Just curious... how long did it take you to get pregnant?

First month of properly trying for me, using ovulation tests etc and I already feel hung up on it, a tad obsessed and impatient during the two week wait.

I've read that the average is 6 months but I know it's different for everyone depending on their circumstances and was just curious to know other people's experiences!

Good luck to everyone trying StarSmile

1 month with DC1, not trying with pregnancy 2 (ended in miscarriage), 1 month with DC2 (currently 16 weeks) but I was very lucky!

GlamourBear · 22/08/2018 21:12

Three months for our first

Ellieboolou27 · 22/08/2018 21:18

3-4 months with first, year plus with second

LatteLover12 · 22/08/2018 21:21

It took me a year with DS1 then a year again for pg #2 but I lost that one. Then 6 months for DS2.

Charting my temperature helped I think.

Now ttc#3

Good luck!

Yakadee · 22/08/2018 21:23

3 months with DS and 2 months with current pregnancy - we were very lucky! X

WhatAmISupposedToBeDoing · 22/08/2018 21:25

Had implant out on June 15th
Positive test on July 13th
Now I'm 9 weeks Smile

Ubercornsdiscoball · 22/08/2018 21:51

1 year for DC1, 6 months for DC2 and probably similar for DC3 but I didn’t do any ovulation testing 3rd time round! No time!

Sparkles1992 · 22/08/2018 21:53

Good luck to everyone still trying and going through IVF! And sorry to those that have had losses, that must be so hardThanks I can't imagine how hard it must be for those that have been trying for years, just keep going Star

I got pregnant on the coil with my first, took 11 months with my 2nd. 1 month with my 3rd and the 4th was just stupid we were using the withdrawal method 😱

QueenOfMyWorld · 22/08/2018 21:57

2 months

3girlmama · 22/08/2018 22:00

Natural bfp not bop 😂

3girlmama · 22/08/2018 22:02

Oh god I just saw another typo in my last post!
7 yr TIL conceive the 4th time.
I have 3 DDs

EleanorRigbey · 22/08/2018 22:02

First month for first. Now on cycle 17 to try for 2nd and still no luck.

Bella898 · 22/08/2018 22:02

Took 6 months but then we miscarried. Waited 2 months and then started again and it only took 4 months that time

ReginaPhalange89 · 22/08/2018 22:12

My first was unplanned, second I conceived first month trying

Rockandrollwithit · 22/08/2018 22:13

18 months for DC1.

DC2 was a happy accident - one time without protection.

If you are both fertile, I really think it's just luck.

Sparkles1992 · 22/08/2018 23:17

Lots of positive stories Smile exciting, I just don't want to get my hopes up every month and then be disappointed, I need to have a more open mind about it!
