Afternoon all!
Wow I've missed alot!

No idea where I'm at just now, had a crazy week with all sorts going on. I'm now signed off work sick with work related stress and meds for stress&anxiety to control my heart rate!
Don't know how this will affect us ttc. Currently in the 2ww, so if negative this month we might be forced to stop for a bit until I get myself sorted out. But I will still be hear, posting or lurking!!

Now to read back and catch up x

PineappleC · 03/11/2018 14:39

Thanks girls 😊

@LauraPalmersbodybag - that does sound confusing! Doesn't help that most of these symptoms seem to be the same for both BFP and AF! I am still crampiñg as if I'm coming on AF but still nothing, so would prefer to know either way too!

Sorry to hear that @carastarchild, hope next month is your month xx

BLS1983 · 03/11/2018 18:24

Oh @Carastarchild I'm sorry :-(. Hugs to you . It is a bit of a relief though hey. Enjoy a large glass of vino tonight ;-) xxx

BLS1983 · 03/11/2018 18:25

Sorry to follow on with this but I have had creamy cm last two days and quite a bit of it. Wouldn't you say I should have dried up after ovulation!? 🤔 x

LauraPalmersBodybag · 03/11/2018 18:30

Oh I really am sorry @carastarchild like you say though, rest up and recharge for hopefully a much better month ahead. If you haven’t already, run yourself a bath.

Also, sorry to hear that you’re not well @rachael321 I’ll Fx for your 2ww and just feeling a bit better in general.

I’m still bleeding lightly on and off, mild occasional cramps. Googling ‘implantation bleeding’ several times a day. Trying to convince myself not to test tomorrow. 🤦🏻‍♀️

ChikiTIKI · 03/11/2018 20:12

Oh no @Carastarchild I'm so sorry :(
I really thought this was your month, especially with your peak fertility showing up on the fertility monitor and well timed DTD-ing.

You've done a lot of good work getting in to a better hydration regime though. I think that's really important.

Still time for your BFP before Christmas. I have my fingers crossed for you xxxx

Carastarchild · 04/11/2018 01:39

Thank you ladies for your support and kind words. I ended up feeling really unwell all day. Incredibly sore throat and fever very unwell in my head. Coupled with period pains. Sorry for being moany. At least tomorrow is CD 2, and another day closer to trying again.

Who is next to test? Wishing you all the very best of luck 💜

I'm sorry to hear you've been feeling poorly too @Carastarchild
Don't feel guilty for being down about it. I admire you for looking forward to the next cycle positively already.

Wishing you a day of rest and recovery xxx

LondonKez · 04/11/2018 10:59

Sorry to hear that @carastarchild. Being unwell and having AF at the same time is tough.
@Rachael321 you've already shown strength in acknowledging that your self care is important.
Sending you both a big hug xx

Good luck @LauraPalmersBodybag, hopefully the spotting is a good sign xx

Whisky2014 · 04/11/2018 18:27

Ok i got a positive opk. A day later than the Flo tracker predicted and when i marked that I had a positive opk it changed my ovulation day to tomorrow.
Anyway we DTD yesterday and today and will do tomorrow too.
Fingers crossed although I'd be surprised if it works first time of trying.

Best wishes to everyone else trying.

anitagreen · 04/11/2018 19:00

Sorry I've missed everyone's replies to me and sorry for everyone who never got their bfp this month hopefully this will be our month I'm now cycle day 4 I think so another 8 days until the fertile period according to my app, but this month I'll be tracking my temp and doing opks x

ChikiTIKI · 04/11/2018 20:05

@anitagreen is this your first time using OPKs? Sorry if you've already said. I find it hard to keep up! I will use them next month if not pregnant this month.

So this morning I was all "probably not pregnant this month, feeling chilled, what ever happens, happens"

Then this afternoon I felt lightheaded and dizzy for about an hour while out on a walk. It was weird and I've not felt like that before to my recollection. So then I was all "maybe I'm pregnant, maybe I ovulated quite a while ago, maybe I should test soon".....

Argh!

Flossytots · 04/11/2018 20:38

Hi ladies... I’m so sorry I just vanished like that. Started a new job and I’m up at the crack of dawn and back really late, so not had much me time. @carastar thank you for your lovely messages whilst I’ve been away. I’m also sorry to read that AF got you. I’m afraid nothing came of my weird cycle last month. I’ve been feeling sick in the morning though, getting headaches, dizzy the lot and still bfn, so im so confused 😂

@lottie congratulations hun, made up for you. 🌸

How have you all ladies been doing, I have so much to catch up on.

Sending @cara a virtual hug and baby dust to all those about to test ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

P.s. @chiki you should maybe test, could be a very good sign for you. 🤞

ChikiTIKI · 04/11/2018 20:53

Hi @Flossytots good to see you again. Sorry about your weird symptoms and BFNs. Hopefully you get an answer to it all soon.

I won't test yet as based on my usual (really long) cycles I'm only about 3dpo! Think I'm just getting symptoms-itus!! Xxxx

anitagreen · 04/11/2018 20:56

@ChikiTIKI take a test! And no I've been using them on & off but never fully I was taking the seven seas trying for a baby tablets too but I stopped them x

PineappleC · 04/11/2018 21:47

Weird cycle for me too atm, but as it's my first off of the pill I'm just relieved something seems to be going on! Currently cd24, been cramping and back pains on and off since cd19 and today I had a tiny bit of brown spotting which has since gone. Sort of hoping AF comes in the next couple of days as my pre-pill cycles were about 25-26 days and then at least I know things are regulating!! 🤞🤔

Good luck to all those due a test!! Xx

ChikiTIKI · 04/11/2018 21:56

Oh I took those vitamins too @anitagreen. I used them for ttc my first baby and got pregnant the first month. I used them on second cycle of ttc this time around but obviously didn't get pregnant. Don't know if my first 2 cycles this time really counted though as I was giving up and then recovering from breastfeeding. On cycle 4 now.

Gone back to the asda pregnancy vitamins now though. £2 for 60. Can't complain!

I won't take a test before 15th November.... Please don't tempt me :) :) :) lol xxxx

LottieB87 · 05/11/2018 10:25

@Carastarchild Sorry to hear AF got you and you're feeling unwell :( take care of yourself. As you say, one day closer to the fun part!! Sending everyone hugs and positivity xx

LauraPalmersBodybag · 05/11/2018 12:09

Morning all, AF arrived with gusto yesterday morning, so at least I’m no longer in limbo. Very confused by spotting for 5 days before as that’s very unlike me. Anyway, we’ll try again this month and hope to have more luck.

Hope you’re feeling better @carastarchild?

@chikiTIKI hold strong! I drove myself crazy with early testing this month, I’ve vowed to wait till AF is late next time.

@anitagreen I’ll be opk-ing this month too. What do you use to temp? Is it a normal thermometer or do you need something specific?

Hope everyone’s doing well x

BLS1983 · 05/11/2018 13:11

@LauraPalmersBodybag sorry to hear af arrived for you x

BLS1983 · 05/11/2018 15:32

So I have been expediency heartburn the last two days and getting really cold. Can anyone relate to this from a previous pregnancy? X

anitagreen · 05/11/2018 17:05

@ChikiTIKI oh my god should I start taking them again do you think I haven't stuck to them how I should xx

anitagreen · 05/11/2018 17:05

@LauraPalmersBodybag sorry to hear that af came x

ChikiTIKI · 05/11/2018 18:37

@anitagreen as far as I know, folic acid supplements don't make you more likely to get pregnant, but folic acid is important for development of the egg and the baby's spine and nervous system. I think the advice is that you take them for 3 months before getting pregnant but at least 1. Lots of people don't though. I am not taking ttc vitamins, just pregnancy ones since I used them while breastfeeding so just carried on with them. I think any multivitamins have the folic acid in xxx

anitagreen · 05/11/2018 19:34

@ChikiTIKI that's a good idea then I might take them again , how are you getting on now xx
