Hi ladies, can I join you? Stopped my pill last month, just waiting for first AF to start tracking cycles then planning on TTC from Jan. Our LO will be 1 in the New Year.

Butterfliesandroses · 18/11/2018 20:52

Hi ladies, I registered especially to join this group if you'll have me? Planning ttc first child from January 2019 - the struggle to wait is very real though! Grin

Jesy2019baby · 19/11/2018 00:13

Hiya, please can I join in too?? ☺️ We are TTC from January for a Sept - Nov due date! All rather exciting/nerve wracking as it will be our first! Any advice would be welcome.. x

Navy123 · 19/11/2018 02:26

May I join? Planning on ttc number 2 after Christmas - DC1 turns 1 in Jan. Have been pg the last 2 christmases so want to join in the festivities this year before I have to give it all up again!
DC1 was difficult, 3 mcs before we finally fell pregnant so trying to prepare for that possibility again as well as trying to think positive!

HJWT · 21/11/2018 14:05

@Navy123 aw I hope you get a BFP and healthy baby to 🥰🥰

HJWT · 21/11/2018 14:05

@Jesy2019baby we are hoping for the same! Don't want a Dec baby so will stop 'trying' for a month or two if nothing happens 😂 xx

Navy123 · 22/11/2018 09:11

@HJWT thanks! Last time I got a little bit obsessed 🙈 trying to remember what I did - obvs opks and lots of knickers watching but I'm sure Brazil nuts and raspberry leaf tea were involved and I'm sure a particular juice, maybe cranberry?! Hoping to go for the more relaxed approach this time!

Jesy2019baby · 22/11/2018 20:21

@HJWT we are the same. I’m a teacher so want the best maternity leave possible, but know it doesn’t always go to plan. We have both started on the vitamins and I’m using an app to track my cycle. Mainly because I find it interesting ha..trying not to become too obsessed 😅

Hunkyd0ry · 22/11/2018 20:37

Hello,
I've been waiting too. I feel like I've been counting down for ages.
I have a nearly 2 year old.
We conceived our daughter quite easily and I feel nervous about trying again as I have plans for a September/ October baby.
Lovely to meet you all!

HJWT · 23/11/2018 08:25

@Navy123 we conceived first cycle, we took vitamins used conceive plus and I tracked with an app! We wasn't even living together at the time as I worked to far away so got very lucky only seeing each other a few days a week and my DH was told previously his swimmers were none responsive, I think mine would of been though the stress he was under with his ex 🤪

I just can't wait now! Keep seeing prams and all the baby stuff on sale for Black Friday ! But I'm not aloud to buy anything but clothes this time till I'm 30 weeks, that's the only rule haha!!

Navy123 · 23/11/2018 09:56

Yeah we did too...and third, fifth, and finally seventh was the one that stuck!! Forgot about the conceive plus though so thanks, need to order some!

HJWT · 23/11/2018 21:02

@Navy123 Keep is all updated! 😌

Crazybunnylady123 · 23/11/2018 21:11

Hi. Thinking of starting ttc #2, our dd is now 19 months. Exciting!

Blondie87 · 24/11/2018 07:52

Hi ladies!
Can I join? Thinking of ttc #3 in January! Still a little on the fence about whether it’s the right thing but I think we’re just going to go for it! Definitely don’t want to miss out on all the yummy Christmas indulgence as I’ve been pregnant or breastfeeding most Christmases for the past 4 years! I’ve got PCOS so it’s taken between a year and a month to conceive so we shall see! FX for everyone!

CaramelCluster · 24/11/2018 10:21

Yay a group that's TTC in the new year! Would it be possible for me to join too? We shall be trying for DC#1 and I am currently 31.
The past year my partner has been talking about children a lot and I haven't been ready to...career reasons. Now it's flipmode and I'm talking about having children and he's not! Grin

We've had a lot of discussions since then and decided in the new year, so can enjoy work parties and Christmas with plenty of wine. Does anyone else's partner think it'll just 'happen'? Trying to drill into him that it could take us a long time but he's all in fairyland saying what months he prefers the child to be born in! Hmm

CaramelCluster · 24/11/2018 10:23

Well that's weird, all emojis are coming up as wine glasses, must be my phone! Blush

HJWT · 24/11/2018 20:28

@CaramelCluster I had to explain to my DH that you basically get one day every month to get pregnant ! Not the whole bloody month 😂

CaramelCluster · 24/11/2018 21:35

Ahahaha #HJWT boggles their minds doesn't it! Well we have some time still so I can hopefully get it into his brain we have quite a journey ahead of us

HJWT · 30/11/2018 08:07

@Blondie87 I can't wait to indulge this Christmas!! Another reason we have waited is because I will more than likely have gestational diabetes and as soon as I see that second line I will be eating like a rabbit 😂 lots of veg low sugar low carb! Hooray, so Christmas will be very foody for me this year !!

Blondie87 · 30/11/2018 17:09

Yep @HJWT I’ll need to cut out sugar and refined carbs to help with the PCOS!
I’m a teacher too so desperate for a Oct baby if possible but to be fair I’ll take a healthy baby any month 😁

Pastaallday · 01/12/2018 17:26

@Blondie87 we also would like a September onwards baby for same reasons! When are you actively TTC? This would be my first and I'm holding out till May be Xmas day to hope that would be late enough! Although I know it probably won't happen anytime soon anyway!

HJWT · 01/12/2018 17:50

@Pastaallday with our first we conceived New Year's Eve and she was due 16th September born 6th x

boodles101 · 01/12/2018 18:13

Can I join? I came off the pill 2 weeks ago and waiting for period to return then will be ttc #2. DS will be 2 in Jan. Fell pregnant on the 2nd cycle with him so hopefully its that quick this time too.
Ive done some opks and looks like im close to getting a positive - its taking everything within me to stop me from jumping on DH! We want to avoid an august baby.

HJWT · 01/12/2018 18:23

@boodles101 I think the only reason an August baby bothers me is because my heart would break if I had to send them to school straight after there 4th birthday 😂 I'm so sad x
