symptoms and pg tests

i have been getting some pg symptoms for a few days now.would be very early but question is,if i am pg and hormones enough to be making my boobs sore etc, would there be enough hormones to show up on an early pg test? been using first response and done 2 today both negative. i think period would be due around tuesday

I think it's too early. i know first response say you can test as early as 4 days before but I think then it only picks up on a certain percentage of pregnancies. Maybe you should wait a few more days - sorry I know you probably dont want to hear that but it'll save you a few quid!

thanks.i'm gonna try really hard not to buy anymore!!

i did think cos i feel like i have symptoms already that it meant my hormones were high.i'm sure i got a positive this early with my dd.

maybe i'm just completely wrong and i'm not pg at all!!

get some of these tests they need less HCG that shop brought ones and they are cheap...

I am in the same position - haven't done an early test but am soooooo tempted.

Getting a couple of signs but wondering if I'm actually imagining them.

when are you due on? i think i am probably imagining it. it's just my boobs are really sore, under my arm pit and the only time i've ever experienced it before was when pg with my dd

I was in the same position a week ago - similar symptoms to when I was pregnant with DD but then two negative tests earlier this week but tested today , 1 day after AF due, and it was positive! So I'd trust your instincts and test again a bit later.

TM I reckon based on our AF dates a first response test wouldn't show positive until tomorrow or probably Sunday for me.

I use 3 last month (2 First Response and 1 Clearblue) all BFP only to start bleeding when AF was due so I have sworn myself off them now.

My signs are quite mild compared to previous times, but I have other ones like feeling as though I'm going to get cystitis or thrush and the runs - not sure if these are symptoms but not something I suffer from certainly not all at the same time.

Perhaps I am just becoming a hypercondriac instead?!?!?

i've just done another first response, 3-4 days before period due, and was negative i definately got a positive 4 days before with dd.

i'm sure i'm imagining it

I'm sure I did with DD too!

I think I am imiagining it too. The "signs" definitely aren't as strong as with DD.

Guess we'll just wait until next week and see what happens....

Did a clearblue test this morning 3-4 days before AF due and it was negative.

Still feel pg??? Had mild cramps for a few days and felt sick all day yesterday

oh wibbles, it's so weird,isn't it? i'm the same.my boobs are so sore,never had this other than when pg,and weeing more too.do feel like i'm about to come on anytime but think i felt like this when pg too!!
gonna buy some more tests tomorrow should probably wait and see tho, as might come on tues or weds so don't want to waste any more money!!

I never get cramp before I come on apart from when I have been pg. It is weird.

Only ever felt like this when I was pg and to only see one line was strange, then started thinking that it wasn't first wee of the day so perhaps there wasn't much HCG etc etc

I normally use first response tests so might get myself one of those tomorrow.

The dread to think the amount of money I have spent on tests!!!!

And she describes havings cramps before AF.

I wonder if this is what is happening to me after chemical pg last month?

It's when the egg fertilizes, the body starts to produce hcg (so you may get a positive test, if so, usually faint), but the egg does not implant so your period arrives soon after.

When I say "it happened" I mean I got pg straight away without even trying!
