I usually have to literally get butt naked and straddle my DH and take his phone out of his hand / turn the telly off to get his attention sometimes!

To be fair, it never fails!

They are so easy to get what we want from them - ttc has actually made me far more confident in initiating tbh! Before I would never have tried it on at the times I have done these past 2 months, and he's still been up for it!

@MrsR16 totally! We're all here for the same thing, might as well have a laugh about it and it's nice to know everyone is in the same boat, has the same challenges and frustrations. Also can be very educational in terms of what lube is best for your boat and general equestrian tips! 😂

@Delilah7 @Crossfitgirl I think I'm the sex crazed one on this thread, I LOVE initiating 😂😂😂 I think TTC is just making me crazy horny, I'm fancying DH as the potential father of my baby too, I'm all over the place 😂😂

I've just checked (even though we've DTD) my CM is definitely egg white!! I let DH nap too he really can't hack this much sex but I lay there and tried some of the mindfulness techniques from that link below, and I'm feeling a bit better and positive xx

I have never initiated sex, so this is all new, though I'm not quite as sexy doing it as you girls, my poor husband gets "come on then, it's sex night". I know how to treat a man

Cycle day 24 for me now, and I think about 9 or 10 dpo. Been trying to ignore the crampy/twingy feelings I've been having for the past couple of day as 1) I dont want it to be AF (although she isn't due til Sunday at the earliest) and 2) Ive symptom spotted before and it's never turned into a bfp. Although that being said I've had some weird aches in that area (like I've spent a day horse riding!) and been in bed by 9:30 the last couple of evening where I feel so tired...... Just trying my best not to make too much of it at the moment 😐

I have a couple of frer tests - but not sure when would be best to use them?

@MrsM2017 think they can detect up to 6 day's early so your call hun.

Thank you everyone, I think the worst thing about the TWW is the build up, and sheer hope that TTC would have worked only for AF to come along, shatter baby dreams and make me feel like crap.

Thank you crossfit, I’ve concluded that I might have overreacted. I’ve gone back through my cycle data for 2018 and 27 days is apparently my average cycle length and I ovulated on day 14-15 so I’m hoping that won’t be a problem. Plus, I suppose a shorter cycle length kind of means a shorter TWW!

If I get pregnant this cycle I will be amazed, diet has gone to pot, I am drinking a good amount of prosecco.
DH will be so smug if I do get pregnant as he thinks I am silly to reduce drinks and diet.

@Patapouf oh no. Sorry to hear that af turned up. Bad timing on the baby shower front. These things always seem to be the worst timed.

@Crossfitgirl - we don't have a high sex drive at all. It was much better 10 years ago at the start of our relationship but now it's once or twice a week if that. Sometimes once or twice a month.
I am completely the same with initiating - I never initiated at all and now I am always the one to initiate!

@daisiesandpeonies my skin is SO BAD after ovulation. Such a pain in the arse. It also gets really oily. Not pretty. I miss my pill skin.

@MrsM2017 good luck! My test day is 12dpo and I think that is a good time to test to rely that it is likely a true result. 🤞🏻

@MrsM2017 I don't know how you have so much control!! I would've used them by now 😂 I suppose it's best to hold out though, they are so expensive! I'm just not going to buy any, that way I don't use them 😂

@CrystalBlaze sounds promising! Biggest thing I find with symptom spotting is trying to realise whether I'm actually feeling something new, or whether it's in my head because I want it so badly 😂

@cupcakesandglitter @FlapJackered definitely a thing! For me my skin goes to shit just as I get EWCM so it's another sign that I'm ovulating that I rely on lol. I get the same when I come on too
