My AF arrived yesterday so I'm off the September bus already

Age 33

This month I am going to track my cycle using ovulation strips. DTD lots last month so I'm gutted but onwards and upwards!

This is the first time I’ve looked on this thread since I joined woooo go me 😂!

I’m 7dpo and af is due on the 6th/7th! I feel no different apart from feeling like I’ve got a cold coming, sore throat in the morning but seems to disappear in the evenings 🤔!!

I was testing stupidly early the last 2 cycles and was heart broken when af eventually arrived after thinking I had a squinter! I’m not tempted in the slightest to test before af!!

I did see 2 magpies this morning, could be a sign?? 🙈 who knows but the last 2 cycles I’ve only ever seen a lonely one and all I’ve had is sorrow so perhaps tables have turned 🤞🏻

@Lubilu28 we’re at pretty much the same point! I’m 8dpo, due on the 6th, and been having cramps on and off since last night, it kept waking me up so I slept really badly. I thought maybe af was coming early but no sign of it so far.

@GiGi18 I keep thinking that I'm getting dull period type pains and had a bit of an achey lower back, but realistically that won't be anything at this point. Going try not to symptom spot too much otherwise it'll drive me crazy!! Best of luck to you, everything crossed!

A frer @KinCat. Haven’t really felt like I’ve had any symptoms so was expecting it but it’s still disappointing. I’m due af on Thursday or Friday so feel like it would be obvious by now 😞.

Question: does anyone actually bleed around time of ovulation?

I have never in my life bled in the middle of my cycle.
It's a regular 27-28 day cycle. Always has been.
Last month I took progesterone, and I had the lightest af, if I were at home I wouldn't have bothered with a pad more than one day.
I have once noticed ovulation spotting but if I didnt look at the tissue, I wouldn't have noticed the teeny bit of pink.

My uterus felt 'heavy' yesterday but I didn't think anything of it. Got up this morning and was shocked when I went to the toilet.

I should have ovulated Sunday/Monday
(I'm not charting anything this month, so don't actually know for sure)

Still haven’t got a positive OPK the only day I didn’t do one was Sunday as I was at work so hoping I didn’t miss it but we DTD Saturday night and last night due OV tomorrow but my cycles have been weird this past month or so, my AF is usually due at the beginning of the month but last month I was 5 days late and AF came ( or what I thought was AF) on the 2nd of September, it only lasted a few days and was light, which is weird for me, so we carried on trying when it left and then it came back on the 18th of September which was a full blown AF so I’m working off that for now. So that puts me on CD15 today x

Those who are testing at 10DPO - you're definitely not out yet! It's still early - better to try and wait if you can, I know it's hard but early BFNs (or BFPs for that matter) don't tell the whole story!
Meanwhile I got day 9 of a flashing smiley on the digital OPK. Am becoming more and more convinced that I ov'd on CD15/16 (am on 22 now) as that is the only explanation I can find; either that or I have skipped it this month

RaspberryBlonde I reckon you must have Ovd on the 15th? Either that or the OPKs just didnt pick it up?

Wishful30 I have had tiny bits of spotting around Ov! probably about half my cycles I notice it.

AIDE2424 you could still see a +OPK if you are only at CD15? What is your usual cycle length? You might have a short luteal phase or OPKs just dont work for you?

@TwittleBee that's what I'm thinking! I seem to remember doing the OPKs at all sorts of different times of day that week because of my schedule so it's maybe not surprising if I didn't get an obvious result. Put it this way, at least like this I have passed half of the 2WW looking out for ovulation instead of symptom spotting, so maybe that's actually a bonus!!

Usually my cycle is around 28days but like I said this month it’s been messed up, I’ll keep testing and keep DTD and see how it goes this month! Xx

@AIDE2424 what's the longest cycle you have had? Don't see this as 'messed up'. Variation by a few days is fine. My cycles have been a different length each month between 29-33days and this month opks showed I ovulate din day 27 so looking at a 40day cycle. I'd suggest to keep testing and at least when you ovulate you should know. X

No by messed up this month I mean my cycles shifted days by 2 weeks im usually due beginning of the month but AF began 2nd of September and then turned up again on the 18th so I only had 16 day cycle, so according to my App I’m due OV tomorrow but I should be due my AF

Ah I see @AIDE2424 it's really frustrating isn't it? As last month was a short cycle it might affect this one. My last one was 29 (my shortest) and now I've gone to 40! I think the opks are a godsend in this situation. It means you can also risk a dtd break if you need one! x

This is the first time ever I'm Having such a weird time.
Also the first cycle in over a year in nog using opks due to needing to switch off a bit.

I had a weird af, very light, longer than normal.
I am
Roughly 15/16dpo now, and started bleeding this morning. Wtf?
Personally I think it's too much for ovulation bleeding. And I'm mildly cramping.
Soooo what the hell is this 🤷🏻‍♀️

I even contemplated the highly unlikely chance I'm pregnant. And implantation/beginning of mc.. But bfn. Cramps not bad enough... So ruled that out.

It’s is so frustrating isn’t it, I’ll have to just see how it goes the rest of this month and keep my fingers crossed! I’ll keep using OPKS and see what happens x

I should be having my final chance at IUI next cycle, but now I don't know if this is delayed af or just random bleeding.
So unsure if I should poss wait another full cycle to asses what's going on 🤦🏻‍♀️
I guess I'll just wait and see if af arrives when it should in 2weeks time 🙄

I fell pregnant last month but mc 5weeks into the pregnancy
I followed my cycle religiously this month done the Clearblue ovulation tests and baby danced every day 5 days before and on the ovulation day

I'm currently 6 dpo and have mega symptoms

Nauseous
Tender breasts
Cold and flu like symptoms
On n off little twinges in my ovary area
Took a test today stupid I know BFN ordered first Response Test From Amazon to come tomorrow argh I hate waiting it's so intense lol

Thought i was out this month but I think what's happened is I ovulated late, due to busy lives DTD maybe 24 hours after? It's not been the most focused month I've had a lot on BUT I'm now 6 days late with absolutely no sign of AF and trust me I'm usually like clockwork a bloated tired cranky cow for 10 days before she arrives. I've POAS pretty much every day since I was a day late but no BFP yet. Am I going crazy or could I still be in with a chance?

@Kelzshandalot we're in a really similar situation. Did you wait for AF before trying again? Fingers crossed for you x

I meant to join earlier when I fell off the september bus..

Im 39 and on cycle 17 of ttc #4 with an early loss in April. At the point now where I actually don't think its going to happen at all. So I wish my heart would listen to my brain and stop spending wildly on tests!

9dpo today.
