So... I got my BFP. I should have said on Friday but I didn't want to rub it in after some of the bad news people had had. I think I was overthinking it. Then this morning I had some bleeding and had to rush to the doctor. She thinks it's probably ok, but I'm having a scan tomorrow to see what's happening. This roller coaster doesn't stop does it?

@Hofty you're not out until AF comes. The hormones you're testing for double every 2-3 days, so give it a couple of days before you test again. Or even wait until AF is due of you can. I know it's hard though!

I got a +ve OPK this morning and DTD this evening but it's now negative. Didn't DTD in the days leading up so a bit worried Ive missed the window.

Haha well we're at my mums this week whilst waiting to complete on our house so I said we'll wait til the weekend haha. Also if it is a BFP i know i won't be able to keep it a secret and i don't want to tell mum yet as she will tell the world!! Lol . I also used preconceive lube which is the same stuff as preseed so it would be amazing if we also got a BFP... will update you on the weekend :)

Anything that helps keep the testing madness at bay has to be a good thing @Glitzy07.

@CrystalBlaze the LH surge only lays for about 6 hours, so if it was positive in the morning if expect it to be gone in the evening. Ovulation actually happens up to about 36 hours later though, so if you dtd the same day, you'll have hit the window.

@CrystalBlaze @ChaosMoon I'm ok, I'm back st work but if I'm honest I don't know if I'm ready. Mentally and physically. My OH's cousins announced yesterday she was 15 weeks pregnant and I just burst into tears, it's just not fair.... it's just so tough. Really really is.

Are you sure you should be back at work this soon @Delilah7? It's going to take much longer than a few days to get to grips with what you've just been through. I'm not surprised you got upset at your DP's cousins news 😔

@BambiOnIce80 I don't think I should be but I don't know what to do. It's all like a delayed reaction. I'm currently balling tiring here writing to you guys. 😭

@Chaosmoon Congratulations on your BFP! I hope your scan goes well today, hopefully the bleeding was nothing to worry about it.

@Delilah7 There isn't anything I can say to make you feel better but just wanted to let you know that I'm thinking of you. Personally I think being at work can be a good thing as it's a distraction, I think if you stay home it will be all that you think about and could potentially make you feel worse. Chin up and try to focus your energy on thinking about the next time for you, when hopefully everything will be perfect ♥️

Delilah7 could you get a sick note from the doctors? You need time to recover from this mentally and physically and rushing back to work when your not ready won't help

@Virgo89 @RanchoRelaxo I thought I'd be happy to be back at work as I do love it here but unfortunately I think it's only just hit me last night and today so I'm all over the place. I'm going to speak to my doctor and see what she advises. Even if it's just for another few days or so :(

Oh Delilah7 you poor thing, its so tough. Definitely speak to your GP and maybe a trusted person at work and make sure you get all the time and support you need

@CrystalBlaze I don't want to go in a downward spiral as others have it so much worse than me and manage to pick themselves up. But I wanted this baby so much and it's all I've ever wanted. :(

@Delilah7, I totally understand you not wanting to slip into a downward spiral. It's soooo hard to be able to see positives in such a painful situation, but try to hold onto the fact that you now know you can get pregnant and it WILL happen again, probably very soon.x

Of course not! Take a couple of days to get yourself right and then go back when you're ready to get back into the swing of things.

@CrystalBlaze spoke to GP. She said I can take as much time off as I need. I did say I'd probably only need another few days but I just feel abit silly. I was only 5 weeks there's so many people worse off than me :/ xx
