and thought it was just AF but then I did a test a few days later and had a BFP. Unfortunately that pregnancy did end in MC but nothing related to the early spotting x

MrsEG · 27/11/2018 14:34

@SullyWifey No worries, and try to relax - it it was a MC it really is a lot of bleeding not just discharge. When I first went to the hospital they did say that a little blood in the early weeks is perfectly normal too, and implant bleeds can happen for a few days as your body can be expelling old blood. If you get any cramps or red blood, see the Dr. But I think you will be fine :)

FlapJackered · 27/11/2018 14:48

@SullyWifey as the others said I am sure it's nothing and very normal in early pregnancy. ❤️

@DayDreamer1707 @KatBeCool
I got the one step pg test out to use (idiot!) and then decided to just read the amazon reviews again - saw all the reviews of false positives and have now done this. Feeling strong and slightly insane!! Losing the plot 😂🙈

DayDreamer1707 · 27/11/2018 14:52

@FlapJackered 😂😂😂 that's brilliant!!! I was going to suggest something like this but you clearly didn't need that haha. You have done the right thing. Try and hold out as long as you can, sending sickness feels and baby dust 😋

sunshine1987 · 27/11/2018 15:02

@sullywifey I wished I hadn’t tested early too, adds a different level of anxiety I think. I’ve read spotting and bleeding in early pregnancy is normal, if it’s red and a lot that’s the part that should be a worry x

@cupcakesandglitter I hope you’re ok x

sunshine1987 · 27/11/2018 15:07

@cookiewaffle I’m going out for dinner with my girls Saturday and meant to be out drinking after. Luckily they know I’m trying so have said I’m on a health kick this cycle to throw everything at it, they seemed to buy that. Now to get through Christmas and New Year 🙈

MrsEG · 27/11/2018 15:18

@FlapJackered Stay strong!! Wait til AF is due then treat yourself to a FRER!

MrsEG · 27/11/2018 15:19

@cookiewaffle @sunshine1987 Your friends might quietly guess anyway - I knew a friend of mine was pregnant years ago when she came out one night as her boobs were ginormous!! I didn’t say anything though ;)

sunshine1987 · 27/11/2018 15:26

@mrseg oh yeah they’ll know as soon as I’m there in front of them Saturday lol, but this way I’m giving them a “I’m not saying anything so let’s pretend” x

SullyWifey · 27/11/2018 15:44

@sunshine1987 @FlapJackered @purplefig @DayDreamer1707 @MrsEG

Thanks ladies. I do have these horrid cramps and back ache too, but I was thinking that must be normal. Gosh it's so early it really could go either way and there's not much I can do about it. So I just got to ride it out haven't I.

Problem is I've never been PG before so I've got no bloody idea!

Why didn't I follow my own advice about not test early!! Feel like I've turned my TTC anxiety into early pregnancy anxiety! I can never win!

Read that 75% of pregnancy end on CP. that's soo high!!

Thanks for always being there girls. Don't know how i ever coped before you! Xx

purplefig · 27/11/2018 15:49

@SullyWifey how many DPO are you? I think that stat is for before you would get a positive result on a pregnancy test.

sunshine1987 · 27/11/2018 15:53

@sullywifey I keep telling myself that today I’m pregnant, I don’t have control over anything else so take each day as it comes. AF was due for me today and all day I have been dreading going to the toilet and I assume i’ll keep on worrying until 12 weeks can and beyond xx

CookieWaffle · 27/11/2018 15:54

@sunshine1987 yeah they might end up guessing!

Regarding the CPs, I've had 2 (maybe 3) and although it really hurt, alot of tears were shed, I'm kinda glad I tested early. It gave me hope that there's a chance it happened. And most of all I like to know what my body is up to. So I'm glad to say I had 8 months with 2 possibles rather than 8 months of nothing. I understand not everyone's the same.

sunshine1987 · 27/11/2018 15:57

Also @sullywifey if this is what you read “A chemical pregnancy is believed to affect as many as 75 percent of pregnancies that end in miscarriage.” aren’t they saying that 75% of miscarriages are CP rather than 75% of pregnancies are a CP? x
