Either 1dpo or on ovulation day here! Been trying smep this month but hoping for a few lovely ladies to go through the tww with!

Hi @Bas27 I'm 2 or 3dpo here, already driving myself crazy thinking I have symptoms when I know it's impossibly early! Two weeks seems like forever right now. I'm 24, this is my first cycle TTC first baby. Fingers crossed for you

I'm going to attempt to wait until the 16th but I know I will over analyse everything from here to Timbuktu between now and then!

Hi @Bas27 and @BlueArtemis again! :) I’m first cycle TTC DC1! I’m 27.

I’m around 2-3 post ovulation as well and I’m also going to test on the 16th. I’ve ovulated a bit later than I anticipated this months, when this has happened before my luteal phase has been slightly shorter.

My fingers are crossed for us all! I just need to try and preoccupy myself over the next week and a half! I have a tendency to over analyse and get a little obsessive!

@Bas27 I'm planning to test on the 15th, I'll be 13-14dpo by then which I'm hoping is about the right time Like @Charlotte1x I ovulated a few days late this month so I think AF will be a bit late anyway... I know that will get my hopes up even though I'm expecting it!

I've got a family wedding this weekend and I'm slightly dreading avoiding alcohol... they don't know we're TTC and that will definitely give the game away...!

Hi guys! I’m TTC, cycle 1 and I’m unsure when my next period is due - probably between 4 and 8 days. So far no positive tests. A couple of possible symptoms - but I could well be reading into things because I want them to be that! Any tips on keeping relaxed while TTC? I’m worried that it’s only cycle 1 and I’m already this neurotic!

@Mumplanner sorry I don’t have a lot of advice because I myself am already getting a little obsessive on cycle 1! I’m just trying to keep myself as busy as possible and if I start getting symptoms I’m gonna keep reminding myself that it could well be because AF is on its way... that what I won’t be getting my hopes up too much! (Even though I secretly will be 😬)

@Charlotte1x I’m so glad to know it’s not just me! Perhaps we will calm down a little after we’ve been through the first cycle (although I won’t hold my breath). I’m just spending lots of time researching and reading and generally obsessing over all things baby. 🙈

I wonder if anyone can shed some light... did you go most crazy on cycle #1? Or does it just get crazier??

I think I'm 6dpo but don't test for ovulation (promised we wouldn't until the 6months trying mark) I'm driving my self insane!!! I was so chilled before the mc but now I just want to be 6months pregnant already every month is a disappointment at the moment and if/when I get a bfp I don't even know how I will react! It's all we want but the fear of going through a mc again is just horrible.

Also no tests in the house so I don't waste them from 1dpo 😂😂😂 testing next Saturday if AF is a no show

@tollie00 I’m only on cycle 1 and feel a bit crazy! Hope it doesn’t get worse lol.

Wow! Welcome to all the new ladies added! Everyone is in slightly different places so we should hopefully get a line of bfps!
Myself and DH started out pretty chill but only on cycle 2 now and have gone off the deep end. 0-60 in 1.2 seconds. 😂
It will be great to see all of the bfps coming in! 🤞

Before mc I was the positive one and DH the negative one but it's now the opposite and I would love to get my old self back

Hi, can I join too please? Ttc #2, 1st cycle, think i’m 2dpo today. Not sure I can wait another 8-10 days to test, it feels sooo far away! I’m already imaginary symptom spotting......

@BlueArtemis a glass or two so early shouldn't affect the baby surely? It's not connected to your blood yet just travelling down. Of course don't get blackout drunk but if it's going to stress you out then I wouldn't feel bad nursing a glass or two all night if I were you.

I'm 29, cycle 1 and 1dpo.
I know realistically the chances are against me on month one, but I feel like the crazy side of my brain is convinced it'll happen straight away! I need to learn patience with this journey.

I think I'm 2 DPO but I'm not 100% when I ovulated as I think it was late last month.
I'm going to try not to test until my AF is late as I wasted a few last month!

@tollie00 I’ve decided I’m gonna test on 16th July I think, unless AF comes first. That’ll be 13/14 DPO so I’m hoping if it’s positive it would be quite clear! If I had the ‘is it a line or not?’ situation I think I’d be an anxious wreck! Will be so hard to resist though. What about you? X

I have to admit I’ve gone crazy on the tests - which is crazy as I don’t know how many days post ovulation or pre AF I am! I’m fairly sure I won’t be getting my BFP this month, which is hard after all my ‘symptom spotting’, I was feeling like I would. I think it’s going to be a tough day when AF does arrive. @2018isanewyear - you’re definitely right not to keep tests in the house! I definitely can’t be trusted around them

@Charlotte1x eeek AF due for me on 15th!!
I bought some clearblue about 2 weeks ago when we decided to start ttc, then last week after looking online I bought some FRER, now I realise I will definitely lose my testing willpower after feeling this crazy at 5dpo that today I bought some cheaper (£1 ea, pack of 6) early results ones from Amazon.

This is going to get expensive.

5dpo, AF due 17th July and determined not to early test - had a horrible time with an early miscarriage/chemical at 4 weeks last cycle.

Tried SMEP this month too, went really well and used OPKs for the first time.
