I feel as though I’m loosing my mind! Did the deed on the last day of my period and the following day now period is late this month. I’ve tested twice and both BFN. I’m not a regular charter of my cycles but I know they’re usually in and around 28-30 days. I’m now 2 days late, no usual pms symptoms and had a little cramping yesterday morning but felt different to period cramps? Can anyone tell me if they or others have gone through this and got their BFP? Slim chance I know with doing the deed so close after period ending. Thank you in advance Smile

It's so hard to know the difference! I did a clear blue when I was pregnant and there was the faintest of lines, everyone I showed told me it was an evap but then a week or so later I got a definite positive... really hope it's your BFP🤞🏼 x

Ah this is just cruel! 😂 I’ll test again in the morning and see if the line is darker!

Fingers crossed for you Roller, I really hope it’s a positive outcome Flowers

Hi Rollerball84 i don't want to build up your hopes but this happened to me and I'm sitting here with my little baby now 😊.

After a year of trying and with a fairly regular cycle, I missed my period, and got a BFN. I tested again the next day, and the next, and again and again for over 2 weeks (pure torture)- BFNs every day, but still no period.

I booked an appointment with the GP, but that very morning on the 17th day late I got my BFP myself!! I went to the GP anyway to confirm... the bloodtest said my HCG levels were very low to be that many weeks so be prepared to miscarry. I had miscarried previously so was devastated.

Anyway turns out it was just a slow burner (or something) -quite unusual- but 9 months later my gorgeous little baby was born! She went 2 wks over (induced at 42 wks) which may or may not have been related to the initial 2 wks of BFNs. Wishing you all the best!!

Wow that’s amazing! Delighted your have your little bundle now after all that testing! 2 weeks is just pure torture, how did you do it? 😂 I’m keeping everything crossed x

Have you done any more tests? What about the ones with the word 'pregnant' rather than the line?

Rollerball84 · 14/08/2018 13:58

Tests are still negative, clearblue digital on Saturday morning ‘not pregnant’. Still no AF, so sick every morning when I wake up, boobs are killing me. I don’t know what to be thinking at all!

Well... it's not over till the bi-atch arrives! Best of luck!

Beautifulblue · 14/08/2018 23:47

If you only DTD 1 & 2 days after your last period you're not pregnant. Your period can be late for a whole hosts of reasons. Even if you're 'regular' it's not unheard of to completely skip a period some times. Sorry OP, I don't want to sound harsh but basic biology tells you that the chances of you being pregnant are slim to none. If you're actively TTC timing is everything! Not sure why your GP was so convinced you were pregnant Hmm good luck...

Rollerball84 · 14/08/2018 23:58

I guess she was convinced because I’m having multiple symptoms which are, as the days go on, getting worse. I did also ask her about DTD so close after my period had finished and she said there was still a chance there. We literally only started TTC so I have not charted anything whatsoever. I only posted to see if by any chance anyone else been in the same situation as me or similar. I know basic biology, I know how it all works. I will update whether AF arrives or I do eventually get my BFN. Thanks.

Well I hope you get the outcome you want OP, id love nothing more than to be wrong. Good luck Flowers

Had my app with GP again this morning. Another negative test so she took bloods and they will be back tomorrow afternoon. I also have a kidney infection but she said that wouldn’t affect the delay in AF. So tomorrow is D Day, one way or another. If bloods are negative also she is referring me for an ultrasound to find out what is going on. CD39 today.

Rollerball84 what happening in the end?

Rollerball84 · 30/08/2018 22:01

Hi @user122. My bloods didn’t come back on the Friday so I had to wait until Monday however I ended up in A&E on the Sunday morning having a miscarriage. When my gp called me with the results on Monday before I could tell her what had happened the previous day she said my hcg levels were very low and she suspected a miscarriage was imminent. I’m just taking time for myself now and won’t be ttc for another while. All of it really took the wind out of me and I was absolutely devastated. But I’ve been pregnant and given birth once before it will happen again.
