Sorry @lilWolfe but isn't that line going the wrong way? Xx

lilWolfe · 14/11/2018 23:04

Lol, it's a cross for positive, faint line going down is what I'm trying to see if others can see. Grin

LauraPalmersBodybag · 14/11/2018 23:10

Hi @lilwolfe from a quick google I think you’re after it turning into a + for a positive, is that right? I’m struggling to see a vertical line but the light isn’t the easiest. Maybe give another few days and retest with a FRER? Best of luck to you x

lilWolfe · 14/11/2018 23:16

@laurapalmersbodybagand @BLS1983 thank you for your response. Yes it should be a + and it's best seen if you make sure the brightness of your screen is turned up. Phone wouldn't focus close up to stick so quality is low but with brightness up I can see it quite well xx

BLS1983 · 14/11/2018 23:19

I may drop off for a while ladies as went to the gp today re my fertility. Had a blood test and will hand another on cd 21 followed by an untra sound. Hoping for an explanation as to why my cycles are so whacky and taking so long to conceive. In the meantime good luck to you all xx

BLS1983 · 14/11/2018 23:21

Ah 🙈 sorry hun. I can see a line going downwards too on a second look. Fingers crossed for you xx

lilWolfe · 14/11/2018 23:25

@BLS1983 ah it's so lovely to get a positive second opinion, let's hope it sticks :)
And I'm sorry to hear about your difficulty in conceiving, and I think a break does wonders, you need to take time for you and de- stress your mind and body. All the fingers and toes crossed for you though X

LauraPalmersBodybag · 15/11/2018 07:54

Of course, best of luck @BLS1983 take care of yourself in the meantime. Flowers

lilWolfe · 15/11/2018 09:03

Took another test this morning and no line. Just going to see if AF rears and go from there

Carastarchild · 15/11/2018 13:32

Just checking in. Work has been super super busy. I have been coming home exhausted. I am off tomorrow thankfully.

Will catch up with everyone and stats this evening. Just enjoying a bit of me time before I head back 🙌

BLS my sister was recently diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome. One of her main signs was facial hair growth, gaining weight and having really long cycles. Definitely go and get checked out. At least then you can move forward xxx

I am CD 13 and my husband is traveling abroad to visit family on Sunday. I really hope I ovulate before then. My monitor said I have high fertility but no LH surge detected. I literally have two days ...no pressure... trying to trust that I will ovulate before then. We managed to DTD every two days so far 🤞

Plan was to test first thing this morning... but I forgot when I went to the loo! So will hang off til later on, trying not to go to the loo or drink too much to dilute it

Don't feel like I usually do before af shows up. The only similarity just now was a broken sleep last night. No sore boobs or feeling bloated etc

Whisky2014 · 16/11/2018 08:10

*cara hello! I'm ttc #1 cycle 1.

I feel horrendous. I am stressed to my eyeballs. I have an interview today, get married tomorrow, we leave for honeymoon from the venue and I haven't packed yet and to top it off I've had really bad dhairrea and feeling really sick.
:(

Whisky2014 · 16/11/2018 08:11

Oh I'm 11 dpo i think...is thay still too early to test?

PineappleC · 16/11/2018 08:57

Hi @Carastarchild I am now on cycle 2 cd9
😁 Last cycle was my first one off the pill and when I think back now it was a really normal 27 day cycle, but at the tine I felt all over the place post-ov - cramps from cd19, really emotional and weepy, and spotting from 3 days before AF. I hope that is not the norm for me post-pill!!😂

Anyway, very relieved I had a good cycle and normal AF and now looking forward to this next lot of BDing 😁 I'm not tracking temp or opks (I tend to stress myself out about stuff like that so trying to just do what I can throughout the month - regular BD, eating healthily etc) but tracking CM. Had some ewcm yesterday, bit early, but just gonna go with it!

Totally with you and @whisky re work stress. I have a pretty demanding job, also getting married in a few weeks, having building work done, ttc, and training for a marathon...and I don't handle stress very well. I am trying to tell myself that wedding and TTC are the most important bits and the rest doesn't matter, but it's hard when you're in the middle of it!! Actually taking some holiday this weekend just to switch my brain off!

FX to everyone BDing and testing 😁🤞😁🤞

Carastarchild · 16/11/2018 13:15

Hi Ladies!

Whisky I remember feeling very nervous and stressed before my wedding...not nervous about marrying my now DH, but of all the stuff that needed to be done, and all the pressure to have everything perfect. The best advice I can give is to cherish every moment of the day, as it does fly by in an instant. I would probably not test if it is going to upset you and make you feel down on your wedding day. Remember tomorrow starts a new chapter in your life x

Rachael I would hold off testing until the morning. First morning Urine is best. I have my fingers crossed for you!

Pineapple your body is probably just trying to readjust itself after being on the pill. You seem to have a lot on. I am glad you are stepping off the treadmill so to speak. Fx this is your cycle

LondonKez · 16/11/2018 14:44

Hi ladies, update from me:
The doctor said it's either a very light period or a pregnancy. She's asked me to test again in the morning and go in for a blood test on Monday. She said 2 days after my AF due date was too early to be reliable as a negative result if I haven't had a full flow. Its also common for it not to be detected on a hpt but can be dtected with bloods. If both tests come back negative, then she said keep an eye on my cycle and report back to her next month if my period arrives and is not back to normal. If I have a positive result, she wants me to go in and get checked out. I'm fairly confident that it was a strange period, but feeling better about everything today.

She also asked me to give her my CD1 dates for the last 6 cycles. She said again that because of my age and regular cycles she would be hesitant to send me for any tests until I reach 18 months as it can cause additional emotional distress and strain on a relationship which isn't productive when it comes to ttc. I realise that sounds unhelpful, but she was actually very kind!

LondonKez · 16/11/2018 15:51

Just read back, fingers crossed for you @Rachael321 and sending you a massive hug @BLS1983 xxx

BLS1983 · 16/11/2018 16:17

Bless you @LondonKez and Thankyou. I really hope this is a Positive for you xxx

ChikiTIKI · 16/11/2018 18:07

Thanks @Carastarchild I had a lovely birthday thanks :)
I did do a test and got a much darker line yesterday so can only conclude that I am pregnant!

I am excited but also got some worries about ectopic pregnancy only because I googled symptoms and have had dizziness since 3-7 dpo depending on when I ovulated and the spotting for 3 days. Probably unnecessary worry but when I call the doctor in a couple of weeks for the hospital referral I will ask to also be referred for an early scan.

LondonKez · 16/11/2018 18:16

Yay! What a perfect present @ChikiTIKI, congratulations xxx
