@Anyday88 congratulations on the BFP.

13DPO here, no sign of AF or BFP, luteal phase usually 11 days, who knows what is going on. I did get some good news recently though, my GP is going to prescribe me some treatment for my thyroid as my TSH is too high and I have thyroid autoantibodies which increases my risk of miscarriage, so hopefully getting some treatment will get my TSH back to a healthier level and make it easier to conceive and keep a bean growing.

Also a crafter here! Just bought some llama wool actually from when we went llama trekking Grin

Boboelephant · 04/07/2018 11:44

@Anyday88 congratulations!!! Hope it's a sticky one for you.
@sweetpea0318 yay glad you got your positive! I got mine on Monday too. Although I have a short surge so also ovulated Monday. I'm sure you did. I don't usually get pains- just know from temp, opk and cm.
@KnitKitty thanks hun. I have to admit I get a bit nervous when there's lots of bfps as I feel like the quota is full and therefore I won't get mine. Sounds crazy I know but I have seen so many lucky months for everyone else but not me. Funnily enough I don't usually get any ov pains but this month I got quite strong ones in my left ovary and back and a strong stitch which lasted a few hours! Left is the good side! So fingers crossed!!!
@Bobzybaby haha we all do that! I'm probably testing next Saturday too! What dpo are you?
@strawberrye sorry for the limbo but yay for gp giving you something for thyroid!

@Anyday88 Congrats on your BFP! Totally get you feeling nervous but at the moment you are pregnant and that is better than not being pregnant so yay!

dreaminofholidays · 04/07/2018 16:37

@anytime88 congratulations. Am I right in thinking you tested earlier and then got a BFP later? x

Bobzybaby · 04/07/2018 17:08

Apologies if I end up having posted twice! I replied earlier but it doesn't seem to have appeared!

@Boboelephant I'm assuming dpo = day's post ovulation?! If so, I'm on day 3 (typically a 28 day cycle). I start my Cyclogest on Friday and take it for 7 days so next sat is het! The Cyclogest is causing a sorts of side effects so I'm not really gonna have any vibes either way.

What preggo tests does everyone use? I generally use Tesco's own 2 for £3.50. A midwife once told me to just use cheap ones. But, is there any ones that's better? I'm not bothered if they're more pricey!

CherryBlossom02 · 04/07/2018 17:22

@Bobzybaby I always say I'm going to use the cheap ones and then when it comes down to it I end up buying the first response early detection ones... they're about £6 a pop 🙈 I just have no self control lol!

I'm also 3dpo and due to test on 11th/13th depending on which app I go for.

Bobzybaby · 04/07/2018 17:27

Thanks @CherryBlossom02 quite a few folk on the thread have mentioned First Response. Over the years I think that's literally the only brand I've not tried lol! I'll maybe give it a try this month.

If you're anything like me I wouldn't have the self control to wait if one app gave me an earlier date! But, it's the double edged sword because you then start thinking it could be neg because it's too early! Vicious cycle 🙄

SunshineSparklesSmiles · 04/07/2018 17:38

Hello All, please may I ask your advice? As I mentioned in my intro, I had an erpc on 11th June. I took a test they gave me one week later to ensure all had been cleared. I did buy some ovulation sticks to check if my body was getting back into routine and it said I was ovuluating as per my old cycle which gave me hope. Bottom line I'm CD24 of my 27 day cycle. Please tell me this looks real. I can't quite believe it and worry wort me thinks as this is extra sensitive it could have picked up something the post erpc preg test did when I tested on 17th June. Is that possible or could it be I caught my eggo? I so very hope it's the later one x

  • post erpc missed not did
CherryBlossom02 · 04/07/2018 17:42

I know right @Bobzybaby ! Although the last two months I've succeeded in not testing early...And saved myself a bunch of money seeing as AF decided to arrive bang on time both months.

We've been trying harder than ever (No pun intended) this month and I've been working on actively reducing my stress levels to see if that helps.

How long did it take everyone to conceive their previous time(s)? We fell pg after 2 months and then again after 4 months the second time. Unfortunately it seems to be taking a LOT longer this time 🙁

CherryBlossom02 · 04/07/2018 17:44

@SunshineSparklesSmiles that looks exciting to me! Were both test you took after the erpc completly negative? Any other symptoms? X

SunshineSparklesSmiles · 04/07/2018 17:51

@CherryBlossom02 Thank you so much. Yes, both were completely negative. I scrutinised them as was so concerned about possible remnants as I know sometimes it isn't possible to check all has been removed. The ovulation test gave me hope things were moving in the right direction but I thought we'd give things a go and use this month as a practice run ready for next month. My AF isn't due until Sunday so will test daily from now with fmu as didn't today and hope the line gets stronger Flowers

SunshineSparklesSmiles · 04/07/2018 17:53

Symptoms wise, bit nauseous here and there and a little constipation (put that down to heat)

Anyday88 · 04/07/2018 18:00

Hi everyone!

I have been at work today so not been able to catch up with you all.

Thank you for the congratulations

Here it is the photo @KnitKitty, it is a squinted but definitely there and pink in real life! I hope you can see it!

I did test two days ago and it was negative so I am hoping over the next few days the line gets much darker 🤞🏻

Hi all,

Age - 29.

Currently on cycle 2 (1 since MC). MC at 4.5 weeks (technically chemical) in June. We conceived on first attempt. Sadly too good to be true.

Ovulated since MC and I think I’m 3 DPO but it’s all a tad confusing!

Thanks for making this lovely thread, good luck to you all :)

Spooples · 04/07/2018 18:25

Suspect I've had a chemical. Thought I could see a squinter yesterday evening on a clear blue, and had mad painful boobs. Just taken a FRER 24 hours later which is meant to be more sensitive and it looks even less convincing. :(

I need icecream

Bobzybaby · 04/07/2018 18:29

Hey @SunshineSparklesSmiles if your other test were completely negative I'd take this as fresh slate and exciting news! Everything crossed for a healthy sticky bean 🤞🏻🤞🏻

SunshineSparklesSmiles · 04/07/2018 19:17

Thank you @Bobzybaby I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping it's a sturdy little bean Smile

Laney79 · 04/07/2018 19:42

Congrats @Anyday88 @SunshineSparklesSmiles fingers crossed for sticky ones!

Sorry not to respond to everyone-I'm so behind! Will try and keep up!

I'm back from our lovely weekend away, including our posh bonk as the other half puts it! A bit early for ovulation it seems as opks have all been negative, but either way we've had a great time! I'm either cd 10 or cd12...so another 2-4 days till ovulation if it follows the pattern of last month so I think we'll have a busy few days ahead!

littleemma1 · 04/07/2018 20:07

@HidCat @Anyday88 @SunshineSparklesSmiles
I think a congratulations is in order!! I hope with all my heart you all have sticky beans ❤️❤️❤️

Can’t wait to get married on Saturday. Just getting the last few bits and pieces together!!!
I think I’ve ovulated even earlier again this month as my “stabby” pains have gone and my usual ovulation spots have popped up 😔 which is good but I now have spots for the wedding and means AF is probably gonna rock up on the last couple of days of the honeymoon. Not 100% sure as I haven’t tracked with OPK’s so I’m slightly annoyed at myself now!!!

Ells0204 · 04/07/2018 20:37

Congrats @Anyday88 Flowers this is a great thread! I wonder who’s next...!

9dpo and boobs have just started to get sore which means impending AF! They get sore super early usually 7 days so I know she’s coming next week. Uh feeling deflated, hoping to see more BFPs on here though!

Spooples · 04/07/2018 21:19

:( I'm out. Beginning of AF has just arrived. 90% sure I had a chemical as I can still see a very very faint line on a FRER and yesterday's clearblue 😭

Blondcat · 04/07/2018 21:29

@fae1989 welcome

@laney79 push bonk sounds great and relaxing.

@spooples sorry af got you especially after faint positives hugs Flowers
