So I’m currently on day cycle 12 not due ovulation yet but I should be in a few days! Trying for my second is anyone else wants to join this tread to talk about TTC come on over.
I have been tracking my cycles for a few months now but we are only trying from this month.

@Decgal88 yeah, we used opk to pinpoint the day of ovulation. Flo was out by one day as I got a positive opk on the day it predicted ovulation, so it happened the day after that.

Hey @chloo22, welcome here. Since you are 5 days late already I think it's a good sign. When do you want to test again? I tested today at 9dpo.. Lol.. Of course I got a BFN.. Couldn't be more patient. Well I am not testing till AF due at least I could save the money used in wasting strips.. Still hopeful though

Have my fingers crossed for everyone testing this weekend!
I am currently 4dpo, fairly confident on ov date as was temping and using opks (first time for that). I currently have zero symptoms, not even sore boobs I usually get with ov. Not due af till 6th November so am fully in the TWW eek. Trying not to think about TTC as DH is really stressed with work and I’m having a new kitchen installed so life is utter chaos. Oh, plus dog keeps getting me up during night which meant I had to do my temps 2.5hrs earlier than normal!

I’m trying to hold out until I’m 7 days late which will be Sunday.
Seem to have no sign of AF at all.. I’m super tired too over this past week, literally don’t want to do anything if I can help it and I’m usually the type that can’t sit around doing nothing Lol.
I’m just confused?!

@EMMttc I have a DS he's 3.5 and he was conceived on the first cycle! So I never thought it would take this long for #2 but that's life isn't it? :-)
Tbh we've been trying quite casually, haven't used OPK's or charted anything, we kinda just aim to DTD around the time I think I ovulate but I have a feeling I could have been doing it all wrong!

This cycle we dtd quite a bit earlier so thats why I'm hoping it makes a difference. I'm probably around 10/11dpo now but can't be too sure.

So I got very impatient yesterday afternoon and used the one test I had saved, clearblue digital and ofcourse it was a BFN. But i've heard not so good things about the clearblue ones, especially the digital so I don't know it could still be possilble I am. I'm going to buy some superdrug or FRER ones today hopefully.

@chloo22 being 5 days late is a very good sign, the most late I've been is by 2 days and I got excited but then AF came. Keeping fingers crossed for you!

@Pinkstar01 aww thanks for the positivity! - when is the best time to test again?. I’m scared of that BFN, it actually brings tears to my eyes! Hah.
Surely I should be getting some a line by now?..

@Chloo22 which tests have you used so far? Have you used a FRER with first morning urine? Maybe try that and pee in a cup, instead of directly on the stick?

@Pinkstar01, I haven’t. I’ve used Tesco’s own brand?? Don’t really know much about good tests.

So this morning I gave in and did a test IC as I couldn’t find my FRER and I think there’s a very very very faint line I will attach the photos and see what you all think.. I won’t be offended so please just be honest.. I posted on another thread and got mixed Opinions

@Rightnow1245, I tested when I was 2 days late? Or 3? Can’t actuslly remember now!. It was a Tesco’s Brand! Just a cheapy one. Got a BFN :(..
But still absolute no sign of AF

Is it possible you ovulated later? Or do you know when you ovulated? chloo

@Rightbow1245 I believe i ovulated on the 7/8th? That’s what I believe. Did spot pink/brown last week towards the end of the week. Wasn’t really sure what that was. I have no idea. My cycles and usually no longer than 28 days. They have been shorter in the past but over past 4 months I’ve been on average of 26-28 days. I’m just so confused and don’t know how any of this works!!

Well from when you thought you ovulated it’s been 18/19 days so it’s not very likely that’s when you ovulated.. The time from when you ovulate to your period is called your luteal phase and that is normally 14 days.. some Women’s is shorter and some are slightly longer but I’ve never heard of anyone having a 18/19 day LP.. So the likelihood is you have either ovulated later than you thought and are still in the TTW or You’re pregnant and it just hasn’t shown up yet 😊 either way it could just be too early to show on a test.. does that makes sense? chloo

I think so!?.. not sure never really understood it all much, very confusing. So should I wait until I’m 7 days late and test?. If still BFN and still no AF? Test again a week later?

@Rightnow1245 i think I can see something on your HPT how amazing!! You need to find that FRER stat. My partner (poor thing) says she has awful PMS, she logged this morning that she was constipated and the app said it was an early pregnancy symptom so she used the FRER and got BFN and has been upset since. we are 10dpo we don't have anymore HPT so will have to wait for either AF or 2 days late.

Do you have any symptoms?

Thanks guys. Felt low this morning and then got even more frustrated because I realised that I'll be away for most of next month on training so won't be able to DTD, so November is probably out as well! 😫

@Rightnow1245 sorry, I can't see anything! :( but it is a cheapie (and I currently can't find my glasses!) - hopefully the FRER will have a strong BFP 🤞🏽

dosmamas I really hope there is something there 🤞🏽 I can’t find the test anywhere! I thought DH hid it but he swears to me he hasn’t lol.. I’ve ordered some more and hopefully they will come tomorrow.. poor thing hopes she is feeling better tonight.. hopefully it’s to early to get a BFP and you will soon 😊 The only symptom I have today is a headache that I’ve had on and off for a few days now.. but no cramps
