@lilwolfe sounds promising so far!
I feel exactly the same, my husband keeps on saying but why couldn't it happen first time. Suppose he's right but I don't want to get my hopes up! X

Flossytots · 12/11/2018 21:40

@chikitikiomg such fantastic news woohoooo!!! 🎉🎉

Congratulations love 🌸🌸✨✨✨✨

Flossytots · 12/11/2018 21:41

@curly that’s really kind of you, how have you been feeling?

lilWolfe · 12/11/2018 21:50

Thanks @kidsandcats1 im focussing on just enjoying being in the stage of my life where I get to try, that's a blessing alone right? So im tracking but im finding pleasure in it... maybe that's the naievity though. How is your Ttc going?

Curlywurly3 · 12/11/2018 21:54

Hey @flossytots I was so focused on getting a BFP I didn't give any thought to what it would be like afterwards! I have been feeling sickly, extremely tired and my nipples feel like someone has put crocodile clips on them! 🙈 Wishing you all feel the same very soon (meant in the nicest possible way! 😊) x

ChikiTIKI · 13/11/2018 06:55

Hi guys, hope you're all doing well. I've not had any spotting since that bit yesterday afternoon. My skin was really spotty and also red and blotchy for the last few days (the blotchyness I had in my last pregnancy) but today I've woken up and my skin has totally cleared up. I'm worried my hormones have gone or something!

Can anyone who had spotting after their BFP tell me at what point they stopped worrying? @GlamourBear ? Xxxx

GlamourBear · 13/11/2018 07:30

Hey @chikiTIKI CONGRATULATIONS!! I'm about 10 weeks now and after having an early scan at 8 weeks and noticing a teeny bump appearing (second child so it's appearing much quicker) I'm feeling less worried. However I've had horrendous sickness which is only just easing up the past few weeks.

In my first pregnancy my skin was asking right from before my bfp but this pregnancy it's not great so try not to worry as I'm having a different pregnancy this time. Sickness is much worse, tiredness seems worse, skin isn't as nice. This isn't what I remember 🤣

GlamourBear · 13/11/2018 07:30

*sickness easing up the past couple of weeks not few weeks 🙈

LondonKez · 13/11/2018 08:12

Lovely to hear from you @glamourbear and @Curlywurly3! Great to hear that things are progressing...even the crocodile clip nipples and sickness sound excellent, at least you know your baby beans are safe and well!

@chikitiki I can't speak from experience, but try not to worry (easier said than done, I know!). I'm sure your body will do lots of strange things in the next few months that may not be the same as last time. Sending you a massive hug 💖💖💖

I tested this morning and a BFN as expected, but at least I can move on. The strange cycle has ended and all bleeding has stopped. Does anyone have any advice on when to count CD1 from? I didn't have any flow to speak off, just a light bleed on wiping since Thursday which would have made my LP 9 days rather than my usual 12. The heaviest was Sunday when I had a tiny spot in my pad and that was it. Should that be CD1? Any advice welcome! Xx

LottieB87 · 13/11/2018 12:26

@ChikiTIKI CONGRATULATIONS!!! YAAY!!!! So happy for you!!

I had spotting from 12dpo that lasted about 4-5 days. Very small amount and brown. I was worried but after it tapered off I knew it was just normal. I also got spots exactly as I do as AF is coming but by the end of the week that I got my BFP, they were gone! Skin still looking good which was only usually the case for me early on in my cycle.

I am 7+1 and no spotting since. Boobs are very tender and gone up a cup size at least already, DP is very amused by this because I am a very petite 5'1" lady so any sort of 'expansion' is really noticeable. I'm going to look ridiculous with my bump!

I've been lucky so far and had only very very mild nausea around mid morning time which I've mostly been able to just work through or relieve with a mint or diet coke. I know this sounds stupid but it's worrying me a bit that I'm not feeling worse! Next week I'll probably be on my knees with nausea cursing this post..

@LondonKez what colour was your spotting? sorry random personal question!

Flossytots · 13/11/2018 14:40

@londonkez wish I could shed more light but I’m very unsure what to make of it. Anyone else have any ideas? How are you feeling generally anyway?

@curly, glad you are doing well and will take crocodile nips any day 😂😂🙈🤞

@glamour, apart from the sickness you have experienced, it’s great to know you are doing well 🤗 @lottie, your post really made me giggle, I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you that nausea stays away 🤞

I’m 8dpo today and have been sick as a dog for the last 2weeks, from headaches, dizziness, sore throat, fever and so much more. The list goes on. I have been bed ridden for the last few days and yesterday was a real kicker, all day nausea that wouldn’t shit, kept sipping on water and that would help for 5seconds lol 😂 and now water tastes funny to me. Previous tests have been bfn...will test again on Thursday I think.

Rant over, thank you for listening 🙈😂😂😂 hope you are all doing well, baby dust to you all ✨✨✨✨✨✨

LondonKez · 13/11/2018 15:31

@LottieB87 it was dark red/brown. It wasn't bright red at any point which is why I didn't know when to start day one.
Hope the nausea stays away!

@flossytots oh, feel better soon lovely. Hope you get some happy news soon xx

ChikiTIKI · 13/11/2018 17:30

Thank you very much for your kind messages everyone. I have been reassured :) I feel so much more aware this time around of stuff that can go wrong... It's so hard to be positive! But you have made me feel so much better.

Only had a tiny tiny tiny bit of pink tinged ewcm this afternoon. Almost nothing.

Went for a walk and felt quite dizzy again which I didn't get last time I was pregnant. Got quite out of breath though which happened a lot last time! Got a few days off work now. Wondering when I should see my GP... Might leave it a couple of weeks or so before calling up.

lilWolfe · 13/11/2018 21:04

7DPO and been feeling dizzy, almost to the point of feeling like im going to pass out. Its like motion sickness that happens when im still, Im not sure if it's a pregnancy sign or not, lots of other symptoms - breasts, back ache and nausea etc rampant mood swings but the dizziness has caught me off guard. Anyone else had dizzy symptoms?

ChikiTIKI · 14/11/2018 06:50

@lilWolfe me! I have been suffering with dizziness on and off since earliest I would say 3 dpo xxxx

Rachael321 · 14/11/2018 09:55

Morning ladies, hope you are all well!
Driving myself crazy symptom spotting!
Crazily tired, peeing lots, sore back, stomach pains like muscular tightness, headaches, always hungry, lots of cm, skin broken out in spots which is unusual for me.
AF due Friday and usually my boobs would be so painful by now and they feel totally fine!

LondonKez · 14/11/2018 17:46

How are you today @chikitiki? Xx
Sounds promising @Rachael321! Not long to wait now! Fingers crossed for you! Xx

Just thought I'd share that I'm STILL spotting (7th day) and still have no real period (in flow or colour). I have a call with the doctor on Friday to ask where to count my new cycle from. Fairly certain that it will be from my temp drop and day of slightly heavier spotting (sunday), but also hoping to get the ball rolling on tests etc. We planned to wait until January, but I figure I may as well ask about it at the same time!

Rachael321 · 14/11/2018 18:30

Thanks @Londonkez I'm it sure what to think about it all just now tbh. I keep talking myself into it and then out of it and then worrying about it!! I gave in and ordered frer today so should have them tomorrow, just need to wait if out til Friday or push til Saturday!

That's good you're getting to talk with the doc about it all, I hope you get the ball moving in the right direction x

Whisky2014 · 14/11/2018 18:42

Think I was a bit silly and took a test at 7dpo. It immediately said negative.

ChikiTIKI · 14/11/2018 19:24

I'm ok thanks @LondonKez just been quite out of breath and dizzy when walking about. Not used to this dizziness but it's not that bad. I was worried this morning about the spotting and did some googling (why!?!) and got myself all worried about possibility of ectopic pregnancy. Didn't have any spotting at all today though and almost none yesterday. Going to take another test in the morning even though it's my birthday, I just want to know for sure!

I hope your conversation with the doctor goes well and you get some answers and positive steps to move forwards. I wonder if they will suggest a blood test or something? Xxxx

ChikiTIKI · 14/11/2018 19:25

Sorry to hear that @Whisky2014, definitely still time for a BFP to come in for you this month though xxxx

lilWolfe · 14/11/2018 20:37

Well Happy Early Birthday @ChikiTIKI and i hope you get a reconfirmed BFP tomorrow as an early birthday gift (the first one your baby could ever give you! )- im happy to know im not the only one getting dizzy, although wouldnt want anyone to have it as its horrid.

LauraPalmersBodybag · 14/11/2018 21:51

Congratulations @chiki! What brilliant news!!

LauraPalmersBodybag · 14/11/2018 21:59

@londonkez sorry that you’ve had such a confusing month. I can’t work out if these happen more than we realise the rest of the time, or if TTC brings out all the weird cycles somehow! Hope your gp can shed some light on what cd you’re on.

For all those @flossytots @lilwolfe @rachael321waiting to test - good luck to you! Sending fertilisation dust your way!

My opk gave me a + today and all signs point to imminent O so if I can just get my bloody stubborn nearly 3yo back to sleep soon, she might get the sibling she’s after 😂 wish me luck!

lilWolfe · 14/11/2018 22:29

Tested early 8dpo on a Sainsbury's own brand, I can see a line which appeared within 2-3 minutes. Plus was late evening so not good urine to test with. What do you ladies think? Praying the baby dust was swept my way Star
