Thought I'd start a thread for TTC Baby no.2 as I can't find any active ones 😔.

I'll start -

CD1 - Af showed her ugly face today.
Cycle 2 of TTC after a miscarriage in September 😔.
I have a DS who is one on Saturday, so the mix or emotions from that, the fact I'm not pregnant & AF is a little over whelming this week 😂

Hi ladies, can I join you please? I'm 35 and have been TTC no.2 for 5mnths. DS is now 2yo and it only took 3 cycles so I'm hoping it's just a case of persevering! I'm using Clue app to track my cycles and have recently started using OPK's (How does everyone use them, continually test through month or just around fertile window?) Currently on 2ww but I've had cramps the last few days. Also wondered if anyone else had a short luteal phase?

Should also add I'm trying to not get stressed and isn't it hard finding energy to DTD with a toddler?!

Hi all, it’s been a bit quiet in here for a few days, hope you’re all doing ok. Naughty @Beckie for testing early 😂, (we all do it).

I’m really unsure what my cycle is doing this month, I’m now on CD22, but have no clue if I’ve ovulated yet or not. I haven’t had any ewcm to speak of yet this cycle, but we have DTD every 2-3 days since CD9 (getting hard to keep the momentum going now, my sex drive isn’t really that good atm).

When we were TTC DD1 the cycle that I didn’t notice any ewcm and didn’t get ovulation pains was the one I got pregnant, so I’m trying to stay optimistic. I’m just hoping it’s not cus I’m gonna have a super long cycle due to weaning. I’ve never had a cycle longer than 35 days in my life.

Let’s hope I have ovulated already because I don’t know if I can keep trying to DTD all month like this.

Im 7 dpo, not having any symtoms, so dnt think im preg. 😒

@kaye03 with DD I had no symptoms at all, every other cycle I was convinced I was pregnant, that cycle I was certain I wasn’t.

You just never know, try and keep your mind occupied with something else, you’re half way to knowing either way.

What’s everyone getting their 1st DC for Christmas. DD is 14 months and we’re considering some megablocks, anyone want to recommend any great toys for this age?

@Doomkitty I was the same with the ovulation symptoms being weaker the month we conceived DD. Really doubted I would be and didn’t test until I was about 8 weeks gone.

I think we will get her a little toy Dyson because she is obsessed with hoovering and follows me round when I’m doing it, she also loves playing with the broom and dustpan and brush so something so she can ‘clean’ with me? It was her first birthday last weekend and she was utterly spoilt rotten by everyone so I want to try and not go too mad...I have done her a book advent calendar, and my dad picked her up the Disney book advent calendar from Aldi so she will have plenty of stuff to read!

DD has been so poorly for the first time ever, she’s had hand, foot and mouth I think from her birthday party 😣 so as a result has basically stopped eating and is constantly breastfeeding. Such an annoying set back because I was starting to get there weaning her off. Ok dumb question - I had a period last week, will breastfeeding this much stop me ovulating now?

Aww no @Hazandduck, that’s gutting, hopefully she’s all better in time for Christmas. DD isn’t walking yet so a dyson probably wouldn’t do her.

Gutted about you having already done a book advent, I sell them as I’m an usborne rep. I have loads left to get sold by this weekend and I don’t think I’m gonna make it.

I’m not sure what will happen with your cycles with the breastfeeding, my periods came back at 5 months when I was still ebf but I’m pretty certain were anovulatory as we’ve not conceived yet.

Hi all, so in a bizzare turn of events, I’ve finally got some ewcm today at CD24 (after BDing all month). I just hope we manage to DTD again over the next couple of days.

If I don’t conceive this cycle it’s gonna be a mega long one.

Ladies has anyone experience implantation bleeding?

If so, can you describe it to me please ❤️

When i had it previously it was just 2 drops on a pad, dark brown in colour.

Really weird, so at 10:30, when i wiped there was pink blood & tummy cramps. Since after 12:00 there hasnt been any more bleeding, tummy cramps have stopped aswell. Maybe it was just a sign that af is approaching?

@kaye I had that last month, it stopped for 4 days then af arrived.

Was convinced it was implantation bleeding, but no it wasn’t meant to be.

@Kaye I have had cramps today...CD 28..so thinking I'm out this month. Also 11dpo so hopefully luteal phase is getting longer. What OPK's does everyone use? Are the cheap Amazon ones any good?

Weird i had the same thing this morning, cramping, 10:00am had brown bleeding when i wiped. Then from 12:00 onwards nothing.
Secretly brought first response preg test, was neg.
Af must just be slowly coming properly

AF has most definitely arrived here!

Havent had anything today when i wiped. Will see next week if i get any more bleeding. If af shows late

I have been having what feels like ovulation pains all weekend. Got a second line on the opk on Friday, but it wasn’t dark enough that I’d class it as +ve. My ewcm has now dried up and opks have gone back to no second line at all.

I would say if I’m going to ovulate this month I’ve already done so, but pains are still coming and going.

Don’t know what to expect now, am I in the tww or not?

This sucks, my body is never predictable.

I dont know whats going on with this month. Had no bleeding all day today, now got brown blood on pad.

Hi all I have been around but not posting. CD16 and waiting to O. I'm usually around 17-20 so doing OPKs and waiting which is stressing me out (holding my wee is never easy) last month was a weirdly short cycle for me so don't know what's going on. I got referred for an ultrasound for heavy periods I don't get told results till next week but the sonographer asked if I had a history of PCOS. I don't and didn't have trouble conceiving last time so that was weird!

Add me to the AF returning on DC 1st birthday club, except mine is now just 2 and we didn't TTC until now!

Moncwf. Not sure if its light af or not. Had brown bleeding again today, its not like usual af, which is normally heavy & bright red.
Was a little bit on pad. Did preg test on saturday, was negative. Bleeding started on friday. Trying to wait a few more days, to do another preg test.

I had my BFP last Thursday, but after my miscarriage in September I'm struggling coming to terms with the fact I'm pregnant & that this is a viable pregnancy. I just keep thinking something is going to go wrong 😔. I don't know if I should ring my midwife and ask for hcg test or scan? I don't know if they do that where I live.

Feel like crying. Really thought what i had was implantation bleeding. I really tried not to but couldnt help get excited deep down.

@Meghan if you’ve had a history of miscarriage they will often offer an early “reassurance scan”, my sister had one with hers.

@Kaye I’m really sorry to hear this. I was the same last month. Chin up, only a couple weeks and you can try again. Stay positive hun 😘
