Thread two for TWW begins...stop me POAS every day!

Sorry I haven't been on much with the last few days. I was sick and had my period all at once. TMI I actually have had a lot of clots, and I bleed more than normal. I slept very little last night due to being sick. Good news is I am feeling better today, and AF is starting to ease off a bit.

Reading back now to catch up with everyone and to update stats.

@Rachael sorry to hear that you are having a difficult time. My friend went through a similar situation, and she said it made her ill. She got herself through it by getting another job. I hope you are feeling better today.

Bls how many dpo are you? I had unsual heartburn around the time my period was due when I found out I was pregnant with my son! Fx it's a good sign for you!!

Lottie thank you sweetie! I really thought I was so close to getting a BFP! I had a good cry to myself, and then dried my tears, so I could move on.. Letting go isn't easy but it must be done so onwards and upwards x How have you been feeling? I bet you are super excited! How did your DP take the news! I can't wait to hear it all!

Hi @carastarchild, 7dpo over here and the 2ww is driving me insane! Was meant to be relaxing and not paying attention to my temps but I had a few weird temps so logged them into my app to look at my chart. Also very bloated (but that's normal for me!) and my bras are all cutting into me. I was fine ignoring it all until this morning 🤦🏽‍♀️

I'm ok thanks @anitagreen not felt dizzy today so don't know what that was all about. Kind of disappointed as I want some convincing symptoms!! I know I won't get any until after a BFP though really! :)

Chiki I hear you! I literally didn't buy any other than the ones that came with the Opks for the monitor. Saying that, I don't think the monitor is at all sensitive, so I am definitely going to invest in some first response tests. I heard that the clear blue digital with conception indicator is actually very sensitive, so I may buy one of each and hide them. Let's hipe you will get to use that test, and when you do it will be a fabulous BFP! 🙌

My excitement was short lived! I really should know better! DTD last night and started spotting. I always get that after DTD just before AF so it's about 4 days earlier than normal, but my temps have been all over the place during this LP, so I don't know if maybe my progesterone levels are low?

Londonkez will it stop again or continue on for a few days? If it stops it could be from cervical irritation, but if it continues it could be indicative of progesterone levels dropping off. The thing is though, implantation is known to cause a dip in temp and then a rise, which could cause a bit of spotting. Either way remember that Glamourbear had spotting and she got her BFP x

@carastarchild when it's AF, DTD triggers spotting and turns into full flow within a day or two. Which means it's about 4/5 days early. It could be cervical irritation. I didn't think of that. I read that only 20% of women get implantation bleeding and 25% get an implantation dip bbt, so the odds aren't in my favour to get both! I need to remember that statistic to avoid disappointment! Guess it's back to sitting patiently and waiting...

@LondonKez I hope it turns out to be a good sign! I had spotting 2 days before AF which turned out to be a BFP and so did @glamourbear even earlier I think. Fingers crossed for you xx

@Carastarchild are you feeling a bit better today? I know, I cried a lot every time AF came too :( there is a real sense of loss that comes with BFN/AF when hopes are high. I'm feeling good about this month for you!

I've been feeling fine thanks! Bit gassy and bloated and can't eat anything spicy otherwise been getting heartburn but no sickness yet, though I'm only 6W+1D. DP is over the moon! It doesn't feel real to me yet though I have to say.. those of you who have DCs already, when did it properly dawn on you??

Thanks everyone, just trying to feel positive that it will happen soon. Enjoying a break in thinking about it too much until we start trying again.

@Londonkez hang in there, I do understand not wanting to test too early, I’m staying hopeful for you.

Oh and a quick note on my stats - we tried for one cycle before the summer, paused and have now started again, so this is 🚲 3 for me now

Hey, yes I had spotting exactly a week before AF was due and got a positive 2 days later 😊

I would say it hit me when we were on holiday. I was 20 weeks pregnant and having a lovely holiday with my husband. I just cried! We had been together for 10 years and I was scared that our relationship would change and I was sad to say goodbye to the "just us two" phase of our relationship.

All turned out good though :)

Hello ladies, TTC #1 and on to cycle number 4 for us. Feeling a bit low today, thinking it's never going to happen 😔 anyone else have days like this?

Hi @feverbee yep! On cycle 12 hear and have irregular cycles. 36,37, 42 wasn't latest. When is af due? I'm due tomorrow according to app but need to find the strength to not test until at least a week late. Keep hope xx

@BLS1983 thank you 💕 not due for another 3 weeks. I've been tracking for 2 cycles now, ovulated on the exact same cycle day (16) both cycles. during the most recent cycle my leutal phase increased from 11 days to 12 days, so that's a good thing. I just feel like so many people around me are falling pregnant 😔
