CALLING ALL YAMMER'S!

Yammer rules:

A safe place for those of you who have been trying to conceive for 6+ months and even yams aren’t helping. Come and have a good ol’ bitch and a moan without judgement. Please read the rules before posting!

The Yam Commandments are as follows;

  • Thou shalt not arrive one day and post BFP next day
  • Thou shalt not give advice to others when TTC for one month only
  • Thou shalt not participate in one-up-manship and realise TTC is shit for everyone in different ways
  • Thou shall allow posters to be fucked off with the world and everything in it at regular points in the month
  • Thou shalt not be offended by strong language
  • Thou shalt not tell everyone to eat yams
  • Thou shall accept being called a muppet for testing at 7dpo at 9pm at night

And most importantly...

  • Thou shalt not symptom spot during the two week wait and must be prepared for a telling off if you do so.

NEW RULE ALERT!

-Thou shalt not post pictures of positive pregnancy tests. We will be delighted to hear about it but no photos, please and thank you

3 month waiting list for sperm test @maddiie ? That's a bummer! Didn't realise how lucky we were that it gets done quick in our area (although they often lose results - grrr).

Fx for you @Owlpatrol!

I'm suddenly at 9dpo again - don't know where this month has gone but am sure the next 5 days will take forever. Can't get my hopes up anymore, just focussing on next fertility appt in Oct where we'll hopefully be referred for IVF.

Argh so I got up this morning after a really bad sleep, took an ic test and it was negative. Then when I was wiping I had red blood! I'm only 10dpo and I've looked back on ovia and the last time I had spotting was 12dpo and brown. Now I know you might be thinking oh here's another is it implantation question, but honestly even after 2 years ttc my body keeps on surprising me! I'm actually more annoyed that test was BFN because from what I've read if it was indeed ib I should get a positive test. Anyway I'm going to test again tomorrow unless this is af early!

If it is IB, I don't think it would show on test for a couple of days? I think our bodies only start producing preg hormones after implantation and they aren't high enough to detect for a few days. But I know how frustrating false hope can be - sorry!

I have awful cramps this morning. Different from period cramps - sharper and sorer. Think I'm going to break my not testing rule to see if I can take ibuprofen or not!

All romance is officially gone here.. trying so hard to have sex every other day for this long is draining. Dh doesn't even want it anymore and I'm basically having to nag him for sex. He couldn't finish this morning after like a 40 minute session of me trying to force myself to want it just to try and get pg and I was so annoyed at all the wasted effort. Why is ttc so shit? It's ruined sex!

@maddiie I’ll be honest about half of the time I wasn’t in the mood (sex drive is super low anyway cos of all the antidepressants) but did it anyway. One night the pressure got to DH and we resorted to him going solo then using a funnel to get it into me (I’m not joking). Totally get where you’re coming from and how you feel!

@BGDino DH just doesn't want it anymore, he's taken on a more stressful role at work and is too tired all the time. Him not wanting it makes me not want it and I'm struggling to get in the mood these days anyway.. it's just becoming such a chore. No way would I persuade DH to do it himself and use a funnel and how depressing is it that I find that idea far more appealing than sex right now Blush Just feels impossible.

I got a BFN this morning and the awful cramps went away as soon as I had a poo Blush! Oh well. Still 5 days to FP.

I'm trying so hard not to overthink things I've looked back and only once did I spot on cycle day 25 but it was brown....And this is still pink ish I'm so confused. Only thing keeping me thinking it could be IB is that usually my boobs have stopped aching by now but they're killing this morning Sad planning to test tomorrow morning if af doesn't show today. If it does show today then it's only been a 10 day LF so I'm a bit worried about that

@Owlpatrol It's so hard not to over think isn't it. My cycles are drastically irregular but I never have bleeding in between them. Two/three weeks ago I had pink blood when I wiped, two hours later brown blood tried to think nothing of it, three days later achy boobs and nausea and neg tests. Still don't know what it was and AF still hasn't turned up. It's so difficult not knowing what's going on especially because of how ultra tuned in we become to our bodies during ttc. Hopefully it's a good sign for you but if not don't worry, it'll happen eventually Thanks

@maddiie how are you doing and your puppy? I know what it's like when you have to take a dog to the vet it's horrid! My dog is my world and it's so heartbreaking!

Just a small update, obviously been googling IB for two days....been trying to take my mind off things. It's still here on and off but brown, I am expecting af but I haven't got that heaviness down there if you know what I mean?? I tested this morning on an IC and I swear I see the faintest of shadows but it's optimistic thinking I know it is!

I'm due FP on Wednesday. Doing field research this week out in the wilds with no toilets so it's going to be doubly awful!

Hey Ladies! Im struggling with a two day hangover.. work is not much fun this morning! Got roaringly drunk at a friends wedding on Saturday night.. all thoughts of TTC went completely out of the window. If I get pregnant this month, it will be a miracle as I think I pickled my eggs. hahah

Hope you are all doing ok.. Time for me to grab another coffee before i fall asleep at my desk. lol
