Anyone else ttc? keep seeing old posts!

Hi all,

I am new to the site and wanted to speak to other ladies who are ttc.

Is anyone else a few days post ovulation? I am now in the 2ww and trying not to obsess over it too much. I didn't use any ovulation tests but had a strong feeling I ovulated on CD14 due to a few reasons.

Would love to hear from others and where they are at so we can follow everyone's journey and keep our spirits up!

I came off my pill cerelle 2nd week in July. Had a bleed on Sunday. I'd been on it for just under 2 1/2 years.
Now going I'll steam ahead for baby no3 if we are lucky enough to conceive 😍.

SJH2018 Good luck! I'm sure the odds are in your favour if this will be baby no3! Will you be using any ovulation tests or just take chances and hope for the best?

Out of interest, how long did it take for you to conceive your last two?!

@ashers89 I'm hoping so. I'm using an app called flo but have just downloaded Ovia too. Both apps seem pretty similar. Telling when you ovulate etc.
I'm just not sure how reliable they will be with me coming off the pill & my periods not really regulating themselves yet.

I think with my last two it took around 2-3 months of trying & it wasn't really like we were trying it was a more let's just see what happens if it does then fab but this time we are actually really trying so it seems & feels different.xx

According to my app, it's 13 days until I ovulate and we can start trying! Time is going so slow lol

Hello :) I am 8 DPO. On CD 30 (I have a long cycle) so still about 6 days till AF is due!

I'm due to ovulate at the weekend, we've been doing the SMEP, am on CD11 and have been doing ovulation tests...we fell pregnant without particularly trying straight away in May but that sadly ended in MC in July so this is my first proper cycle following this!

Hi everyone! @mrss2018 I also will O this weekend! My first month of trying for 2nd baby. Not sure how accurate it is as my first true cycle after finishing poll but we will see! This will be my 2nd baby.

This will be our 2nd and I'm slightly terrified about the age gap being quite small!

Hey @ashers89 and everyone! this is my 2nd cycle ttc and first cycle tracking ovulation days. My period is 5 days late today, kept feeling like it was going to come but not anymore. Going to test today. Fingers crossed!

SJH2018 Yeah I don't know how much we can rely on these apps as I have read that women can ovulate as different times to what is 'expected'. I think the apps calculate ovulation by deducting 14 days from the next expected period. Not ideal for me as my cycle ranges from 28-34 days but definitely helpful in getting a rough idea. If I'm not successful this month I am buying the ovulation tests! Anyway, fingers crossed keep us posted!

mrss2018 Welcome! Sorry to hear about MC, i had one two years ago. But good luck for this month, sounds like you are in with a good chance! Hopefully August is our month :)

Oh I hope so! It will be the easiest tww too! Get married next week then go on honeymoon- come back the day af is due so lots going on to take my mind off it!

@mrstobe90 my little one is 2! I had bad sickness for the whole pregnancy last time so really not looking forward to it but I hate the ttc bit as I feel so much pressure, especially when everyone is asking me when we gunna have a baby! Was meant to O this weekend but been having back and period pain all day yesterday and last night and a little today so not sure if that’s it?

It sounds like it could be O. A really good (but gross) way to check is by tracking your cm.
My daughter is 6 months old. I also had horrific sickness so I'm worried about running around after a baby while sick and tired!

@ashers89 I just tested and it’s BFP! So shocking, and happy! had the same symptoms as AF, I could’ve sworn it was coming then it didn’t and my boobs have been super sore and larger! Hope to hear good news from you all too ❣️❣️❣️

@Amelia166 yes I'm trying for my first too :) what cycle are you on? I'm on cycle 3 and currently in the 2ww!

@purplestar9 I’m on cycle 2. But I wasn’t keeping track in my first cycle so didn’t pay attention to ovulation. Hopefully you’ll get a BFP soon! How many DPO are you?

@Amelia166 I'm on 10DPO today! CD32 because I have longer cycles. If AF doesn't show when I expect it to on Tuesday then I'm gonna test on wednesday I think!

@purplestar9 oh nice.. just be positive! Any symptoms so far? I feel just about normal, only that I get slightly more tired lately and get hungry often. Hopefully I don’t get that awful morning sickness. Fingers crossed 🤞
