Hi ladies
Getting really inpatient now because AF was due on Thursday but only 13dpo at the moment.. I have done a few tests but all BFN.. is AF coming or am I pregnant
I just want to know either way 😬

I will join you AF was due yesterday or Saturday but no show I did a test on Friday but BFN but have been away for the weekend I'm travelling home now so will test again tomorrow morning it's annoying not knowing what's going on isn't it

Hi, can I join? I'm not quite in the same boat - AF not due until 3rd but I've been having weird feelings since 3/4 DPO - cramps/back pain/pains down my legs/sore boobs especially nipples- but negative test so far (I caved and did a cheapy).

We're TTC our first and this is month 5 (6 if you include the first month where we just didn't take any precautions).

I've not felt like this in previous months but really trying not to get my hopes up only for it to be a case of serious PMS.

It really is frustrating having to wait!!

Hello! Apologies for jumping on the bandwagon but desperate to join a TTC Thread..
Problem is I just don't know what any of the abbreviations are Anyone mind doing a little breakdown for Me please?
We're on our 3rd Month TTC for DC Number 2!

@Rightnow1245 my DS is 9 now so no longer a baby anymore do you have any other kids and I've been having cramps and backache on and off since Friday and yesterday I had quite a fair amount of clear CM every time I went to the toilet but not so much today do you have any symptoms

ContadoraExplorer welcome how many DPO does that make you? That’s good you are having symptoms that you haven’t had before! Are you using opk? Yeah it’s so frustrating! When will you test next? Or will you wait for a missed period

Opk - ovulation prediction kits
AF - anti flow (period)
Cm - Cervical mucus
BFP- big fat positive ( pregnancy test)
BNP- big fat negative
DTD -doing the deed (sex)
CD - cycle day
Dpo- days past ovulation
Ds- darling son
DD- darling daughter
DC- darling child
Can’t think of anymore lol

waitingforbaby2 A little boys who’s 14months 😊 I’m still breastfeeding so that might be messing up my cycles 🤔 yeah I have got a few! I’ve had a headache on off for about a week now also lots of cramps over the weekend but they have gone now! Also lots of CM but I don’t track this so it could be normal 😬

Rightnow I am using the One Step OPK's, taking my BBT and using Ovia to track it all. I think I'm 8DPO just now so it really is early but with all these random symptoms that I don't normally get with PMS, and definitely not quite so early) I do feel like it's different to previous months but then it could just be my imagination (and that's what I'm worried about!). I want to hold off until AF but will see how long that lasts! 😂

Will you test again soon or give it a few more days? If AF is overdue it sounds like a good sign!

Hi ogglet - you'll soon get the hang of the abbreviations. I had to Google a few but most are pretty straight forward. I think there's a glossary on here somewhere but I don't think the app (which I'm currently on) has the best search function!

Same as me I’m using opk and find them really helpful to pinpoint ovulation 😊 well you know your body and hopefully you’re right! I’m going to try and hold off too! It’s so hard tho 😬

I'll join! I think I'm 10dpo and AF is due on Saturday. I had a couple of days of very light bleeding last week and today I have been feeling a bit sick and had a headache. Caved and took a test today but BFN. I've just had to send my husband out for cystitis relief sachets as well. No fun. Really hoping for a BFP later this week but can't help feel it's not our month. Again! Loads of luck to you all.

Still in limbo did a test and I'm pretty sure it's a BFN as I can't see anything how is everyone else today

Are you usually quite regular waiting? I can be off by a day but not usually any more than that so if you're not on AF yet, there's still a chance!

Hi edinbeezer I'm due on Saturday too - the wait is excruciating! The bleed earlier sounds positive - fingers crossed for a BFP for you soon!

I'll join in too ladies! AF is 3 days late at the moment and I have no symptoms that she's arriving any time soon! I tested on Saturday with a BFN and then again this morning and it was a BFN! I think it's just AF being really late as opposed to me being pregnant...

I only had the implant out on 14th September so It could be to do with that I just looked back on my periods and noticed I did have a 34 day cycle back in July but didn't pay much attention at that point as I was on the implant and not TTC but I'm generally 28/29 days but I'm gonna wait intil Saturday now if no AF by then I will test again

Ah ok waiting I guess being the first month off it could mess up your cycles. I'll still keep my fingers crossed for you!

How is everyone else doing? I caved and did another cheapy last night but still BFN, no hint of a line, not even a slight shadow. Boobs still pretty sore and some light cramping throughout the day yesterday but not as much as last week so still not convinced it's going to be our month.

@contadora I caved and tested on an £land cheapie this morning and got a BFN as well. I have a FRER but holding off using that until Saturday. Losing hope for this month though.

@edinbeezer What are we like?! I have a pack of 2 FRER and they are also saved for a time when I think it might be worth the expense of them!

Have to admit, I will be slightly pissed off with my body if nothing happens because I've honestly never had pain in my boobs like this. I bought a sleep bra yesterday because they were so sore at night. It's times like these I wish I were a man! 😂

How late is AF?

I've got absolutely no symptoms at the moment of either AF or pregnancy I'm 3/4 days late now I've ordered some frer which should come tonight so I don't know if I should test tomorrow morning or try to wait till Saturday morning @Rightnow1245 have you thought about booking a dr appointment they might do blood test for you

Maybe wait until Saturday so you can use FMU or if you’re getting 2 do one tomorrow night after holding your wee? waitingforbaby2 yeah I have an appointment next Thursday morning so hopefully I will get some answers or I would of come on or got a BFP.. Im starting to get pissed off now.. all these months of having s regular cycle and now I want to TTC my body is being an asshole hahaha

I'll join in. DD1 is 7 months and is EBF so no AF and only guess work if ovulating. I have been feeling exhausted and other things which would be tmi. Did a HP mid day with no proper flow and well I think I see a very faint line but could also just be seeing things! Argh! Will test first thing tomorrow morning. I think I'm losing the plot!

AF due 20th Oct but nothing, tiny bit of brown mucus for a couple of hours, little bit of back cramp but nothing else. 5 BFN tests (last one was Saturday 27th oct). Popped to docs on the 25th and she said it's likely a miscarriage (had 3 previously between 4-6 years ago). Bit in limbo as in dubai at the moment trying not to think too hard about it all but my stomach is so bloated it's hard not to think about it in a bikini ha!! Anyone else still hanging on to hope? Xx

waitingforbaby2 yeah it was the closest appointment unless I want to have an emergency one.. I thought next week Thursday is ok because I’ll be 2 weeks late if AF doesn’t show. I’m just got my FX I’ll get a BFP by then.

SidSparrow I’m also BF my son but he’s 14 months and my AF return when he was 6 months and has been very regular since then.. I didn’t think it was possible to ovulate if you wasn’t getting a period? I know you could possibly ovulate and get a BFP but don’t think you would of been ovulating whilst EBF?? I really hope you have just ovulated for the first time since having your DC and you’ll get your BFP!! People think I’m crazy trying for another one so soon..😊
