So I’m currently on day cycle 12 not due ovulation yet but I should be in a few days! Trying for my second is anyone else wants to join this tread to talk about TTC come on over.
I have been tracking my cycles for a few months now but we are only trying from this month.
Please feel free to share your TTC story xx

Welcome @Cloclopops! I'm the same as you, ovulated on 6th so 5dpo but AF due on 20th! The days are going so slowly.. waiting till at lest 10dpo then will probably start obsessively POAS 🙈

Morning ladies!

I’m currently 11dpo.. if my app is correct about my ovulation day (although we covered early and late ovulation too)... and I just got a BFN. 🙄😩 I knew I shouldn’t have tested so now I’m hiding them until Sunday earliest!

i know its so hard waiting! im going to wait also hopefully AF doesnt show so I will test on the 20th as I have previously tested before!! let me kniw how you both get on xxx

I'm pretty sure I'm ovulating today. EWCM from Tuesday is my give away. We dtd last Thurs, Sunday, Tuesday and last night, and going to try again tonight. I'm hoping for Saturday too to cover all bases and hopefully when we'll be less tired and more relaxed! AF due 27th.

I'm trying to stay positive and hopeful!

I don't have any pregnancy tests in the house (after going nuts last month and using them all up) and I'm going to try not to buy any unless I'm late... What's the betting I cave?!!

EmmTTC sorry to hear that but it is really early don’t count yourself out yet! I was 2weeks late and still got a bfn and a few days later got a BFP 😊 you still have a chance!!!
So now I’m thinking that I might of ovulated already..still no positive on my OPK and I’m on day 19dp I’m so confused 🤷‍♀️

Fingers crossed for you @EmmTTC Out of curiosity whats the earliest you can test after ovulation? anyone had any success testing early and got BFP?

@decgal88 from what I've read, I think even sensitive tests can't pick up a pregnancy until 4 days after implantation and implantation usually occurs between 8-10 days after ovulation x

@Cloclopops yea makes sense! im just being impatient will wait till AF due! my boobs still feel quite sore from last week it usually passes after fertile/ovulation week, is anyone else still feeling like this? think im looking into the signs too much

Hellobrass according to the last few cycles I’m due on a few days before you! I have a short Luteal phase.. after my last post I got a very near positive on the opk so I think I might get a positive real soon 😊 we will have to keep each other from not POS early 😬 anyone else not ovulated or just starting their TTW?

AF arrived today and I’m feeling so disheartened. It’s the first month we’ve been TTC properly since a MC in July. We’ve got a beautiful 14 month boy but I’m so desperate to do it all over again.
Didn’t have a problem conceiving with DS or with my last pregnancy so although it’s only been a month I’m getting ridiculously anxious. I’m 37, DH 51 and I have this overwhelming feeling that time isn’t on our side.

So wish there was a magic wand full of baby dust for us all as this waiting game is just torturous.

kayjay2018 we’re in a similar boat- 37 with a DH of 51 and babies the same age too!

@HelloBrass I keep going in to shops to buy pregnancy tests and then stopping myself because I know I'll use them all up! I've only got a CB one at home, which I'm trying to save if AF is late..
Sounds like you've covered yourself, hopefully you'll get a BFP by the 27th!!

The age gap to DH is spot on, my older man . He has no children so ttc number 1 for him. My DS is actually nearly 15years old! (Had him when I was 22). I didn’t think I’d find myself Ttc so many years later! I’m currently CD5 so just finished AF, been and bought some test strips as I only temped last month. I won’t be due next AF till November technically but hope I can gatecrash this thread for a bit!

I know what you feel about time running out. We have informally given ourselves 18months to see what happens. DH knows i temp but I’m much more obsessed than he knows!

Kayjay2018 I’m pretty obsessed too! DH knows I’m using opk but he doesn’t know how bang on it I am.. I’m an all or nothing sort of person.. Defo can’t go with the flo hahaah

@rightnow1245 I swear they get the easy bit! No temping or testing every day . I’m trying to hide my obsession, I have been permanently broody all my life, my son was a lovely surprise but that means I always took my fertility for granted, now I’m ttc, it makes you doubt yourself! What day are you on this cycle?

kayjay2018 They really have got it easy! I guess if you wasn’t TTC before then you didn’t have that stress about it!
I’m on 19dp so I’m pretty late into my cycle! All this TTC is so confusing x

@decgal88 only had it for a year so not that long - never going back on hormonal contraceptives again - too much hassle!
Taking folic acid and vit d as I read somewhere about the pregnacare changing cycles and didn’t want any further changes to mine!
On CD8 and natural cycles doesn’t think I ovulate until CD23 so long way to go yet!

Rightnow1245, I was very lucky that I fell for my son on the one occasion I wasn’t careful and for the last 15 years have not been in a place to have a child. It’s a little scary this ttc lark, I feel like I am a total newbie and know that realistically I am on a time limit with DH. Fingers crossed everyone gets the BFPs they wish for.

Kayjay2018 wow! Thats going to be an adventure- back to nappies after 15 years! My DH has teenagers from a previous marriage and is loving the baby years again. Says it keeps him young!

I was worried about my age but during the appointments around my MC, the midwives, gynaecologist and also my own GP played down my age. Said it wasn’t a massive concern so I’m trying to keep that at the forefront of my mind but it’s sooooo hard to stay positive.

Just found out today that the third of my close friends is pregnant, she had her son 4 days after I had Edward. So happy for them all as two have been TTC for ages with pretty big health issues but it’s hit me pretty hard. I would’ve been due on Valentine’s Day- really want a BFP before then.

Lots of luck to everyone who’s still on the ‘October bus’ and let’s hope November is the month for the rest of us!!

Kayjay I’m guessing you’re on a time limit because of DH age? Hopefully it does happen soon for you then!
