@sunshine1987 I've been off the pill for a good few months now but we've only been actively trying for the past 3 (which really isn't very long at all!) No, I haven't tested again, but I might tomorrow if something doesn't happen soon! X

Delilah7 · 29/10/2018 14:24

@FlapJackered tryinggggg. But think I'll cave and get it over and done with tomorrow x x

@EltzBee takes 6 months for any vitamins or changes you make to impact the maturation of your eggs (3 months for vitamins to impact the quality of sperm) xx

Crossfitgirl · 29/10/2018 14:45

Currently trying to pack stuff into boxes for moving (hopefully moving house on the 9th! Fingers crossed!)

It would be soooo nice to get my BFP now, just as we move to our family home and just before Christmas and before our fertility appointment.

I want it so badly this month. So so bad. It would just be perfect. Come on 2ww hurry up. Let's get it over with...

EltzBee · 29/10/2018 14:52

@SenoraSurf interesting! I've been taking multivitamins and B12 for years, and folic acid since June, the others for a couple months. Have the DH on the vitamin train too the past few weeks.

@Crossfitgirl ooh exciting! We moved in to our new house August 2017, we used a packing and moving service - good luck packing everything up! Fingers crossed for you.

KatBeCool · 29/10/2018 15:15

@Crossfitgirl don't start worrying yet. Low progesterone is easily fixable with medicine, so if for some reason your corpus luteum isn't producing enough, Dr's will assist you with that. Now apologize to your eggs tell them they're not shitty 😂

sunshine1987 · 29/10/2018 16:12

@katbecool I needed to read this today, thank you x

cupcakesandglitter · 29/10/2018 17:00

@mrsof20118 oh definitely, they're a breeze compared to how they used to be so I get that completely!

@Crossfitgirl thankyou - tried giving them a ring but missed my doctor. I'm actually thinking to start taking Pregnacare (and get DH taking it too) before I call the doctor. Congrats on the move in date!!!! How exciting - right in time to enjoy Christmas too ❤️

@Delilah7 @EltzBee Chin up hunnies, if it gives you piece of mind POAS, but don't stress yourselves over it, you need to relax as much as possible xxxx

EltzBee · 29/10/2018 17:53

Well I gave in (11DPO, CD29) and POAS - as expected with temp, a definitive BFN. Sad I expected it but still sad to know that this wasn't the month again.

On to next month - just need AF to turn up and get it over with. Was having the debate whether we should skip Nov/Dev trying to avoid an August baby after reading on another thread it's harder for kids being youngest in year plus being heavily preg in summer, but then you never know could try doing that and have one come early anyway, and there seems to be plenty of people that have summer babies who don't struggle. Sorry if a daft thing to think. I overthink things sometimes.

Delilah7 · 29/10/2018 18:28

@EltzBee I thought the same Hun about babies in summer dates. I'm a July baby too and it is shit being a younger one but you don't really think that much about it in school I'd say! Sorry BFN. But remember if AFS not here you may still have a chance.

I'm thinking too I've been overthinking things. Know I'm not pregnant. Unfortunately seem to be coming down with a bad throat at the moment along with a horrible taste so looks like winters coming for me xx

OP posts:
Crossfitgirl · 29/10/2018 19:31

@delilah7 @eltzbee if I get a July or August baby, I'LL TAKE IT! for me personally it doesn't matter, I know lots of people with July and August birthdays who all turned out just fine :-) seems silly to miss a month or two, as like you say even if you aim for September it can still come early! Lol. But that's just me, opinions are very mixed - in fact there has been a couple of threads recently on the conception pages on here about just that. I think parents can choose for their late summer babies to be in the year below now anyway. But you're absolutely not alone in having those thoughts at all, and it's a personal decision. For me I'd prefer a summer baby as I would be able to enjoy going for walks and getting out of the house with baby and I think I'd be less likely to get post natal depression as I get cabin fever even if I'm in the house for a day. and I have sooo many winter birthdays in my family it's untrue! Haha. Although you're right being preggers would not be fun if we had the heat wave we had this year again. But also it would be no fun getting stuck in snow on the way to the hospital in labour!! Haha. Swings and roundabouts! I'll try find the thread anyway and link you to it! It was interesting reading Xx

Crossfitgirl · 29/10/2018 19:36

@delilah7 are you going to wait and test with me Sat? Pleeeease? The BFNs are so much harder when they might be inaccurate! How many dpo are you now?

Delilah7 · 29/10/2018 19:46

@Crossfitgirl I'm really not bothered about when my baby is due. As long as they're healthy! I'll wait and test but I'll get a cheap test. I know I'm not though xxx

Hi all :) Good lord this thread has been busy today! Just catching up. Been to the dentist today, for 2 fillings I've been putting off for about 2 years. Feel a bit silly, they were done in under 15 mins, didn't even need numbing! Guess I just built it up in my head.

Re summer babies, I was a July baby and a fair few people in my year were August and it really isn't a big deal (in my opinion) Totally see the point on being heavily pregnant in a heatwave though. Can't see that being fun. On the subject of timing, we're properly going for it in November, but already decided to skip Dec. Absolutely love Christmas and don't want ttc stress ruining the build up!

@delilah7, get the lemsip capsules out! Hope you don't come down with anything too nasty xx Try to hold off poas, but we all know, the urge is strong!

@crossfitgirl, that's ace about your moving date :) Moving is the worst, but once you're in its the best feeling! All ready for Christmas xx

Delilah7 · 29/10/2018 19:56

@FivexFive dentist can be horrible though so I completely get why you've put it off 😂 yeah being a July baby isn't so bad. I guess us women just think July and heat but with how this summer went September is probably worse time to be pregnant 😂 I love Christmas so I get that skipping December would probably be a good idea. Think I'll relax more after this month and over Xmas period don't wanna stress myself out. I can't take them! 😂I have hot powdered shit hahaha. I'll take some ibuprofen and suck it up. OH cooked tonight so I was very thankful! I've resisted. Not bought any tests as I have none left over haha xxx

OP posts:
EltzBee · 29/10/2018 20:09

@Crossfitgirl that's exactly what we concluded! Well take any month lol.

@delilah7 I read not to take ibuprofen when TTC hun. I haven't touched it since June.

Delilah7 · 29/10/2018 20:10

@EltzBee ok thanks for the heads up hunny!! Xx

Delilah7 · 30/10/2018 07:54

@cupcakesandglitter for the last three months I've been ridiculous nauseous and for the last two days I've got a sore throat so reckon I'm coming down with something xxx

OP posts:
FlapJackered · 30/10/2018 07:59

@Delilah7 sorry you're not feeling well.
I am feeling a bit rubbish too, I think it is that fluey time of year.

My temp has gone up again but not enough I don't think, I'm not out but I think it is unlikely now, I think Af is on her way. 🙁

Delilah7 · 30/10/2018 08:01

@FlapJackered just really annoying. Keep feeling light headed/dizzy too. So may take a day off work if it continues. You're not out till she shows Hun! Gonna but some clearblue ovulation next month just so I know when I ovulate for def! Xx

OP posts:
MrsR16 · 30/10/2018 08:22

Morning ladies. @Delilah7 sorry you're not well hun! Fingers crossed you're better soon x

Still no sign of AF! 3 days late, but still a BFN so I think it'll just be really late 😢

Delilah7 · 30/10/2018 08:23

@MrsR16 me too hun me too

Very strange! Have you cycles changed much recently at all?? Or always the same?? Xx

OP posts:
MrsR16 · 30/10/2018 08:28

@Delilah7 no, they've been between 26 and 29 days since I came off the pill, so god knows where this 31 (at the moment) day cycle has come from! I know I shouldn't be worried until at least 36 days, but this isn't normal
