Hey everyone! Anyone who would like to join me and share feelings thus cycle? I'm 29, second month of TTC our second baby. All new to this tracking but trying to track my temps and doing OPK. I'm on a CD4. Anyone who would like to join me on the journey? Fingers crossed this is our lucky month! 😍

Hi Martina2311! Hope the party went well and your son enjoyed it!

Not sure how many dpo I am... how do you know exactly when you ovulate? I've been charting my bbt and also checking cm. I definately did have EGCM on Wednesday the night I also got my positive opk. And then had EGCM up until yesterday. So not sureConfused might only be 1pdo?

Martina2311 · 25/11/2018 17:05

@Farhana170 how were your temps since that Wednesday? Did you notice any temp raise? With a positive Opk you could have ovulated on Thursday but also on Friday.

Well I clearly don't take my own advice. I tested this afternoon (not even with a FMU) when AF is due on Thursday & I got a BFN. I'm devastated but trying not to lose hope. Still lots & lots of twinges. FFS I really wish I hadn't tested now.

Farhana170 · 25/11/2018 18:30

@Martina2311 when I started temping from around the 29th October temp was around 36.60s mark until af started on 9th Nov... where temp drops as you can see from my pic I've attached. I've been using the flo app to log everything. When i logged a positive opk on Wednesday, my predicted ovulation changed from Saturday to Thursday (the next day after the opk test) I'm not sure how accurate these apps are?

@Farhana170 hmmm...I am not a temp tracking expert yet as I only started tracking recently too. But I think from the chart it makes sense that the day after your OPK you ovulated and a raise followed the next day as a confirmation. I am not using this app but I think that usually every time that you enter a positive opk, it reschedules the ovulation, especially if it also takes into consideration the temperature raise after the opk. I use Fertility Friend charts and find them very useful as they pinpoint your ovulation depending on more factors-temp, cm patern, opk..and gives you useful info. Maybe try it out. Enter all your temps and as much info as you can and see if it says a similar thing as your app. Seams like you should be 3DPO. Look at my chart, just to get the idea what the Fertility Friend looks like.

Hello everyone!!

Sorry to jump in mid conversation.

I’m 23 and I had my implant removed on Wednesday and finished my period on Thursday. We’ve began TTC for our first baby, my cycles are around 31 days and according to my calendar I should be ovulating between 27th-4th December so fingers crossed! I’m not one for charting extensively as I don’t have the time so I’m roughly judging from my app but I suppose if it’s going to happen, it will!

Halo x

Farhana170 · 25/11/2018 22:11

Thanks martina2311 will defo try fertility friend.

Good luck @flosssy

Martina2311 · 25/11/2018 22:33

@happytobemrsg I know that feeling. Hate getting those negatives and its hard to think positive that it was maybe just too early. Every time I got a negative last month, it put me down a lot. But I couldnt help it. Remember you are not out until AF shows up and there is still plenty of time. I'm quite curious how long I will last without testing this month. Will be thinking of you! Fingers and toes crossed ❤

Welcome @flosssy and good luck for this month! I know that charting can be a little time consuming and if you are not in any rush, then you can just wait and see what happens :) however, if you would like to fall pregnant asap, I recommend at least a few ovulation tests on the first cycles as the apps are not as acurate. You may be having your ovulation earlier/later than your app says and having an idea where your fertaile window is, could really increase your chances. But its all about what works for you :)

Farhana170 · 26/11/2018 08:10

@Martina2311, yup after entering all my data and temp today fertility friend has predicted my ovulation to have been on Thursday. Which means i am 4dpo today!

Martina2311 · 26/11/2018 10:00

@Farhana170 Perfect! I find the Fertility Friend good. Before I was editing down my temps in my app and also on a paper chart but found the Fertility Friend really easy and clear. Also the info you get to your mail is useful. :) 2WW here we go! No symptomps here whatsoever. Only sore boobs and runny nose 🙈

Martina2311 · 26/11/2018 10:01

Sorry for the typo: writing down not editing

flosssy · 26/11/2018 10:45

@martina2311 thank you! I’m not concerned about ASAP really but I know roughly when I ovulate without using the app as I usually get an ache in one side! We’ve taken to dtd most days so hopefully should cover all bases should it come early!!

Hi ladies, just wanted to check in and say that at 11DPO and cycle 11 I got my BFP this morning!! I'm so excited!! Just hope it's a sticky one fingers crossed xxx

Martina2311 · 26/11/2018 13:36

Aaah that's amazing news @SullyWifey!! Congratulations, I am so happy for you. 🤗❤ Seams like this thread is starting to be a lucky one! 😊

Did you have any other symptoms except the cold?

OP posts:
SullyWifey · 26/11/2018 13:41

Thank you darling! Nope nothing else apart from my boobs started really hurting last night which they never hurt that much. It's what made me do a test!!

So not sure if it's just a coincidence or what but the only thing I did different this month was use Pre-seed! Crazy if it really help but so hard to know right!!

I really hope this continues being a lucky one for everyone xxx

Bitsandboobs · 26/11/2018 13:50

Ah @sullywifey that's awesome!! So so pleased for you!!

Farhana170 · 26/11/2018 14:33

@sullywifey congratulations! So happy to hear! I hope the rest of us get our BFP too!!!

Martina2311 · 26/11/2018 18:28

@SullyWifey oh that's a bit reassuring as usually everyone talks about having so many symptoms. I feel literally nothing apart from my runny nose, two very bad sleepless nights and my boobs. But they get sensitive every cycle anyways. Do yours usually hurt but this time just more on that one day? Or not at all?

I also checked my CM today and (sorry for tmi) it was a strange stretchy consistency and more globs of it. I'm trying to think if I had the same last month. Think that CM and cervix you can hardly use as an indicator of anything unless it's a clear EW. :/

OP posts:
SullyWifey · 26/11/2018 18:44

@Martina2311 I know right the month I didn't do any symptom spotting!

They usually only hurt the very night before AF. And this is about 4 days early. So that's what made me think! Going to do another test in a couple of days just to make sure haha. God this is so strange. Never been pregnant before!!!xxxx

Farhana170 · 26/11/2018 21:21

Same, i have absolutely no symptoms at all... could it be...?

Martina2311 · 27/11/2018 11:11

@Farhana170 @SullyWifey aaah I wish no symptoms would be a symptom! Hahaha
7DPO here..CD30. Had a good sleep and some vivid dreams. Temps still up. I am curious how long I will manage to wait before testing. I guess because my bbs are hurting as usual before AF and because I am quite far in the cycle, I may just wait the few days at least if AF just shows up. If she does, it should be probably by the end of the week. I'm doing lots of overtime these days so I'm actually quitedistracted, which is good in a way.

OP posts:
Farhana170 · 27/11/2018 14:48

I think the next thing to look out for is an implantation dip (BBT)... it occurs around 7 - 8dpo? Next best sign I think. @martina2311 that could be tomorrow for you? N then expect it go to go back up again the day after?

Martina2311 · 27/11/2018 19:05

@Farhana170 I know, I've read about the dip before but seams like it doesn't always happen. When it does, then it's more likely that you are pregnant. But doesn't guarantee. I hate all these maybes and possibilities and sometimes...😄

OP posts:
Farhana170 · 27/11/2018 19:23

@martina2311 Yh i agree I looked into it more and it says some people get the dip even if they aren't pregnant:(
Oh well back to the 2ww then I guess lol
