Starting 2ww once again! Who's with me?

Looks like another 2ww for me, anyone else just Starting? I'm only 2DPO so still 12 days to get through!

Age - 25
TTC #2
Cycle 5
CD 16 on a 27 day cycle (usually)
Only 2 DPO
AF due 25th July

Think I'm going to test on Sunday too... jumping on the band wagon! AF due Wednesday so it's a bit early. Don't have any tests in so it depends if I manage to nip out to get any before then.

I’ve got some pound shop HCG tests does anyone know how reliable they are? Probably going to test monday if my period hasn’t come but they’re all i’ve got in!

I’m 14dpo according to my tracker app but not sure how true that is as the chemical really screwed up my cycles!

That's what I have as well @mmmgoats so wondering the same thing.
They are the ones I am going to use in the lead up to when AF is due but will go and get a FRER if it doesn't come. I've heard from another feed that they are surprisingly better than people would think but never used myself yet.

This is my tests from my last pregnancy in March. Not really much difference between the £1 shop one and the FRER

Well I ordered some FRER which arrived this morning. my AF is due Sunday! And I just couldn’t help myself but test late afternoon and it was a BFN! 😞 so I think I am out this month! Will test again maybes tues/weds if AF hasn’t arrived.

@missnena FRER is not all it’s made out to be. It says 6 days before missed period, which is really only 5 days before your period is due (cos it’s not actually missed until the day after iyswim) and also, I’m not sure of the actual numbers, but on the side of the frer box it says it only shows for 62% of women. So please don’t give up hope! You’re not out til the red lady shows her ugly face!

Remember a week or so ago I said I was pretty chilled this month and was gonna wait until I'm late to test? Well, I've gone a bit mad as usual. Symptoms: cramping, sore boobs and nausea.

I might be 10dpo, but equally I might be 8dpo. Never get ANY pregnancy like symptoms prior to AF. Rational me is saying it's too early for symptoms.

Anyway, how's everyone else getting on today??

@8daysaweek i think you may have given your chill to me!! Yesterday I was feeling a bit mad and desperate to test. Today, not so much. I don’t know if it’s because I’m quietly convinced that AF is indeed going to pop up today, or because I don’t want to get rid of the tiny bit of hope I have, but I actively don’t want to test today. It’s bizarre.
But to be honest all my symptoms have gone apart from being really tired and unable to focus

I tested this morning and got a faint line on a FRER (after getting the squintiest squinter on a cheap test). I'm trying not to get too excited though, as I took an HCG trigger shot 11 days ago and while it should be fully out of my system by now I'm scared that I might be picking up leftover HCG from the trigger.

I will test again either tomorrow and/or Sunday to see if the line has got darker.

@tinypaws - tentative congrats! I don't know how long it takes HCG to get out of your system, forgive me but I'm not familiar with a trigger shot?

Haha goats well I'm glad you got some chill! Though I totally get what you mean about not wanting to test and see a bfn. Logically, why would we do that? Why would we not just wait until we are late and then the disappointment is taken out of our hands and AF can inflict it on us herself. But we can't let it happen can we! Stay strong too, I am failing over here!

I'm the same @8daysaweek even though I'm positive this is not the month I still took a test today... at 9dpo.. what's wrong with me? I know full well it will be a BFN but I can't stop obsessing 😂🙈 no symptoms I can spot unfortunately either

@mmmgoats Thanks! The trigger shot is an injection of hCG used to induce ovulation in stimulated cycles (it works because hCG is very similar to LH so the shot gives you an artificial LH surge). However, hCG is also what pregnancy tests detect so it can give a false positive result if you test too early.

The patient information leaflet says it can give a false positive "up to 10 days later". I took my pregnancy test 11 1/2 days after the shot so feeling hopeful. (Also I'm feeling a bit nauseous and the cat has been behaving oddly the past couple of days.)

I'm trying not to build my hopes too high as I'll be devastated if I'm not pregnant this cycle, it's looking like IVF is our next step if this cycle is unsuccessful.

@mmmgoats I am the same with testing, just don't want to lose that hope and it's almost better getting AF than a bfn I think.

I am 10dpo today. Had loads of symptoms yesterday but they all seem to have gone today. Temperature has gone very slightly up since yesterday's dip. I am still going to try not to test until Sunday but it will be a miracle display of will power if I don't poas tomorrow morning!

I’m 10dpo, bfn today but I’m not giving up. Didn’t get a bfp last time til 2 days after my missed period

Was just coming on here to ask if anyone who was testing on Sunday had caved yet and tested.....and I see that there is lots of testing going on!

tinypaws fingers crossed for you. Surely ‘up to 10 days’ is the absolute last chance it could influence the result so hopefully at 11.5 it’s a real BFP.

I got up and peed at 3:30am and I’m glad I did because I was so tempted to test this morning, but at 6am I thought it wouldn’t be very good FMU after peeing earlier so I resisted. I’m 9-10 days dpo (using ov sticks only) but as I haven’t had a bleed or a period since coming off the pill so don’t even know for sure I ovulated.

Well I think I'm out this month. AF due tomorrow and just had a bit of very light pink on the tissue when I wipe [sorry for TMI] so I guess that's that! :(

Oh well, hopefully next cycle will be the lucky one for me!

Aaargh I did a stupid thing. Went to the chemist for a FRER, none in stock so I bought a CB despite everyone going on about evap lines and NOT to use them.

So, I'm probably going to end up going elsewhere for a FRER anyway as I can't wait another couple of days to test with the second in the pack like any sane normal person would just do.

8days I feel your pain I was like this last month!!!
I’m a bit gutted as i think it must be AF, it’s bang on time and I think too late for any implantation bleeding.
I did a cervix check and there was a little bit more redder blood too. The only thing thing it could be is DTD a couple of days ago may have irritated my cervix as I bleed during smears etc but I feel like again it would have happened earlier!
Going to sulk now until AF properly arrives.

Even though i knew she would come I’m still a bit fed up.
