symptoms and pg tests

i have been getting some pg symptoms for a few days now.would be very early but question is,if i am pg and hormones enough to be making my boobs sore etc, would there be enough hormones to show up on an early pg test? been using first response and done 2 today both negative. i think period would be due around tuesday

started bleeding today.very strange as periods never less than 28 days.only time i've ever had an early period was when i miscarried sore boobs very strange too,never had that before other than pg

Taylorsmummy - are you sure it's not implantation bleeding? Mine was quite heavy with DD1 and I did a +ve test the following day.

i thought that happened earlier? how heavy was your bleeding? like a period?

My implantation bleeding (or what the doc said was ib) happened on the cd27 and lasted a day. I thought I had come on, so used a tampon but then at the end of the day it was clear I wasn't bleeding that much, so did a test the next day. It was pinky brown rather than proper red [sorry if tmi], but other than that it was enough for me to think it was AF.

I read that IB happens on or about when period is due so a lot of women actually think they've had a period and don't bother testing.

i'm pretty sure i am having a proper period.have cramps and feel generally rubbish.

still got the weird boob ache though which is what's throwing me a bit.

Wouldn't care but I spent a fortune on digital ovulation tests too so even knew (or thought I knew what I was doing!!!)

this month is very strange for me,i have to say.

i'm always dead on 28 days,without fail. this month i'm pretty sure i ovulated 14 days ago (which would make sense) and i had sex two days before and 1 day after. i am really fertile so i really should be pg.

i have a feeling i may have been and maybe having an early mc. i suppose most people would just think it's a normal,slightly earlier period,but early periods just don't happen for me.it's fairly heavy,bright red and i have cramps (which i don't have since dd) and my periods never start off bright red

i'm still hoping for you wibbles. just cos it's negative today doesn't mean it won't be positive tomorrow!!

A 28 day cycle...how lucky?!?!? Mine is 30, 35, 28, 36 just whatever it damn well pleases!!!

I don't think I'll be doing anymore tests this month.

Well have done no more testing but have felt sick and had cramps and felt as though AF was just round the corner but still nothing today apart from a couple of spots and normally once she arrives she's there!

Just going to wait and see what tomorrow brings.

AF arrived yesterday with avengance - have been crippled with cramps and a complete witch to DP.

Ho hum try harder next month wibbles!!!

buy the cheap one from ebay they do work, 20 tests for £5, bargain!! I linked further down on this thread
