@Mumplanner try to think positive, that’s a really good line! I didn’t have to open the photo full size to see that! Congratulations 💐

@MrsT1983 I am also 8DPO and I have the exact same symptoms as you! Very crampy :( My boobs feel a bit heavy but aren’t too sore, but my nipples are! Constantly aware of them against my bra etc, just feel very sensitive. As soon as I tell myself they could be pregnancy symptoms I remember that they could well be AF symptoms :( if we hadn’t been trying for a baby I wouldn’t have even thought twice about it and would just think AF is on her way.

It’s so draining isn’t it! X

Fingers crossed to you that this cycle is the one! Xx

@Charlotte1 I know what you mean- no idea if it’s just normal pre-menstrual symptoms that I wouldn’t normally notice if we weren’t TTC! It’s so stressful! Roll on tomorrow morning so I can do another test.....

Ah sorry to hear that @2018isanewyear.
Has anyone else got serious bloat going on?
I'm going to do another test in the morning in the hopes that the line will be darker.
Anyone else testing today? x

Hello!!

So pleased to have found this group. In my first proper TWW and driving myself mad.

26, TTC #1, cycle 2 but really 1

Due on 20/21/22nd.

Think I’m about 6/ 7dpo - had my +ve OPK on Wednesday so that would suggest I o’d On Thursday right? And on Thursday I had ovulation pain, so I’m assuming that was my day?

Anyway I stupidly took a test today, and of COURSE it was BFN. Because I’m 7dpo crazy woman 😂.

Got such bad menstrual cramps though, some of them are reallly low down so I think AF is coming crazy early? Because I’m not due for 10 more days. So I think I’m already out. Have noticed lots more white creamy CM than usual though! (Sorry TMI)

When can I start testing (for reals 😂)? I’m thinking Sunday for FR - as that’ll be around 6 days prior to AF.

Anyone else on a similar timescale to me? Always good to keep each other sane 😂.

Xx

Also, having intermittent really sharp pain in my abdomen. Horrible and quite sharp! Not taking this as a good sign but no idea what’s going on.

Sorry for the essay 😂

Anyone else having issues with insomnia. My brain can't seem to switch off and I can't get comfortable. I'm not even thinking about ttc when I'm lying awake, it's just like my body will not allow me to switch off despite being shattered. I've had three nights of this now!

Have you seen this website

www.countdowntopregnancy.com/pregnancy-test/dpo-chart.php?dpo=9

Don't know which tests its based on but I find the numbers really helpful to dissuade me from testing and detail the likelihood of a false negative.

Waiting to start testing on internet cheapies on Saturday.

I will wait.

I will wait.

I'm totally going to break!

Hi everyone! Ttc my first! Haven’t had a period since 9th of June, so it’s been over a month since I’ve had one! Took a test on Monday and it said negative, but still having signs like nausea and sensitive nipples and this morning I’ve got a white mucus discharge (sorry tmi) which I’ve never had before! Anyone think I should take another test or wait longer? Thanks x

@TrevorJ I love that website, ideally 12dpo is what we should be waiting for but it's so tough isn't it! Fingers crossed we can hold out, are you 9dpo today? I'm 10 Smile

No I'm only 6 or 7 probably 6. Seems to be taking forever. I'm also meant to be diving next week for work so really want to know one way of the other this weekend.

@TrevorJ The time just goes so slowly doesn't it! I know, thank you - waiting for some FRERs to arrive from Amazon today. Oh yeah I don't blame you, hope you get answers at the weekend

@donna474 yes to the insomnia! I was up all night last night - by about 3am, I decided I would go to Tesco when is opened at 6 to get a test (I had run out!) but I fell asleep at about 5:30 after all that 🤦🏻‍♀️ People can tell you that you just need to relax and not worry about it all they want, but as much as I’d like to be that person - I know I just won’t be.

@FSlater those all sound like good signs to me - I’ve been cramping for the last week or so and it’s looking like it’s not AF related. I started testing crazy early too - I just couldn’t wait - I got my first tentative positive on an FRER when all the others were still showing negative.

@DanniFlowers - what type of test did you use? Maybe you could try a more sensitive one?

@tollie00 I ordered these from Amazon as a way to satisfy my need to test:
www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00379DV16/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?psc=1&ie=UTF8&tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21
They haven't actually arrived yet so I can't vouch for them, but pretty cheap AND they react to 10mlU!

Hi all! I’m really obsessing at the moment :(

I’m 9 DPO and I’ve been getting cramps for a while. This is completely normal for me in the lead up to AF. BUT the majority of the pain, especially today, is in my back. Short stabbing pains, bad to the point that I’ve had to take paracetamol.

I also keep going hot every now and then and a bit light headed, but this could just be a PMS symptom.

Does anyone know what implantation pain feels like and if I could be felt mostly in the back than the front? The pain is mostly to the right side and the middle. X

Report
Bas27 · 11/07/2018 21:59

@Charlotte1x I have never been pregnant so I can't tell you first hand what implantation pain feels like.
However, I know that it is common to feel this in your back as well. It shouldn't be painful enough to take paracetamol though. From everything I have read it should feel like pinching or a lighter version of your af cramps. 9dpo is the most common day of implantation.

Sorry your struggling at the moment!
I'm finding it easier today than I have for the last few. I think it's because it's nearly time to test.

@Charlotte1x I had some weird pulling type pains in my stomach first time round but didn’t realise they were probably implantation until afterwards, so hopefully that’s what you’re feeling! I’m also 9dpo today (I think), I’ve been having some cramps in my back, which I don’t normally get with af, nipples are quite sensitive since this morning and my husband has commented on me being really forgetful last few days, which I had early on last time. Also, my cats have been following me round like shadows which was also one of the reasons I tested with DS 😂 keeping my fingers crossed but not holding out too much hope since it’s only our first month of trying! @Mumplanner they’re the tests I’m using- just had to order another batch as I’ve nearly used the first lot up this week 🙈

Mumplanner · 11/07/2018 23:50

@Charlotte1x - where abouts in your back is the pain? I’ve found my kidneys have been sore at the back and then my cramping has been predominantly very low on my left hand side at the front - not really like normal cramping - it feels like a slightly sharper feeling but not really painful. I don’t know if that helps? X

Report
Angelmiracle · 12/07/2018 00:10

@Charlotte1x Ditto what @Mumplanner said about the kidneys- its the only symptom I remember with DS thought Id kidney infection was drinking loads if cranberry juice! Really hope its a good sign for you 🤞🤞🤞

Morning all. Thanks for your comments. The pain is very low down in my back, at the very top of my bum cheeks too. It’s mostly in the middle and to the right.
It just wouldn’t let up yesterday! I’d had twinges in the morning but by the afternoon there was no break in the little stabbing pains.
Could be AF as I always get cramps for quite a while before she’s due but it’s usually in my front, not my back.
How is everyone feeling? Anyone close to testing soon? I’m gonna try and wait till Monday unless AF arrives before. I’ll be 14DPO so hoping I’ll get a definite answer. Xx

@MrsT1983 I've got two cats and one is really cuddly, the other quite stand-offish and she's the one who's been jumping up for cuddles the last two days!
BFN on a FRER this morning, but hopefully it's just a bit too early 🤞🤞

@Charlotte1x last month when I got a BFP (but sadly had a chemical) I had similar pains in my lower back! 🤞 For you and well done waiting to test!!
