Hi ladies. We reached the max posts!! @BambiOnIce80 I'm feeling ok, just feel abit silly. My flo app says I'm due tomorrow but I am always 28 days and always have cramps which I don't have yet. How about you xx

Welcome new ladies. @Hofty don't panic, sperm can stay inside for up to 6 days and an opk can find your peak up to 3 days before you ovulate. So if you dtd earlier in the week or bd today, you're still in with a chance.

@CookieWaffle @Simplethings121 I'm with you all the way. Sat DH down last night and gave him a ttc presentation. No slides, but plenty of charts and I made him take notes!

Tbh everyone it's all dawned on me now abit miscarriage etc so I'm abit of a mess now. This is my first ever pregnancy I'm 23 I don't want to lose it :(

It is. I'm 5dpo. Had some annoying spotting yesterday that I am studiously ignoring as I know it's too early to be anything. Come Friday, I'll be symptom spotting with the best of you though! How are you doing @BambiOnIce80?

@ChaosMoon maybe wait till 9 weeks to tell him, I'll have to tell him soon it'll be bugging me 😂😂😂

@ChaosMoon symptom spotting totally sucks, doesn't it?! Despite my chilled attitude a couple of days ago, the symptom spotting has literally consumed my entire day 🙄 I try mentally shaking/slapping myself to snap out of it, which will maybe work for a whole 30 minutes, and then my boobs will twinge and I'll think "oooh, maybe..." Gahhhhhh! Sending myself loopy!

I'm currently moping because, despite being uncomfortable all day, my boobs now feel completely normal, which probably means my progesterone levels have crashed because my body has worked out that I do not have a bun to keep in the proverbial oven. Team that with the fact that I ovulated CD15, meaning my cycle will probably be 30 days this month instead of the usual 28, which in turn means AF isn't due until Monday, scuppering my plans to hit the gin and tonics on Sunday's date night because I won't know for sure that I'm not pregnant until the next day. It's totally messing up my 'disappointment treat' plan!! 😕

@BambiOnIce80 ahh that sucks, I have got a stash of internet cheapy tests to use towards the later end of the tww if I want to go out and drink, 'drink till it's pink' and all that haha

@ChaosMoon it's risky though isn't it telling people before 12 weeks :(

@Delilah7 I think if it went wrong for me then I would like the support from my close friends and family, so I would definitely tell them before 12 weeks, just wouldn't go telling everyone

And @Delilah7 - I hope you're still going to have some Ben and Jerry's tonight, just in celebration rather than commiseration?! You can totally get away with it - you're eating for two now 🍨😉

Huge congrats delilah!! I think it’s probably fairly normal to worry about risks early on, I know that as soon as I’m lucky enough to get a BFP I’ll move from worrying about fertility to miscarriage.

I think I would probably tell my DM and DH immediately but wouldn’t share it with friends that I would expect support from until at least the first scan.

@delilah7 just wanted to say congrats I remember you from previous threads!! Happy you got your BFP :-) xx

Don't apologise @BambiOnIce80. Didn't you say this was the first time you've used opks & the first time you've ovulated that late? Could be you just have a slightly shorter luteal phase. I found that when I started temping. Natural Cycles & Clue agree on af but not on ovulation because clue only uses averages.

@RanchoRelaxo I think we were. I agree, the people you'd want to support you if it doesn't work out are probably worth telling early. I'd keep the numbers small though.

OMG @delilah7 Amazing amazing amazing!!!! Congratulations!! I honestly cant wait for that feeling.
I completely understand feeling worried about losing something you've waited what seems like forever for but all i can advise is try to enjoy it!
