Has anyone missed a period (2wks late), felt v tired, been sick/felt sick, had stomach cramps, itchy nipples and 3BFNs?

I've only had 2 periods this year, so would find it hard to beleive I'm pregnant.

scorpio1 · 16/07/2007 08:13

hi, just checking in.

me and the kids have been ill a bit, and plus i just felt too shit to do much last week. sort of feeling a bit better now, just taking it easy for a week or two, me thinks. im cd11 and going well

kneazlechick · 16/07/2007 08:15

Hi Scorpio - we were getting a bit worried about you. Sorry to hear you've been poorly, hope you're all better now.

Nothing to report here, Happy Monday everyone

scorpio1 · 16/07/2007 08:16

i noticed yeah we are ok now. has been nice not thinking about ttc too much, iyswim. MN always makes me stress about it!

kneazlechick · 16/07/2007 08:19

I know what you mean. I've been able to not get too stressed so far as I've known that the chances of me getting pg have been pretty slim. Give me a few weeks when I start my course of Clomid and I'll be obsessed beyond belief!!

Take care

AussieSim · 16/07/2007 09:48

Hi Guys
Congratulations Spugs! Thanks everyone for the sympathy on my itchy trigger finger with the test - I have never been so premature before. I am CD25 and will need to test on Friday CD29 as I have a bit of a do planned Friday night and will be over cautious with the alcohol if I am not sure. I will check back in othe weekend for tea and sympathy or celebration ...

ladylush · 16/07/2007 10:48

Hi Scorpio (formerly plummy)glad you are back - was appointed by mumsnet police to investigate your disappearance Sorry to hear you and the family were ill.

moodymoo · 16/07/2007 16:28

Hi am new to this.Have spent the whole day reading messages and everyone is so nice that I felt able to try and join in. Had to end my 1st pregnancy in March when my 20wk scan showed my baby had anencephaly giving her no chance of survival. Was such a shock and has left me devestated. After a long 4 months and many problems we have finally been given the green light to start trying again.Am so worried though. Have persuaded hubbie to let me get a fertility monitor but not sure which to go for Clearblue or Persona - anyone got any advice?Just want to know that I am doing all that I can to maximise our chances.

MrsRigby · 16/07/2007 16:48

Hi moodymoo.

I'm so, so sorry to hear about what happened

I can understand why you'd be worried, but as I'm sure the doctor will have told you, the chances of you having to go through the same thing again are low.

I wish you all the best, I'm sure this time things will be different for you.

LittleSquirt · 16/07/2007 16:57

Sorry MoodyMoo, not used any fertility monitors yet so can't give you advice. Just wanted to post to say so sorry about what happened to you, it must have been so hard. But as MrsRigby said, I am sure the chances of the same thing happening again are probably close to none so I am sure you will be fine next time. Big hugs to you!

kneazlechick · 16/07/2007 17:10

Hi Ladies.

Moodymoo - so sorry to hear what happened before. Best of luck this time

That goes for everyone - the luck I mean

ladylush · 16/07/2007 22:35

Moodymoo I am so very sorry to hear about your late m/c I don't know how you get over something like that but I suppose a bfp would help quite a bit (in which case I am keeping everything crossed for you). I have just had a missed miscarriage at 12 weeks and this is the latest m/c I've had, but still not as terrible as what you have been through. I don't know much about fertility monitors - sorry. Did it take you long to conceive before?

ladylush · 16/07/2007 22:58

Hello Ditto - no we don't know eachother but I do work in MH

ladylush · 16/07/2007 22:58

Ooh sorry - wrong thread

kneazlechick · 17/07/2007 11:46

LOL ladylush

Hope everyone is OK today.

Bit quiet round here lately ...

ladylush · 17/07/2007 11:50

Hello kneazel Went to docs today. Have twisted his arm into doing some basic blood tests - well referring me for them anyway. I don't suppose they'll be atypical but it's worth a try. He told me to wait 4 months before ttc - I said not on your nelly matie! How are you?

kneazlechick · 17/07/2007 11:54

Hi ladylush

I'm OK ta. Just counting the days until I start my course of Provera. Then I'll be frantically trying not to get too excited. I must remember - Clomid is not a miracle drug. It could still take a few months.

Good luck with your blood tests. I know what you're saying but, you never know. There could quite easily be something that they can fix.

You OK in general?

kneazlechick · 17/07/2007 11:56

BTW ladylush - did you know Awen is looking for you?

ladylush · 17/07/2007 11:57

A lot of women do conceive on it though I seem to conceive fairly easily, just have problems keeping them. I'm okish thanks, some points in the day are better than others. I've got sinusitis as well, I'm so greedy

kneazlechick · 17/07/2007 12:01

Oh, yes, I know that it works. My friend has a lovely 15mo ds to prove it. But it turned her into a screaming banshee for a while too

Dh is a bit worried

Sorry about your sinusitis - that's a bugger! Had it a while back, not nice.

ladylush · 17/07/2007 12:41

But if it turns you into an amorous screaming banshee he might not mind as much

kneazlechick · 17/07/2007 12:42

ROFL!!!

Cheeky!!

ladylush · 17/07/2007 12:43

I know

kneazlechick · 17/07/2007 12:46

I'll have to let you know on that one

Or that may be a bit tmi!!

Trouble is, pretty much everyone who has taken it says that it turns them into a gibbering wreck, or a screaming banshee, or something else equally attractive. It's a wonder any dh/ps are willing to 'do their part' when their dw/p is behaving so oddly!!

ladylush · 17/07/2007 12:51

It's prep for what lies ahead when you are new parents. That makes you insane for a while. Sleep deprivation is a serious thing.
