Hi ladies. We reached the max posts!! @BambiOnIce80 I'm feeling ok, just feel abit silly. My flo app says I'm due tomorrow but I am always 28 days and always have cramps which I don't have yet. How about you xx

@CrystalBlaze yes it is, but its making me nervous! just assumed you DTD and ta-da a baby... I wasn't quite right. google says that I should be able to test 10 days post ovulation so perhaps next weekend would be better.

@Lauren2sim if you had a positive opk on Friday, you'll have ovulated between then and Sunday. So at most, you're 4 dpo, but probably less. It takes 7-12 days for a fertilised egg to implant and you have no pregnancy hormones until then. It takes a few days for then to get strong enough to test, so I'm afraid you've got a while to wait yet. The good news is, you're not out yet!

@CrystalBlaze I'm 3 cycles in and I still haven't had a positive opk. Close, but not quite.

Hi everyone 👋 Have just officially started trying again after a miscarriage in June. Trying to be very relaxed about it, just DTD when we feel like it and hope that we end up making a baby! My boobs were the first sign of my previous pregnancy so I kind of know what to expect.. Will just try to remain relaxed and DTD as and when we feel like it and hope for the best 😊🤞

Hi all, I commented on the last thread but I have changed my name since then. J was late on my period but hadn't actively started trying but we're planning and then AF came. We have been away and are now ready as ever to start trying.

However, I have 3 period apps and all if them say I will be ovulating on different days! 3rd, 4th and 8th of August. I was wondering if we should just crack on dtd every other day from tonight and I start doing OPKs to see which app is correct?

My periods have been a bit out of whack recently so not too sure what's going on!
Also im curious, has anyone tried things like pre seed lube etc?

@Whowouldhavethoughtit every other day should cover it. OPKs might help but don't work for everyone. I temp too but that's only helpful to show after you've ovulated.

I know this is so stupid but this evening my back is killing me and I have cramps again where I had them last month. I'm trying and failing not to get my hopes up!

I have recently stopped taking the CP and ttc with my partner of 13 years I am 32 he’s 35.
I’ve not yet seen a period and stopped taking my pill at the beginning of June.
I gues I joined because I’m feeling a little lonely and lost at the moment and would be nice to talk with others who maybe going through the same 😊. Hope you all don’t mind x

@ChaosMoon I am expecting not to get a +v OPK this month but am hopeful. CD 12 and no sign at all so far, not even a hint of a line but from tracking cycles previously think I can expect to around Cd16/17 if it happens.

@Whowouldhavethoughtit, I tried the conceive plus version of preseed last month. I didn't get pregnant, but I'll certainly be trying it again. The science theory behind it sounds quite plausible and it makes things pretty 'comfortable' if you're beginning to suffer from too much DTD! The instructions say you can apply it up to 15 minutes before DTD, so it doesn't have to be a mood killer either 👍

Thanks chaos, I’ve managed to input the last 7 months since coming off the pill. I like the fact that it actually adjusts based on your test data which Kindara did not! I gave temping a go for a couple of weeks but my temp varied so much day to day and I couldn’t manage it consistently at the same time every morning and without getting out of bed for a wee first

I’ve had a positive OPK today so I’m thinking I will ovulate tomorrow-Thursday, is that right? Today is CD12, so I should wait until the 13th to test at the earliest?? AF would be due 16th Aug. Please someone tell me if I’ve muddled this, I’m still getting to grips with OPKS and luteal phases etc etc

@Patapouf you're right you've got the next 24-48 hours to DTD. Then after that you sit on your hands til 16 August (if you can!) xx

I'm 8/9 days dpo. Rn I have back ache nd I'm really tired/sleepy (past 3/4days).
I also just got the cold, so all I do is sleep now.
AF due 6/7 August.. Plan to wait for a missed period, dnt wanna get my hopes up..

@Tash32 I came off of the pill in October after being on it for 11 years. I had my first period 4 weeks later. My periods were regular for 5 cycles. My 6th cycle was 5 days late, I thought I was pregnant, but turns out I wasn't. I was pregnant the following month but sadly the pregnancy wasn't viable, I had a blighted ovum. So now time for us to try again! Hopefully your period makes an appearance soon 🤞

Oh I’m sorry to hear that. I hope so too. I was on the pill for about 14 years. So didn’t expect normality but just a little concerned that I’ve seen nothing at all. Good luck trying xx

I have been watching this thread for a while, and thought I'd stop being a lurker and say "hello" :)

Me and my DH are just starting the journey TTC. I have had my mirena coil removed, we are taking our conception vitamins, and once I have had my first AF post-coil, it will be game on! (I've had no AF for the 9 years I had the coil, so I'm a little anxious it may never return).

I just wanted to thank you all for sharing. It is heartwarming to know that there is a kind support community here. I wish you all the best!

At the start of a new cycle does anyone else do a check to see what their due date would be if you got pregnant this month? Or is that just me 😂🙈

@40cmsanta, welcome 🙂 I had my minerva removed in April. I was an exception to the rule though because my periods didn't stop when I was on it (as I said previously, I don't think even a nuclear apocalypse could stop mine!). The point of the coil though is that your fertility should just snap back to whatever is normal for you immediately, so hopefully you won't be waiting long for AF.

@RanchoRelaxo I must admit I did look this month (just because I was feeling queasy and optimistic that this could of been the month 🙄) and it turned out it would have coincided with my birthday... which I wasn't keen on!! I can put that in the list of positives for the fact that AF turned up this cycle 😄
