So I’m currently on day cycle 12 not due ovulation yet but I should be in a few days! Trying for my second is anyone else wants to join this tread to talk about TTC come on over.
I have been tracking my cycles for a few months now but we are only trying from this month.

Did wasn’t my message! My period was due 5days again but because I have a short LP I don’t know if that makes a difference.. I hate this waiting game.. I do think I’m out that 😢

Morning @keaps when will you test? I think waiting for AF after she is due is worse than the TWW it's long drawn out hell.

@Rightnow1245 I'm a bit embarrassed I put that up last night. I just got ahead of myself after I saw someone on glow had opened theirs up and she ended up with a BFP when she tested with a FRER. We are still waiting on AF I have been looking at my partners past cycles on her OVIA app and having long cycles is definitely not new for her. How are you doing waiting so long for AF?

dosmamas We all do those things I thought I had a line over the weekend.. but I think sometimes we just convince ourselves because we want it so bad! When do you think you’ll test again? To be honest I’m so fed up now.. it’s annoying because I can’t move onto the next month because I have no idea what’s going on and I need AF to turn up.. I should nearly be on to ovulating again for cycle 2 if I wasn’t having this crazy long cycle.. I have never had one this long before 😬

@Rightnow1245 no idea, we probably won't now, zero pregnancy symptoms and five BFN's we will just wait for AF and if no AF then maybe go to the doctors, which we need to do anyway to put out feelers out there for fertility options in our area and have a fertility MOT, my partner has had three miscarriages before (with her ex) so some cycle hormone testing would
be good to know.

@Rightnow1245 what about you? This is a joke! So typical. Clockwork cycle for 18 months of tracking and two months into TTC it's decided to mess around. I get what you mean about wanting to get organised for November, I have stuff to buy and want to chat with the donor in advance but can't right now 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Dosmamas i have never thought of taking a test apart 😂i can see a faint line though!! maybe get your partner to take another one? @keaps fingers crossed AF doesnt show!

@Decgal88 I can't help myself! I like the new modern HPT but there is a part of me that doesn't trust them. The general rule is its invalid once it's been opened, but that seems to only be applicable to digital tests (like the one I posted 😅) I can't see how opening a FRER invalidates it, it's essential a normal preggo test but in a fancy holder. Don't do it though! Last night I spent three hours trying to find other people who had ended up pregnant after a Clearblue Digi BFN at 16dpo..It's a rabbit hole! 😫😫

@Rightnow1245 must be so frustrating hun maybe book a drs appt to get bloods done? has your cycke been this long before? i eould be going crazy so annoying not knowing whats going on! I know what you mean @Dosmamas hate the waiting game especially if no AF shows and BFN! when is your partners AF due?

decgal I have a Doctors appointment for next Thursday.. I called them and explained my situation and they said to come in.. I keep getting lightheaded too so maybe I should tell them that.. if AF comes before I won’t go!

Dosmamas I really have no idea when I’ll test I might just wait for my appointment now! It’s getting me down keep getting a bfn. Good idea about going to the doctors too! Think it’s always good to explore your opinions 😊 I am also googleing like mad hahaha

So I've just had a realisation my partner is taking pregnacare for the first time this month and this pre -natal seems to be renowned with messing up cycles. Honestly this is so disheartening. 😫

@Dosmamas i started taking pregnacare about 6 weeks ago but stopped as AF turned up early and it was making me feel sick, sore boobs for a few weeks! i have read quite a few reviews on it that it can mess cycles up so i stopped it! only taking folic acid and vit d combo now x

@Decgal88 ahh did you, my partner doesn't believe me!, i have just ordered some folic acid and some vit d.

So I’ve done so much googleing this evening about late BFP and I’m a little more confident that I could still get a BFP 😊 basically if implantation happened later then it can take 6-7 days to show up in my urin.. so basically if I ovulated on the 15th then the maximum time it would take is 12days to inplaint.. that’s would take me to the 27th then I would only have enough hcg to show up on a test on the 3rd November 🤔 This TTC business is a head F**k 😬

@decgal88 fingers cross the opk have helped is get our BFP this month! 🙏 I feel much less stressed this month being able to pinpoint almost exactly when I've ovulated. I had a negative OPK saturday evening, positive Sunday morning , positive Monday and my bbt had spiked Tuesday morning confirming I ovulated. So I'm feeling good ❤

fingers crossed @Rightnow1245 sounds promising hun!!! fingers crossed you get your bfp!!! but yes i agree ttc can be so complex i never realized how much until recently!! @Dosmamas yes defo worth sticking to good old fashioned vit d and folic acid!! @Cloclopops i know what you mean i kinda feel better about things and a little more in control since using the opks! have you been testing once a day? i find i get my positives in the morning?? tested Tues morn positive, afternoon looked negative but i had drunk alot of water so not sure if that contributed to it? yesterday morning positive and the afternoon was not so dark but still very visible!! we dtd Sunday, Tues, last night and this morning as we wont be able to later! fingers crossed for us all lovelies 💕

I did a test today even though I said I wouldn’t but I had some Poundland ones left over so I thought why not!
There is a very very faint line! I’m not sure if it’s a evap line or a positive!! There’s no point me posting it because I can’t get a good picture! The test I used only picks up 25miu of HCG so I might get a FRER today and test with that 😊

@dosmamas I don't know when I plan to test again. It's heartbreaking getting the BFN. Let's not even talk about how much I have spent. AF still not here yet and my sore boobs are not as sore, though still sore a bit. Don't know what to think. I spoke with a friend of mine who has a 1 yr old. She said she didn't get a BFN till 2 weeks after AF was due. So apparently let all whose AF is delayed not loose hope.

@rightnow1245 I’m so excited for you!! I am 10dpo and completely BFN on Poundland strips yesterday and today. One app says due on Tuesday the other says Monday but I have 0symptoms of af or pregnancy. Would normally have had sore boobs since ov and have had none. Also feel in a good mood and normally I’d be a little stressed with pms. Hope that faint line becomes a strong one!

@Rightnow1245 omg girl that's incredible!!!! Have my fingers crossed here so hard for you. I hope we are the same! We haven't got any tests in the house and neither of us are that bothered about testing. Getting BFN's has kind of drained our positivity and all I keep thinking is the pregnacare has messed up our chances anyway. Still no AF for my partner, no PMS no cramping nothing. Bizarre.

@Decgal88 definitely going to just go the bare necessities with vitamins, can't bare wasting time with pills that can change your cycle! I took the OCP and it took longer than 4 weeks to work!!

@keaps how amazing would that be. Your right about the cost of it all, not just financially but emotionally as well.

I've been super quiet since my first post as we had a really stressful few weeks!

Had AF feels all day and due to start on Saturday. However I did a test hoping these cramps would turn into af and I can start my next cycle more positively. How reliable are Tesco tests?
