@BambiOnIce80 we syringed me 9 times during fertile week and starting first TWW (more like 11 day wait) today!

Back recovered a bit. Danced at a wedding last night. Now firmly back out. Ehlers Danlos Syndrome is fun.

Delilah7 · 12/08/2018 10:20

O@BambiOnIce80 yep, excited by abit nervous too! Looks like you covered everything!! Xx

BambiOnIce80 · 12/08/2018 10:26

Oh, poor you @ValidUser! One of my work colleagues has Ehlers Danlos, so I know a little bit about it from her. She had her last baby at the age of 46... not sure if she had your initiative to embrace the syringes though 😉

Try not to drive yourself nuts symptom spotting over the next 11 days (says someone who always tries and fails not to drive herself nuts during the TWW 🙄). It never fails to amaze me how every little twinge you'd never normally give a second thought to takes on huge significance and is obsessively analysed as a sign of implantation during the TWW!

I think TWW time is a bit like dog years versus human years - 1 TWW day feels like 1 normal month 🤔

RanchoRelaxo · 12/08/2018 12:10

@Bambi I don't think so yet, usually ovulate around cd20 I think, but not sure if these vitamin C tablets might have an effect on that this month.. am using my clear blue digital ovulation kit and it still shows a clear circle so nothing yet! Sounds like we are both doing everything this month with extra supplements and stuff, keeping everything crossed for you 😁
@ValidUser hope you have a speedy and successful tww!

ValidUser · 12/08/2018 14:29

You're so right Bambi! I'll try not, but I'm already starting! Will try my best to wait for a late AF to test. May be a lot to ask of myself though. 😂

Happy Sunday everyone Smile. I’m suffering with very bad nausea now coupled with heightened sense of smell making it worse Confused and still trying to determine if this from coming off the pill or not. I went to the doctor Friday and he did a pregnancy test which was -ve but has said it may be too soon to tell. The logic part of me doubts very much that these will be pregnancy symptoms as I think it would be far too soon too tell as only came off rhe pill end of July and only been trying for last week/fortnight but I can’t help but get my hopes up. I genuinely wouldn’t mind feeling so sick if it was down to being lucky and pregnant but right now hating my body as it’s probably not that. Needed to vent and get it out my system sorry. Xx

Glitzy07 · 12/08/2018 15:07

Afrernoon everyone!! How's everyone ? We completed on our house on Friday so been very busy with the move!! Still unpacking as we speak and back to work tomo for 2 days then it's my birthday and can chill :) congratulations @cookiewaffle!! Soooo pleased yay.

Delilah7 · 12/08/2018 15:10

@laura1405 I had this when I first come off the pill, obviously you could be we never know and it would be so lovely if you were but I had this for 3 months after I came off... think it's pretty normal for your head and body to do things that are related to pregnancy but for coming off pill signs.

@Glitzy07 yay!!!!! New house 😍😍😍 now time to relax!!

I finally did a pregnancy test morning... so our 1st cycle, been taking prenatal vitamins for a couple of months or so, coq10, l'arginine and conceive plus lubricant and we BD 2 days which I think from my Ovia app works out a day before and after ovulation. AF was due last Sat/Sun, I held off testing til this weekend. Ordered it online as was so busy with the move and arrived today... did the test... :)

Congratulations @Glitzy07!!! ❤️

Glitzy07 · 12/08/2018 15:18

@crystalblaze Good luck, do you feel super tired? The only symptoms I really got were super tiredness, tender boobs when I touched them, got a cold and sore throat which apparently can be a sign. Hope baby dust comes your way, not long now til you know Smile

Glitzy07 · 12/08/2018 15:20

Thank you @validuser we're super excited! We didn't think it would happen so quick. I always felt it would take forever I'm 31 this week and my partners 6 years older so always thought we'd have issues but we've been very lucky. Obviously only early days. The clear blue says 2-3 wks means 5 wks from last period which works out the same as what I thought so if am goes well an April baby xx

Glitzy07 · 12/08/2018 15:22

@validuser just saw your previous posts about your 2ww next week, good luck!! Wishing you lots of baby dust your way xx

Delilah7 · 12/08/2018 15:22

@Glitzy07 oh my gosh!!!! I'm loving all these BFPS. I'm so excited for you!!! New house new baby they say 😍😍😍😍

I'm taking pregnacare continued from obviously before, trying to be every other day if not every 2/3 day's in the cycle. Anything else I should be doing? I notice my CM too.

OP posts:
BambiOnIce80 · 12/08/2018 15:24

I hear you @ValidUser - I swore to myself that I wouldn't test until at least 3 days post AF being late from now on... until last cycle when it became clear that if I didn't it'd unnecessarily stop me from enjoying cocktails on a night out 🍸😄 If you do cave in and test early, please make sure you get one that has sensitivity for HCG down to 10IU/ml. Less chance of getting a false BFN that way. The normal ones are usually only sensitive down to 25IU/ml, so they're not designed for an early test and you'll be wasting your money.

Don't ever apologise for being frustrated (especially about symptom spotting!) on here @laura1405 🙂 You're in very good company with us!

I felt horribly nauseous with a heightened sense of smell for 2 days last cycle right before AF was due and had never been so convinced that I had finally gotten pregnant. Then woke up the next day with no nausea, a BFN and AF rocking up 3 hours later 😕 I feel your pain! Rant away 😉x

laura1405 · 12/08/2018 15:28

@BambiOnIce80 thanks so much, I feel less like I’m going mad now haha. I’d love to be pregnant but if it’s my first AF due I’ll be glad to see it if it stops this nausea, I’ve not been able to eat in days which is not like me, I love my food Grin xx

BambiOnIce80 · 12/08/2018 15:30

Congratulations @Glitzy07!! 🎊💐🎉So many exciting things happening for you with a new house and BFP!x

Glitzy07 · 12/08/2018 18:04

@delilah7 I'm no expert lol it was my 1st go at it, feel very blessed. I guess for us neither of us stressed about it, we had just came back from holiday so we we're relaxed and had the house to look forward to. I read before hand online after you BD to jeep your legs up abit for 20mins or so to keep all the special stuff in lol... sorry tmi. Yep definitely keep on top of CM as soon as it's thin and stretchy that was the best time to BD. I used CoQ10 which I heard is suppose to enhance fertility and conceive plus lubricant... We don't usually use lubricant but I read super excellent reviews that people conceived 1st time using it and it seems to have worked for us. Worth trying. Really wish you all the best for a successful BFP xxx

Glitzy07 · 12/08/2018 18:08

@bambiOnIce80 thank you! Hopefully the lottery next 😊🤞 they say come in 3s... Lol. Still early days but hopefully will all be fine. Xx

Glitzy07 · 12/08/2018 18:09

@delilah7 thanks by the way 😘😘

Delilah7 · 12/08/2018 18:19

@Glitzy07 no problem. Looking forward to getting another BFP sometime and hoping it sticks this time! xx

@CookieWaffle thank you! I guess I'll find out for sure tomorrow!

@Glitzy07 congratulations! So exciting!

purplestar9 · 13/08/2018 07:08

@laura1405 I hope what you're experiencing is a BFP! My first cycle off the pill was an interesting one also, I had so many pregnancy symptoms it's unreal. But I did later read that it's common when first coming off the pill. I had convinced myself I was pregnant - and I was late for AF!

CookieWaffle · 13/08/2018 07:44

Oh congratulations @Glitzy07!! How exciting :)

CrystalBlaze · 13/08/2018 08:11

Ahhhhh @Glitzy!!!! Congratulations! So exciting and great timing with your new house.

In answer to your question - I am really tired but boobs seem okay at the moment. But...and sorry for tmi...DP and I DTD last night and the only way I can describe it is I felt a sort of discomfort in my lower abdomen. Had light twinges on one side all day yesterday too and they were different to usual AF type cramps. I'm going to hold off testing till the weekend though.

@laura1405 completely understand your frustration! You just want to know either way! But fingers crossed x
