Too early to test?

Just that really, when is too early to take a pregnancy test?

I'm 8DPO and have started to get aches and pains in the bottom of my back and boobs. AF is due on Sunday and these aren't normally symptoms. My usual terrible skin hasn't arrived either

I'm driving myself mad waiting! This is exactly 1 year since we started TTC and I'm letting my imagination take over hoping we get a 1 year BFP surprise.

I had the most textbook month, positive OPKs (I never get them), temp rise at the right time, CM change, ovulation pain and DTD before, during and after.

Tell me I'm not the only one hating this two week wait?!

@dreamer26 possibly yeah. I'll see how I feel in the morning 😊
The way i see it, youre torturing yourself every day not testing and sometime you just need to find out so you can either move onto the next month and relax or find out you're PG and it all gets real! But that's just me.
Good luck though I'll post an update if I test again x

@WishingonaStar77 I think your absolutely right! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you and I'll update you when I do mine as well x

Tests arent easy for me to come by.. I dont think I've ever seen a FRER in the store.. I may have to go a pharmacy..
The plus side is that I've not developed a poas addiction.
I do wanna take a test at 12/13 DPO.
I have cramps and back ache and slight breast pain now.
Last month I didn't feel any pain this late after ovulation...

@dreamer, the cramps and bleeding sounds promising.
Fx for your test tomorrow. Grin

WishingonaStar77 · 12/11/2018 21:55

@dreamer26 they sell them in boots and superdrug (on offer ATM 2 for £8.49)
Make sure you get the one that says 'early response test 6 days early'. There are 2 first response tests but one is not the ultra sensitive on the early response one is x

Thanks @XxTaeexP I think I'll be doing my test Thursday but will be buying one tomorrow. I hope I have good news to share.

@WishingonaStar77 thanks for the heads up I'll definitely head to boots first. I may need to make sure I get the right thing tomorrow with a quick post.

BFN as expected but at least I can move on. Fingers crossed for the rest of you lovely ladies xx

dreamer26 · 13/11/2018 08:28

@LondonKez sorry to hear that, definitely give yourself time to relax and ready to start again next month! I hope it happens soon for you. X

WishingonaStar77 · 13/11/2018 10:21

Update.. well it's not a BFN but it's not a convincing BFP either. Line still as faint as before and would have expected darker by now.
Guessing it's a chemical again or just way too early still. Going to wait until my AF due date now.
Good luck girls x

dreamer26 · 13/11/2018 11:21

Hi @WishingonaStar77 what is a chemical? Hope AF doesn't come for you. I'm yet to do my test x

WishingonaStar77 · 13/11/2018 12:19

@dreamer26 it's a chemical pregnancy. Means it shows as positive on the test but never reaches past about 5 weeks so not visible on a scan. I think about 50% of women have these but as we are not always madly peeing on sticks before our period most women don't know!
Good luck x

dreamer26 · 13/11/2018 16:07

@WishingonaStar77 thank you for explaining that I was completely unaware of it.

I've bought my tests today but haven't done it yet. I've had some more brown blood today but also had some streaks of red blood.
I'm starting to think maybe I'm not pregnant afternoon and that I've just got my hopes up too quickly. Might do a test tomorrow morning instead of waiting till Thursday!
