Thanks @labmum. It's just like a slightly coloured cm now. I've changed my appointment to tomorrow as I can't wait til Friday. My head is all over the place.

AnneLovesGilbert · 24/10/2018 17:32

Sending you a massive hug hopeful. Such a head fuck.

I had a bleed at about 9 weeks and was convinced it was all over. The shock when the EPU scanned me and it was still in there and moving was so big we didn’t really speak the whole way home.

It might have been because of the big clot they found later on and I haven’t had a thing since. Or it might have been nothing at all.

We’d had a very enthusiastic shag before going out for dinner and it happened a couple of hours later at my friend’s. No pain, just went for a wee and wiped bright red and a 50p clot. Scared the absolute shit out of me tbh. It came and went over night and all the next morning then tailed off to rusty stuff and then brownish cm for a couple of days then stopped.

I really feel for you. I’d never had any bleeding in previous pregnancies, not even with two mmcs so it was a shock.

How’s the rest of you feeling? Good you’ve called in sick. Whatever’s going on in there you have to prioritise looking after yourself. Rest up. Eat well. Sleep when you want to.

Lots of love xxx

Evening, I’m on holiday and not caught up on all the posts but am sending you lots of positive thoughts @hopeful and a big hug. You must be terrified and the waiting is so hard. I’ll be keeping everything crossed that you have a good scan.

I saw a couple of posts about supplements and not sure if royal jelly was mentioned but both myself and dh took it as it’s supposed to be good for egg and sperm quality, I also drank red raspberry leaf tea, had Manuka honey and took pregnacafe max as that was recommended by the rmc, plus q10 so basically I’ve been spending lots of money at Holland and Barrett and I’ve no idea how much of it helped but it made me feel like I was doing something!

Hopefulforourrainbow · 24/10/2018 18:34

Thank you. I'm so worried. We haven't had sex since bfp so i know it's not that. Have been googling like crazy and still peeing on sticks! Dark line this am and yesterday. Still nauseous at times, nipples sore. Have been feeling so good this time round we were really thinking it would work.
Hope you're both doing well

norbert23 · 24/10/2018 19:57

All fingers crossed for good news tomorrow @Hopefulforourrainbow xxx

AnneLovesGilbert · 24/10/2018 20:36

And it really really might hopeful. Sending all the good thoughts to you and wishing for good and reassuring news tomorrow. Is someone going with you?

I really do sympathise. On the way to the hospital after my bleed I was spiralling about the future even though we hadn’t seen anyone or been given bad news, I’d pretty much accepted we’d lost it, again, and had moved on to worrying I’d never get pregnant again! You can’t help what comes up. You’ve taken one hell of a bartering with what you’ve been through and that takes an immense toll.

What time are you being seen? Will keep you in my thoughts.

Hopefulforourrainbow · 24/10/2018 21:11

Yeah my husband will come with me and take the rest of the day off if its bad news. Appointment is 11.15. They didn't have anything earlier. Bleeding seems to have stopped for now. Hopefully it'll stay that way! Thank you all for your support xxx

Lauraliverpool · 24/10/2018 21:13

@Hopeful will be thinking of you tomorrow. Lots of love. Xxx

AnneLovesGilbert · 24/10/2018 21:17

Try and get some sleep and I hope your morning goes quickly till your appointment. Will be thinking of you x

Labmum · 25/10/2018 08:15

I'll be thinking of you today and keeping everything crossed @hopeful!

AnneLovesGilbert · 25/10/2018 10:28

Me too xxx

oddsbobbins · 25/10/2018 11:06

Thinking of you hopeful

sprinkleofsunshine · 25/10/2018 11:18

Hello all,

Can I tentatively join this thread? Going into hospital tomorrow for medical management for a mmc. Should be 10wks today but stopped developing at 6weeks. Not sure what to expect, but worried and anxious, had 2 mc previously but both have started with bleeding themselves. No children.

Hoping period will return ok as I was very regular before and we can start ttc again shortly. Will be having genetic testing done after tomorrow and hopefully testing on myself/partner if needed now I have had 3.

Anyone been in a similar position?

Hopefulforourrainbow · 25/10/2018 15:08

Hey not long home. I can't believe I'm writing this but there's a strong heartbeat! Measuring at 6+4. My guess was 7 weeks today so not far off. They couldn't see where the bleed came from so they're thinking its the cyclogest irritating my cervix. Got to use back instead of front now. Not sure how I'll get on with that and IBS but I'll give it a go. Have been using that route since Tues night anyway. Next scan booked for 15th Nov and I've to call them if there's any more bleeding. Thank you all for your well wishes xxx

Hi @sprinkleofsunshine. Sorry you've found yourself here. I've had a similar story but the other way round. My 1st mc was mmc at 13 weeks but had stopped growing at 5+6, 5 months after I miscarried naturally at 5+6 and then had a ?ectopic the following month. It took a while for my cycle to return to normal.

sprinkleofsunshine · 25/10/2018 15:21

Thank you @Hopefulforourrainbow and congratulations on your new pregnancy. Did they test after you're third one/ were you given any supplements or did anything different time?

Hopefulforourrainbow · 25/10/2018 15:44

Thank you. Yes, all my tests came back ok. We took a 6 month break from trying, I took seven seas trying for a baby, 50mg vitamin b6 for the month before bfp, went on holiday, relaxed and had lots of sex! Didn't track ovulation at all this time. Since bfp I've been on aspirin, cyclogest and I've been taking pregnacare plus vitamins.

Labmum · 25/10/2018 15:45

Congratulations @moonpeace. Hopefully this will be our turn. Have you considered low dose aspirin too?

Miami81 · 25/10/2018 16:42

@Hopefulforourrainbow great news.

So pleased to hear that @hopeful, what a relief for you!
Sorry to hear of your losses @sprinkleofsunshine, I hope you can start to get some answers and that your cycle comes back quickly.
Congratulations @moonpeace, I can empathise with the anxiety, I’m 12 weeks tomorrow and still struggling with the worry which affects my sleep which in turn makes the sickness worse!

My consultant said there's no harm in giving it a go. I would have started it whether he said that or not!
