@crossfitgirl no it’s never gone that high which was what confused me when it was? This is last months. I was doing so well this month until I woke up today and it had dipped, I cannot win. Waiting on my day 21 test results so hoping that’ll help too x

Sorry to hear that @triskaidekaphilia, definitely go speak to your GP. The bloods they can give you to start with will help you understand what’s going on to start with x

Delilah7 · 24/10/2018 10:25

@Crossfitgirl well hopefully they will take a few weeks if sooner we know something more serious is up. It's screwing my head hun! Xx

@Welshpugmomma I hope so hun! Think I'm am going to do the clearblue ovulation tests next cycle just to confirm I'm ovulated based on body changes etc x x

@Crossfit yes the sites being so glitchy I thought I sent that message first thing this morning went back online to see it still sitting there, also tried to post last night but it wasn't going through , is the app any better?

FlapJackered · 24/10/2018 10:29

@Crossfitgirl thanks must be frustrating! I am sure it will happen soon. Can you delay your blood test as it won't give you the right results if you haven't ov'd?

FlapJackered · 24/10/2018 10:30

@sunshine1987 fingers crossed it's an implantation dip!

Crossfitgirl · 24/10/2018 10:47

@flapjackered not sure, she did say we can repeat the test if need be, I'm not sure whether to just leave it - what if I don't actually get a rise? Then I can't have a test? Lol. I dunno. I could ring the surgery and try speak to the doctor that referred me I guess... Euh don't really want to though. And if I wasn't tracking temp I wouldn't even know, so I'd be going for the test anyway?

Also had a load more EWCM again this morning 🤷‍♀️

Crossfitgirl · 24/10/2018 11:04

Just found this. It's made me feel better!

TTC FIRST BABY THREAD NO.6
KatBeCool · 24/10/2018 11:19

@Crossfitgirl glad to see that it's not a norm for the temp to go high quickly. But it makes sense as we don't get a dump of progesterone and it's released slowly instead so it takes a couple of days for enough of it to accumulate and raise the temperature.

sunshine1987 · 24/10/2018 11:28

@crossfitgirl that’s really interesting! I would still go and get your bloods done Friday x

Crossfitgirl · 24/10/2018 12:16

Yeah am still gonna go Friday i think. I will speak to the Dr when I get the results and if she wants to repeat them based on my temps then that's fine. In reality we've only been trying for 6 months so I don't feel like its absolutely critical that things are looked into immediately. I'm glad I have the 3 month buffer (doc thinks it's been 9 months) so I'm not totally panicking.

On the plus side I feel miles better today, I might tell DH that we need to have sex tonight and just tell him that I think today is ov day. Lol. I'm glad we didn't last night - I think we were both just soooo tired, so not in the mood, that the sperm would have been too tired and moody to swim all the way the egg anyway 😂

MrsR16 · 24/10/2018 13:37

@Crossfitgirl yep, according to Flo! I just have to not test till Sunday... although DH and I are out Saturday night so it would be good to know if I could drink or not!!

@Welshpugmomma literally I could eat for England at the moment! Am currently stuffing my face 😂 although not with pasties or pastries!

@Triskaidekaphilia oh that's no fun! Here's hoping for next month! Definitely get to the doctors...

@Crossfitgirl good luck at the docs hun x

ValidUser · 24/10/2018 14:41

Been to GP. DH getting semen analysis in the next few days and I'm booking in for HSG.

Glad to get tests.

Delilah7 · 24/10/2018 15:04

@Crossfitgirl trying for a baby when you're both shattered and moody does not go down well. My noonie clams up and my OH hates it 😂😂😂 so we go bed facing the other way. We've learnt not to do it for the sake of it. Yes we want a baby but if we're not in the mood I'm not gonna force it! Let us know how doctors go! Xx

@ValidUser fingers crossed then lovely x x

Crossfitgirl · 24/10/2018 15:05

Thanks @mrsR16 😘
Good luck for the HSG @validuser (I have just googled what it is)
I may ask about it when I go to the fertility clinic, due to my previous cyst being removed from one of my tubes- check it's not blocked!
My DH is going about his sperm analysis tomorrow, I think it's just an appointment to arrange it though rather than the actual sample.

Delilah7 · 24/10/2018 15:07

Would you guys say that I should do clearblue ovulation text next month? I know I have EWCM and pains but i obviously want to know for defo don't i!

OP posts:
Crossfitgirl · 24/10/2018 15:09

Haha @delilah7 clams up! That's exactly how I felt tbh. We got in the shower and both just kinda stood there, got washed, then after a bit I was like. You wanna get out? Haha.
It's just the blood test on Friday, I assume the doc will ring me when she has the results.

@validuser let us know how you get on - I imagine it'll be fairly quick turnaround being private? We have a 2 month wait for fertility clinic x

Delilah7 · 24/10/2018 15:11

@Crossfitgirl honestly men know too when we aren't relaxing and give up after a while. Well my OH certainly does 😂😂😂 fingers crossed it won't take long for them to come back to you x

OP posts:
FlapJackered · 24/10/2018 15:14

@Crossfitgirl tricky one! It could be a slow rise, but personally I would delay the blood test as I wouldn't want them to think I just wasn't ovulating. When I got my blood test I just rang them up as soon as I got my rise and changed my appointment. Or if you get them done just explain to your doc that you maybe hadn't ovulated before them if they come back with low levels.
Moody sperm! 😂😂

@ValidUser 🤞🏻for you and DH.

@Delilah7 if you think it won't stress you out too much go for it. I have an irregular cycle so I find them amazing to know where I am. I think even for people with regular cycles it could be useful just to get an idea of the day and then you only need to do it once.

Delilah7 · 24/10/2018 15:15

@FlapJackered that's what I mean. I'm pretty sure of the day I do but maybe I'm a few days or a day or so out. Just be intriguing too know now my cycles 33 days and not 28!! Xx

OP posts:
Crossfitgirl · 24/10/2018 15:15

@delilah7 it's up to you, I tried them but prefer the cheapies. For me though, its because i ovulate late and seem to have a small window for the LH surge, so not only did i have to test for nearly 2 weeks before i got a solid, but last time the solid never came (despite getting positives on the OPKs) so I'd have to use like 2 packs every time to test from the cycle day it says to, plus then test more than once a day to get the surge, so I'd use like fifty test sticks. Which I can't afford.
So cheapies for me are better!

BUT I would say try it and see how you get on with it? They are a lot easier than the cheapies cos you can just pee on them. They are way less faffy.

Delilah7 · 24/10/2018 15:18

@Crossfitgirl with the clearblue do you do it once a day or more than that? I never found my surge with the cheapies because I could only remember and manage to do one a day hahaha. Xx

OP posts:
Crossfitgirl · 24/10/2018 15:22

@flapjackered I don't know - I will see what my temp does tomorrow. Either way, I am still due AF on 1st November, so this Friday is still 6 days before AF is due (7 if say, my LP stays the same so is delayed a day or two), and isn't the test meant to be around 7 days before AF?
I am not even sure whether AF will be delayed or not, because my luteal phase has varied by a day or two each cycle anyway...
I think I have O'd now as my pains are gone. Bloody cycle fucking up just when I don't want it to!
I honestly think stress has delayed ovulation.

FlapJackered · 24/10/2018 15:22

@Delilah7 you do them once a day with fmu but then once you get the flashing smiley you can do them more, I did them first thing and last thing at night. The monitor thing lasts for 2 or 3 cycles too, so it doesn't actually work out as expensive as it seems! Especially as you're fairly regular you shouldn't need to use that many.

FlapJackered · 24/10/2018 15:23

@Crossfitgirl that sucks, it's always the cycle where you want it to behave that it decides to play silly buggers! Hopefully you will get your rise tomorrow 🤞🏻
