I done one yesterday as I gave blood so wanted to check before I went and it was a BFN. So gonna wait until Sunday I think 12 dpo to do another. Getting less and less confident!

Thanks halfblood. I think I’m gonna get some of those seven seas trying for a baby pills which have B6 in plus the vitD folic acid etc. Only £5.50 for a month and people keep telling me they got pregnant straight away after starting them.

It’s not the not being pregnant this month that bothers me though, it’s only really our second proper cycle. It’s the thought that something might stop me getting pregnant but it still being an unknown.

Will give it till the end of the year and see what’s what.

Looking at the positive, I can book the 1 month hot yoga course I’ve been wanting to do and lose a bit of the fat I’ve acquired recently in the next 4 weeks. Grin

Im jealous @basin that actually sounds fun! Might have to have a Google Haha!

@basinhaircut check boots before you buy them - a lot of their vitamins are on a 3 for 2 at the minute so you might get a better deal.

@alicepol I’ve got a good feeling for you, 🤞it’s your month!

alicepol · 14/09/2018 12:27

I really hope so! My boobs don't hurt as much today and I've some thick creamy cm. Don't really know what it means (took a picture to put on a fb ttc page) but won't put it on here to gross you all out 😂

Sorry to hear she arrived Alice, and it sounds like you've got a lot on your plate right now. All the best for the future and I hope everything turns out ok with your DH xxx

HalfBloodPrincess · 20/09/2018 20:54

So sorry @alicepol. Best wishes to you and your dh, and remember we’re all here if you need somewhere to offload xxx

BasinHaircut · 21/09/2018 07:45

Oh alice big hugs. Take care x

Jegon · 24/09/2018 12:41

So sorry @alicepol and hope all is ok with DH, thoughts with you both x

alicepol · 25/09/2018 16:57

Thanks everyone.
DH is having surgery next week. Looking like testicular cancer (wont know how bad until after) so they are taking the 1 testicle out. No idea how that and possible chemo will do to our chances of ever having our #2.
Obviously not the thing I'm worrying about at the moment but wondering if that has had something to do with why we haven't managed to concieve yet.

Hope the pregnancies are going okay!?

Oh no alice that’s awful.

Fingers crossed for your DH Flowers

HalfBloodPrincess · 25/09/2018 17:44

Oh @alicepol I never imagined it was something as bad as that! What a fucking horrible thing to be dealing with. Your poor DH. And poor you, you must be out of your mind with worry!

Will they give him the option of freezing sperm for future use? Is it something you could afford to do if it’s not available on the NHS (even though it bloody well should be)

Thinking of you x

alicepol · 25/09/2018 19:55

Not going to lie I have no idea! I briefly looked at it and it's saying some areas do it on the nhs and some do. If not it cab be up to £400 to freeze them and £300 a year to store.
They haven't said anything about fertility from the surgery but I've researched and it may possibly lower the chances but he will still has 1 testicle so it's not impossible. It's just if he has to have treatment afterward which could effect it.
Just hoping for the best but preparing for the worst. Hoping it's only in the testicle and having it removed is all that needs to be done!

8DaysAWeek · 25/09/2018 20:28

@alicepol god I'm so sorry to hear you and your family are going through this!

I remember when DH was diagnosed with leukaemia 4 years ago they never offered him to freeze his sperm, and it transpired later that they should have and lots of men on his particular treatment are offered it before they started. Basically it's a relatively new treatment so the effects on fertility haven't been tested yet. His doc didn't think there was a need to freeze sperm, but other docs do. Thankfully it hasn't cause us issues in the end.

Anyway, my point is, it's definitely worth asking even if they've never mentioned it, and considering DH was eligible for it on the NHS for a drug with unknown fertility effects, I would imagine for something related to the sexual organs they would be eligible.

Xx

Jegon · 02/10/2018 12:53

@alicepol so sorry to hear about your DH and thinking of you with his surgery this week x

Is anyone else experiencing 2ww symptoms, I feel nauseous in the morning and bloated with big boobs! I'm due on Thursday but am getting weirdly superstitious about testing early...anyone else like that?

HalfBloodPrincess · 17/10/2018 08:42

@alicepol how are you? Hope your husband surgery went ok and he’s recovering well.

@basinhaircut any news?

alicepol · 17/10/2018 17:18

Hey @halfbloodprincess he's recovered well and fast, been 2 weeks now and he's pretty much back to normal just less 1 nut 😂 we haven't heard any news on the results of the biopsy yet but his CT scan came back clear so if it was malignant then at least it hasn't spread!

OP posts:
alicepol · 17/10/2018 17:19
