Who’s trying SMEP this month?

Support thread for those giving smep a go this month! I’m CD6 so going to start soon. All fingers crossed that this works for us all this month.
Debating whether to buy CB OPK or just stick with IC - might do IC until around FW and then see if I can find a few old CB lying around to confirm a positive.
Anyone else giving this a go?

@themagictorch I've been havign a drink a day because a) I'm on holiday and b) fairly sure I'm not pregnant. I'm thinking 'drink till it's pink' is my new slogan tbh

As for me, AF due in two days and still stark white BFN on frer. Also I am PMSing like a mofo so now just sitting back and waiting for AF. It's our first cycle so I'm not sad really but I am a bit embarrassed about all my 'symptoms' they felt so REAL though!! Anyway they've all died down now so I guess it was just progesterone and I'm not used to monitoring my body so closely. Lessons learned

Will keep up to date on here though and wishing for quick TWW with minimal insanity for you all and loads of BFPs!! xxx

@WaitingforDaffodils 😂 Yep drink til it's Pink is perfect! I had a corona last night while watching Love Island which was lovely and relaxing.
I have cut my caffeine intake right down though, as that's more of a big change for me.

Sorry about your BFN it's still so weird about your symptoms - but I guess when TTC we are more aware of what's going on in our bodies.

@WaitingforDaffodils one of the hard parts of the TWW is that ore AF symptoms are basically the same as pregnancy ones. It's all progesterone at this stage. I've been pregnant twice and I remember having particular 'symptoms' but I think they only stand out in my memory because those were the cycles I got BFPs. Doesn't stop me symptom spotting like mad!
You're not until AF shows though!

I'm only 4DPO and trying to figure out how long I can hold on without testing.

Hi ladies!!! Been a while and just caught up on everyone.... @HoldOnToHope that's FANTASTIC! I've lurked on these boards for a while and you're the first BFP I've seen, so good to see SMEP working for some-one!

We've had to take a quick break from doing BD every day, as we're visiting my grandparents. I did an OPK this morning and guess what...DARKEST FRIGGIN' LINE EVER. I've never caught one this positive before!!

Does anyone know how long the surge/ovulation period can last? Am I leaving it too late doing the BD soon as we get home tomorrow afternoon, or should I try and escape my grandparents house for a bit? They live in the smallest flat ever and we're sleeping on the couch...not an option to do it here!

I've also never ovulated this early before...I'm on CD13 now and it's usually always CD17/18, giving me a very short luteal phase. I honestly believe this could be my shot!

@Kelsoid I felt really strong ovary pain the afternoon after peak opk the evening before so I think the next day dtd should be fine. Hurray for earlier ovulation! 🤞this is your month!

@Kelsoid great news on early ovulation - excellent you caught it too and didn't start testing late! I would try escape if you possibly can...but sure tomorrow will work just as well!

@TheMagicTorch I am going to do Saturday with a frer at 10dpo and then if BFN an ic every day until the red witch after that. If BFP... might actually still do that....

I was thinking it would be great to get an idea of when people are planing testing if you're up for it?

So:
Currently: 6dpo
Planning on testing: 10dpo/14th July
Using: frer
Ttc: no 1
Symptoms: trying not to spot. Buuuuut unusual amount of cm. (tmi I know)

Currently: 4DPO
Planning on testing: 9DPO (Sunday)
Using: IC
Ttc: #3
Symptoms: way to early for that but my skin has come out in spots which is unusual and I've started getting grumpy which is standard at this point in my cycle.

Is this a positive? I put needed from the experts ha ha... Took it at 12 pm today... Opk

Post too early... Test line is darker than the control line... Is tomorrow my 1dpo...

Planning to test 9dpo (Tuesday 17)
Using: Frer (and IC - let's be honest...!)
Ttc number 2
Cycle 4
Symptoms - none so far - not even I can start wildly imagining them just yet...! Give me 3 days though!
