AF late but 2 BFN?

I feel as though I’m loosing my mind! Did the deed on the last day of my period and the following day now period is late this month. I’ve tested twice and both BFN. I’m not a regular charter of my cycles but I know they’re usually in and around 28-30 days. I’m now 2 days late, no usual pms symptoms and had a little cramping yesterday morning but felt different to period cramps? Can anyone tell me if they or others have gone through this and got their BFP? Slim chance I know with doing the deed so close after period ending. Thank you in advance

I dont think your pregnant as you ovulate around 14 days after ur peirod if u have a regular cycle, prob jst late x

This happened to me but unfortunately ended in chemical pregnancy. Hopefully you get a proper bfp or just late though.

I had countless negative tests but only got my positive around 5/6 weeks pregnant even though I was testing from 5 days before period was due... in my mind I knew I was because I just felt it! Good luck xx

Hi! I’m currently 3 days late and had a BFN today, we DTD on cycle day 12 which I though was too early to catch ovulation this month. We’ve been trying to conceive off and on for about a year now and I’m really hoping I’m pregnant! Has anyone had anything similar and when do you think I should re-test? Thanks in advance :)

Sounds as though you’ve a better chance than me Firsttime36. Don’t they say to test again in 3 days in AF hasn’t arrived by then? Everything crossed for you! X

I'm 11 days late and last test at 8 days late it was bfn! Going to test again on Sunday! Avoiding googling (yeah right ) as I don't want to get my hopes up. How are you keeping your mind from getting too hopeful? Xx

I am trying to keep busy so I don’t obsessively google. Only three days until another test to check.

Are you testing every three days? I think I’ll give testing a miss tomorrow and the following day and go again on Friday. If nothing arrives between now and then.

AF arrived bright and early this morning :( At least I can get on with a new cycle and try again!! Good luck to you ladies who are still in this month fingers cross d for you all xxx

No, I last tested at 8 days late. Giving it until 14 days late in case AF just wanted to be really late?

Made an appointment with my GP this morning. Still no AF and still BFN. It’s so unlike me to be this late (cd33 today). Anyone else have any updates?

About 7 months into ttc I had a cycle where I was 5 days "late" for no apparent reason, despite every other cycle being like clockwork. Could have been a chemical (although I never had a bfp), maybe I ovulated later than I thought for some reason, who knows? It's unfortunate when ttc but generally if you're late and still getting bfns then chances are you're not pregnant. Hopefully you'll be the exception though!

I was with my GP this morning who is almost sure that I am along with the symptoms I’m having. She did a test which was negative also but gave me two to bring home and to test again in 7 days. She said that everything adds up to me being pregnant even with DTD straight after my period. So I’m holding out hope, but also weighing up that it might not be so I’m not dreadfully disappointed if AF arrives.

Just to add...she did say a lot of women’s hcg takes a while to build up to show in a test so who knows, I might be one of the lucky ones! Have you gone on to give birth @SoozC

Not yet. After 20 cycles we got a bfp but miscarried at 7 weeks. We conceived again 5 cycles later and I'm currently 20 weeks. By the time the baby is born it'll be 3 years since we started ttc, so not the easiest journey, but thankful all now seems fine.

I’m new around here so I don’t have a clue what all of the acronyms mean but I’m in a similar position to you. I’m now 8 days late for my period but have had 4 negative tests. It’s either my HCG levels are not high enough or I haven’t ovulated this month for some reason. I’ve never been late on a period! It’s driving me mental x

@TokenGinger I’m seven days late, CD 34 today. It’s worth hanging on a few more days but I know the wait is absolutely dreadful. GP yesterday said that my levels obviously aren’t high enough to come up on a test but by what this test this morning tells me, well I hope anyway, is that they are starting to rise.

@firsttime17 Indknt know the difference between evap line and BFP? I thought the line was too narrow but then everyone says a line is a line? Don’t know what to be thinking!
