Saves a year of childcare costs though 😂

Pastaallday · 01/12/2018 18:46

@HJWT Ah ok so Xmas day hopefully would be ok to start trying. Tbh my cycle is all over the place since stopping the pill so who knows when I'll next ovulate! I'll try hold out until Xmas time then perhaps to start trying properly!

HJWT · 01/12/2018 20:11

@Blondie87 that's very true ! Anyone else getting excited now it's December ?? Im so excited but scared to!

Hunkyd0ry · 02/12/2018 09:35

Glad it's not just me that is hoping for September onwards!
I explained it to my friend (who has children may age) and she said it wouldn't have even crossed her mind. I just think it will be easier for a child to start school at nearly 5 than just 4.

HJWT · 02/12/2018 13:14

@Hunkyd0ry my sister has a August baby and a September baby, the August baby was always shattered after school and went to sleep before she had her dinner 😂

Hunkyd0ry · 02/12/2018 15:33

Oh bless. They are still so little when they start!

HJWT · 05/12/2018 17:00

Think we have decided to try Jan/feb skip
March early April as don't want a December baby, there's 7 bday for us dec-early jan already 🤭

NextAdventure · 05/12/2018 18:07

Hello! We will also be TTC for our 1st come the New Year. All rather terrifying but also exciting. I’m hoping the Mumsnet club will be a source of comfort for all that is to come... I tend to overthink unnecessarily and am already feeling sick about the actual birth! Not even pregnant yet Confused
X

HJWT · 05/12/2018 20:35

@NextAdventure OMG Iv got you! I am SO scared that I will end up having a C-section and I'm not even pregnant yet 😂 it's just my biggest fear in the world I don't know why, they would probably have to put me to sleep because I'd have a panics attack which then makes me even more scared HA! Probably because Iv never even broke a finger so massive surgery like that really frightens me!, I'm scared about a lot of things now but also very excited...

NextAdventure · 05/12/2018 20:54

Nice to feel understood:) I think I’ll just put those thoughts away in a tidy box and forget about them. Far too much to get in a flap about! Good luck for TTC Smile
What will be will be. Stay healthy, take the vitamins. That much we can control x

HJWT · 05/12/2018 21:33

Anyone here recently stopped their pill ready to ttc? I'm on CD 30 waiting for my first period to return and I'm wondering how others are doing. I have a feeling I may have ovuated on the 1st Dec so AF could be a few days away. Or it could be months away!! I'm excited and anxious to get started!

LanieM87 · 12/12/2018 17:40

@boodles101 I have just come off the mini pill in anticipation of TTC next year, I’m currently CD17, only had my withdrawal last week, so I think I’ll be around CD30 before my period appears. Don’t think I’ve ovulated either.
I’ve never spent so much time thinking about my period before 😂

boodles101 · 12/12/2018 17:57

LanieM87 I know, I've never wished to get my period before! I was lucky when ttc #1 that it returned bang on cd28 and was regular from then on, so I've been hoping for the same again.

HJWT · 18/12/2018 22:27

How's everyone feelings a week till Christmas Blush

BlueJay1 · 18/12/2018 22:39

Continuing our TTC journey into the new year.
6th cycle. Sadly didn't get a Christmas BFP, let's hope for a New Years one instead. Good luck everyone 😊

boodles101 · 19/12/2018 07:14

I'm feeling excited. My AF turned up the day after my last post, I'm now on CD7 and my fertile week will be between Xmas and new year. So this is cycle 1 for #2. I'm excited and relieved that it's finally time, I've been waiting nearly all year to start ttc.

Sorry you didn't get you Xmas bfp bluejay1 think of all the lovely things you can enjoy over Xmas - alcohol, patè etc

HJWT · 19/12/2018 07:30

@BlueJay1 sorry no BFP for you! But hopefully we will all get a BFP to welcome the new year! Wink enjoy Christmas Wine

Iv had my implant removed so just waiting for AF!!

LanieM87 · 19/12/2018 11:08

I think I may be ovulating which is fab news, I’m on CD 24 according to natural cycles. So I’m hoping that AF arrives in the next couple of weeks and I can start to track properly! Coming off contraception is a pain!

Butterfliesandroses · 19/12/2018 19:09

@BlueJay1 sorry to hear you didn't get your BFP for Christmas, enjoy all the naughties while you can!
Apparently I didn't have the patience to wait until January so we ended up BDing on cd10 and cd13. Now on cd17 but I have irregular cycles and have no idea when I actually ovulate so figure that despite my impatience at least this month could be a practice round even if we weren't successful!

Butterfliesandroses · 19/12/2018 19:11

Good luck with your first cycle @boodles101

abcriskringle · 19/12/2018 19:14

Hoping to conceive in January here! It was our original ttc starting month but then had my implant out at the end of June after a change of heart. 6 months later and still no luck even though DS was conceived first try!!! Fingers crossed it's a lucky month for everyone!
