Who’s trying SMEP this month?

Support thread for those giving smep a go this month! I’m CD6 so going to start soon. All fingers crossed that this works for us all this month.
Debating whether to buy CB OPK or just stick with IC - might do IC until around FW and then see if I can find a few old CB lying around to confirm a positive.
Anyone else giving this a go?

@NoseringGirl I had a cp cycle before last and started bleeding about 4 days after Af was due, then I ovulated a week late, and Af also arrived a week late. I was despairing by about cd24 when I still didn't have a positive OPK but then it suddenly arrived. My luteal period was th same so Af was then "late" and I had a longer cycle. Cycle after that was back to normal.

Sorry you've had one too @Firsttimer16 I'll try not to panic if ovulation doesn't happen at the usual time then. I have PCOS and used to just have anovulatory cycles. Now that I've been ovulating regularly, I'm terrified of my body just going back to be being anovulatory!

Sorry for the lack of words. Still in a state of shock. That right there is my BFP....taken on a cheap test at 14dpo, the day after my period was due. Yeeeeeeah I had extra will power this time around 🙈!!!!

Still a bit in shock really. I mean, I know a lot can still go wrong at this point....I've had both a chemical and a miscarriage before....but I can't help but feel like this will be the one that finally sticks ❤️

Wondering if there'll ever be a right time to tell my kid they were conceived in a disabled loo in New Hampshire, during an ovulation panic? 🙈

Love all these positive posts, I think I might have to start SMEP next cycle! Tried this month but found it just a bit much but all these positives will spur me on!

Thanks everyone!! Still a bit in shock and praying this one is sticky. For now I'm just trying to be really really happy and stop worrying! Thank god I return home to the UK next week and can see a doctor. The US medical system is an actual joke 🙄

CD5 today. Starting SMEP this month.
I have just been reading all the BFPs congratulations everyone and some familiar names too which is great!!
Does anyone find it difficult to keep up the sex? DH doesn't have a massively high sex drive (neither do I) so hoping we manage it!

I won't lie...it did find it hard to keep up! We always had what we thought was a particularly healthy sex life...but this is next level! An unpredicted stay at my grandparents timeshare ended up spicing things up a bit, having to escape to a disabled loo of all places 🙈 made it a bit more exciting though I'll admit!

@Bellafreud I honestly couldn't tell you! For some reason this month I came up with at least x3 positive OPKs in a row, with the rest of them being almost positive in how dark the lines were. I'd never had that before, so who can say for sure what did it?!

well AF won again! I am on cd1 looking forward to SMEP again...

@FlapJackered it did fee like a lot of sex...esp in this heat!! But I like the way it felt a bit more focused - so rather than just randomly having it a lot, you had a schedule! Some people might hate it but I liked it!
I'll def be hanging around if that's ok, I don't feel quite ready to join a pregnancy board yet properly, going to give it another few weeks so want to see how the rest of you lovely ladies get on!
